To her, the crown prince was as superior and inviolable as the highest snow mountain… but he had let that girl climb onto his back?!
That girl straddled him?!
Pfft —
Lou Yun spat out another mouthful of blood.
The physical pain was nothing compared with how she felt inside.
Once the onlookers were dismissed, Feng looked down at Lou Yun with an impassive look on his face.
Feng had known Lou Yun since she was little, and he saw how hard she had struggled to rise to this position from when they had found her as a mere beggar on the street.
“Mr Feng… His Royal Highness and Feng Wu… They…”
Tears rolled down Lou Yun’s cheeks.
Feng shook his head. It seemed that Lou Yun was no longer fit for this position as the head of World Tower.
“Mr Feng, did you know all along?” Lou Yun asked between broken sobs as tears streaked her face.
She felt too defeated to stand up.
So what if she looked pathetic? What did she care now? Her world had just collapsed.
Feng sighed. “I warned you before.”
But you were jealous and blinded by your personal agenda. You thought you could fool others.
“Mr Feng, I…”
“You’re no longer fit for World Tower.” Feng gave his verdict. “Go back to the imperial guards.”
“Mr Feng…” Lou Yun was genuinely scared.
She had given all she had and put in so much painstaking effort to stand out among all the talented people in the imperial guards. She had come a long way from when she had been a mere slave. However, she was going to lose everything because of one tiny selfish act.
“I won’t accept it!” Lou Yun wasn’t convinced.
Crossing his hands behind his back, Feng looked up at the clear blue sky.
“You might be able to hide your selfish motives from others, but Miss Feng Wu isn’t someone you can offend without consequences.” Feng shook his head.

Even Princess Jun Wuxia had to wait here for a parent to pick her up, not to mention a mere employee like Lou Yun. What was there to argue about?
No matter how reluctant Lou Yun was, the crown prince didn’t believe in second chances.
Hence, Lou Yun was sent back to the imperial guards and Lou Yue was made the new head of World Tower.
The only reminder Feng gave Lou Yue was: offend His Royal Highness, you might be spared, but you’ll want to double check how you got this job if you want to mess with Miss Feng Wu.
Lou Yue wanted to ask for a further explanation, but Feng only shook his head. “Don’t ask why. We can easily find a replacement for you if you can’t figure it out.”
Lou Yue nodded obediently in a hurry.
Meanwhile, up on Beyond World, Feng Wu and Jun Linyuan were in an awkward situation.
Jun Linyuan wanted to leave, but Feng Wu had grabbed his belt from behind.
She would follow him wherever he went.
Jun Linyuan was speechless.
He couldn’t help but look over his shoulder and glare at Feng Wu. “Are you a dog? Let go of my belt!”
Feng Wu was so afraid that Jun Linyuan would go after Feng Xun again, although she still couldn’t figure out why he was doing it in the first place… Her reasoning was that Jun Linyuan was a sadist.
Gingerly looking up at Jun Linyuan, Feng Wu only wrapped her fingers tighter around his belt.
Jun Linyuan didn’t say anything.
From this angle, Feng Wu looked as adorable and cuddly as a puppy. However, he flared up again when he recalled all the things she had done!
“Are you that worried about Feng Xun?” Jun Linyuan asked grumpily.
“No, of course not.” Feng Wu’s glistening eyes reminded him of a doe. “I just don’t want to see Your Royal Highness hurt your hands.”

