I guess I never realized that I was bullied until I read some of the stories in this book. I also guess it started in middle school, around the 6th or 7th grade. I was in that faze where I was interested in boys and wanted to show that to everyone or something like that. I'm not sure why that was; my mind just worked that way.

I was always a chubbier kid, my brother was always skinnier and handsomer and everyone wanted him. And no one wanted me. But the first guy I was ever "with" was a foreign exchange student from Germany. We hit it off because I speak German as well and he was really great. It worked out well until I was dared to kiss some other guy and he found out. He didn't find out it was a dare until two years ago. When I wrote him a letter after I saw him again for the first time in 3 or 4 years. But after that, I went through a few too many guys. Which meant nothing. It was just meaning that I met guys talked to them and then moved on. It was such a big deal to everyone at school because no one else was talking to guys outside of school. Or at least no one was interested in guys like that. Anyways, I started realizing that people were talking about me behind my back, and a lot of times to my face. I was the slut. The school slut in middles school. Even the people who told me about the rumors were the ones who started them or spread them even more. It caused me to start cutting, and I haven't completely stopped since. (I'm working on it) After 8th grade I decided I would go to private school instead of go to the public high school everyone else in my class was going to.

The first few weeks were the same. Which sucks because I went there wanting a new rep. but I kissed one guy and talked to another and people started singing a song about me being thirsty. And I was being bullied by this one guy who every time I walked into the room rolled his eyes and made some stupid remark. I didn't even know why until the beginning of sophomore year. (The guy I kissed was in a on and off relationship who's best friend was the guy who was bullying me.) It almost made me leave school. But I didn't, and then I met someone. We started dating on Valentine's Day of 2014, we're still together and he always supports me and is everything I could ever ask for.
