Sure, maybe you sometimes don't eat

And sometimes you stare at the mirror until you're not you

But you never thought of yourself as sick

Because in your mind

In your mind it was normal

You weren't told that this wasn't healthy

That not everyone counts their calories

Not everyone looks at food and thinks about the bile in their throat

Not everyone starves themselves till the feeling of hunger is ordinary

You were never told

Never taught that this isn't good

That this isn't a normal thing

You were never taught that you were sick

But you are sick

Like it or not

You are sick

But you just don't think of yourself as that

You don't think of yourself as sick