Although she had no idea why Jun Linyuan wanted to beat Feng Xun up, it was always a good idea to butter him up.
Because Feng Wu had realized something very important!
Before she was powerful enough, she wouldn’t be able to protect all the people she wanted to protect — she couldn’t even protect herself. Hence, until she could do that, she needed to find the biggest kid on the playground.
She had thought that Feng Xun was good enough to solve all her problems, but as it turned out today, when Jun Linyuan the Fiend was around, Feng Xun was a mere punching bag.
So… maybe she should switch to Jun Linyuan instead?
Although, he looked too unfriendly to be an ideal protector.
But everyone was afraid of him and he seemed to be her only option.
The more Feng Wu thought about it, the more upset she became. Shoulders drooping, she heaved a sigh.
Jun Linyuan was a little nonplussed by Feng Wu’s words, and somehow, his anger dissipated. Instead, he stared at Feng Wu and said awkwardly, “I see you’ve learned. You’re sweet talking me now.”
Seriously? Jun Linyuan wasn’t mad anymore?
An idea came to Feng Wu all of a sudden, but it disappeared as fast as it appeared.
Jun Linyuan patted Feng Wu on her head, then rubbed her hair. He liked the feel of it.
Feng Wu looked past what Jun Linyuan was doing with his hand and her eyes sparkled. “You’ll cut Feng Xun loose, won’t you? Oh, can you maybe let Jin Yuntao go as well? Please? He only got into a fight with Ye Yafei because he was helping me. His family will freak out and they’ll think he offended you if you ask his parents to pick him up…”
Jun Linyuan stared at Feng Wu. “Why do you care about other men so much?”
As if Yu Mingye and Feng Xun weren’t enough, there was this Jin Yuntao now?
“Are you going to hit on everyone?” Jun Linyuan glowered at Feng Wu!
Oh no… here we go again.
Feng Wu stumbled back.
Jun Linyuan pressed her, “Speak. Do you like them that much?”
“I don’t! I don’t like any of them that way!” Feng Wu said proudly.
“Who do you like, then?” Jun Linyuan stared at Feng Wu.
“No one.” The only one that Feng Wu cared about now was her white-clad, elegant master.
Jun Linyuan snorted.
He didn’t like that answer, but he didn’t hate it either.
“Can you let them go, please? Just Jin Yuntao and his friends…” Tugging at Jun Linyuan’s sleeve, Feng Wu looked at him with pleading eyes.
The crown prince was defeated by her doe eyes.
He raised his chin. “Are you begging me now?”
Feng Wu nodded in a hurry. “Yes, of course.”
“How spineless.” Jun Linyuan jabbed Feng Wu’s forehead with a finger. “Fine, I’ll let all of them go.”
“No, you can’t!” Feng Wu said in a hurry. “Just Jin Yuntao, his friends, and Feng Xun. Not Mu Yaoyao and the others! They’ll have to be picked up by their parents!”
Jun Linyuan stared at Feng Wu with an open mouth.
Feng Wu nodded at him earnestly. “I mean it!”
The girl was so good at bearing grudges. Jun Linyuan said grumpily, “Why should I listen to you? Who are you to me? I’m not following your orders. I’ll do whatever I want.”
“Jun~ Lin~ Yuan~” Feng Wu said in a saccharine voice as she swayed his arm back and forth. “Boss Jun~ Your Royal Highness~ my dear crown prince~ Jun —”
“Stop talking like that!” Jun Linyuan cast a stern look at her.
Feng Wu pouted and looked at him in grievance.

The Pugilist
Vincent Roy Salazar has never been your common folk. He climbed any mountain he found in front of him. From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.

Human in a Demon's Hide
I had recently enrolled in the military as a lowly footsoldier. Oh, before you could proceed any further, let me tell you about myself. I ain’t some patriotic soldier that’ll lay down my life for the sake of my country. Hell no! That shit is for the people with loose screws! I had only a few goals when I joined the army: March into battle, kick ass, and earn me some cash! Achieving glory on the way wouldn’t hurt. I just need the money to feed my little brother and sister. Their world is all I want to protect. The glory is for washing clean the stains that my father left on the family name. We became such a joke in the country that our mother abandoned us. I don’t know if he really did betray the country, but I don’t care. For my little siblings to suffer the same mockery and humiliation that I did is unacceptable! To protect the smiles of my only family, I would do anything. Yet, life knows to shit on you when things are just getting good. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, author-san here! This is my first story, set up in a fantasy world. It's based on the medieval and steam era where magic is rare and alchemy is used widely used as a weapon by people. There would be lots of action, adventure, betrayal, tragedy, romance, etc. ahead. Warnings-The mc is a bit mean and foul-mouthed, introvert. There would be strong language and lots of monologue narration by the MC. The stories are fast-paced and progressing faster. The chapters update would be unstable, depending on my daily life. You would get fast updates... or slow. Also, English isn't my first language. So don't expect perfect grammar :( P.S. - I would like some constructive critique and feedback! It fills my motivation gauge and increases that rate of chapter/week. (/>3
