I remember when I was younger, maybe kindergarten, there were these group of older boys who would gather around me and call me names and other things.

I can't exactly remember what they said, but I remember how they said it. They said it teasingly, but almost like they wanted it to affect me.

After a while, I got sick of it and you wanna know what I did? I screamed. I screamed and they all scattered, almost as if they were scared to get caught. They teased me for a few days more, and every day I'd scream, and they'd run away. Finally, they stopped messing with me.

I was little, and probably didn't realize at the time what was really going on, but I'm glad I defended myself. Who knows what would've happened if I hadn't.
