Chapter Forty Six- Hate is a strong word
Two days later I couldn't even remember what happened on my birthday. Hangovers are not fun.
"So how was your Birthday?" Carson asked. We were video chatting.
I shrugged my shoulders "It was okay. Oh! Guess what I got!"
"What?!" He asked excited
"I got Hermione's actual time turner!" I stated smugly leaning back into the chair at Tom's desk. He was out walking Timber.
"No freaking way" Carson gaped
"Yes Emma found it, but Rupert and Dan gave it to me"
"I hate you. Your friends with the best people in the world"
"I know" I smiled tauntingly at him. "How's the family?" I asked
"Um okay...Clayton is well Clay... and Dad is Dad. You won't be getting any birthday money in the mail, he gets mad at us when we talk about you. You really pissed him off."
"Well he pissed me off, and I don't want his money anyway"
"How are you paying for everything?" Carson half laughed
"I'm actually not paying for anything, Tom is" I stated.
Carson scoffed "You're leaning on him too much Cas"
"I am not!"
"Your whole world is revolved around him"
"It is not!" I argued
"Tell me one thing that you have done lately that hasn't involved him or his friends...that's outside his house"
I was about to say something, but nothing came out. Had it really been that long?
"Exactly Cas, just be careful."
"I am careful"
"Uh oh gotta go" he said standing up leaning more into the camera "Dad's coming, love you bye"
And the image went blank.
I slowly closed my laptop. When was the last time I had been out of this house without anything that dealt with Tom?
I gave up thinking about it after awhile. I came up with nothing so I just let it go.
I leaned back into the chair and put my feet up on the desk, holding the precious time turner in my hands, marveling at it.
I sighed setting it down, and walked down stairs to get some water. Even though I said I stopped thinking about it, I couldn't. It was gnawing on my insides.

My phone started ringing the tone of 'Don't stop believing', I wasn't really in the mood to talk to anyo- Don't stop Believing? That's...That's Taylor's ring tone.
I tripped up the stairs as I rushed to get my phone that was resting on the bed.
"Hello?" I asked shocked.
"Cassie?" I heard Taylor's voice ask
"Oh Tay I've missed you so much! You and Danny, but you wouldn't answer my calls or anything-"
"Cassie listen to us" Danny's voice rang through the phone, strong and violent "We can't deal with you anymore."
"...deal with me?" My heart broke.
"Yes you are too involved with him, and we are sick of you trying to call us...if you hadn't noticed were not talking to you after everything you've done to us! Some best friend you were!" Danny said getting louder and louder.
"Cas" I heard Taylor's calming voice "You're not you anymore"
"Me? I'm still me!" I shouted on the verge of crying.
"No you're not! The Cassie I know would never give everything up for a guy. You gave up your job, you gave up your home, you gave up your friends...and now Carson says that you and your father are not even speaking! Cas you won't see sense. What are you going to do if Tom sees another girl he likes more than you?! Huh what are you going to do then?"
"He wouldn't do th-"
"He is an actor! They are unstable and wild"
"You have barely been around actors, not all of them are like that for your information"
"That is beside the point!' Danny screamed "The point is he has practically brain washed you. Your life is gone...your life is him, and that's not healthy Cas"
"Why does this have anything to do with us not being friends anymore? We have been friends for as long as I can remember. Think of all the good times we had"
"What about trust? You're not taking our advice"
"Because your advice is stupid!" I shouted, getting frustrated.
"No you're just horrible at relationships! For god's sake you gave up Will...if you're stupid enough to do that then you should get your heart broken!"

"Bloody Hell Danny! Will was beating me up literally and you never even noticed!" I shouted
"Now Tom's got you lying too, fan- freakin- tastic"
"Go to hell!" I shouted and slammed the phone shut.
A mixture of angry and sad tears flooded my face as I sat down on the end of the bed. Was what they say true? Have I changed? Is this bad that I gave up everything? Is this going too fast? What if this doesn't work out? What if Tom does find another of the million girls? Would my mother be mad? Would she agree with them? Should I try and go back to the way I use to be? Yes that's it! I should try and go back, just a little, try to recover whatever I lost...but would I lose Tom along the way? I need to talk to him.
I heard the front door shut. It could only be Tom with Timber. Dan went to visit his parents.
I wiped my tears away and straightened myself out before I walked toward the stairs.
I didn't have to walk down one step, before Tom noticed that something was wrong.
His eyes crinkled in confusion behind the hair that hung in his eyes. "What's...wrong?"
I sniffled a little. I wasn't going to cry. There was no reason to. Nothing bad was going to happen. Then why is my stomach screaming that this is dangerous territory?
"Can we talk for a minute?" I asked walking down the stairs, not taking my eyes off his so confused ones.
"Sure" He said slowly, as I came to the bottom and glided on to the floor, so that we were a reasonable distance away from each other.
"Taylor and Danielle called me today" I started.
"That's" He started out saying happy, until he remembered that I wasn't happy "That's great...isn't it?"
I shook my head a little, looking down at the floor, with my hands behind my back. "They say that I've changed"
"Changed?" He asked getting even more confused by the second.
"And I sort of think that they might be right" I looked up seeing his reaction.
"What...what are you saying" He breathed, fear creeping into his eyes.
"I want to talk about me...I don't know getting a job or something"
"Getting a job?" He said more forcefully, grinding his teeth. "Why do you need a job?"
"I need to be away from all of this for at least an hour a week."
"Are you saying that you don't like this? You don't like us being together?!"
"NO! I'm saying that I want to talk about...just talk about having a life away from you."
"You're going to go listen to those stupid friends of yours?!" He shouted appalled.
"Their right!" I yelled back.
"You shouldn't even listen to them. Hell you shouldn't even call them your friends! They don't know anything about you!"
"Oh and you do? You think you know everything about me?!" I was getting pissed off.
"I know more than them!" he shouted storming away from me.
"Oh My God Draco!" I shouted
He stopped dead in his tracks, and turned around glaring even more than he ever had at Emma. "Did you just call me Draco?!"
I balled my hands in fists, sighing "I meant Tom"
"No, you called me Draco. Draco is a god damn fictional character! Your just using me aren't you?!" He roared, advancing towards me.
"Using you?! Why the hell would I use you?" I shouted back.
He sighed a little, but was still pissed "You're not committing to this. You're not committing to us! You want to break this! It was fine!"
"Is it fine if I change in the process and don't even realize it?!" I shouted
He started pacing side to side in front of me. "You know that's the reason why Will did all that to you, you weren't committed!!" He shouted
I felt my heart break into a million pieces. It was like my heart fell out of my body; like I was standing in a pile of my own blood, drowning in it.
"I'm done" I said through my teeth at him, turning towards the door.
"What?!" he shouted
I opened the door, facing him and shouted "I HATE YOU!"
I slammed the door shut and didn't look back as I got into my car and drove.

A Tale of the Golden Crown
Life is unpredictable. If you turn left, you could meet the love of your life. Turn right, and be a millionaire. And if you think you are clever, go straight, only to be killed by brick-kun and reincarnate as an Heir to a Duchy. Which is fine as long you ignore plots, rivalries and struggles for power, but even if the tales of the Golden Crown are so many as stars in the sky, they all weigh the same in the end. Follow with me the story of Leonidas, as he tries to find his way in a Kingdom at the verge of a civil war and to find out, what the rules of his rule should be, so that his own crown would not crush him to death. And of course, conquest and plots! And action! I hope… Hi! The story is a little bit inspired by CK2 and Stronghold and serves two purposes: to better my writing skills and to have fun! So, I welcome grammatical criticism and pointing out plot holes, as I would want the story to make sense for my readers too! Have fun! 31.05.2022. Currently in Hiatus, as I hit a wall in writing conversations. So I will try something else and come back later to this story.
