Chapter Fifteen- Sleepover

Emma was ecstatic to go swimming. I was like what could be the harm of going swimming at night with three amazing new friends?

"Good thing I brought a bathing suit" Emma said when we were in my room as she was digging through her bag.

"Yeah I think I brought a bathing suit with me" I said searching through my closet.

I decided to look through my drawers while Emma was changing in my bathroom.

Finally I found it after digging around through a mess.

Emma came out and twirled while saying "how do I look?" she had a cute blue two piece on.

"Cute!" I said. She looked amazing in it.

"Now hurry up and get ready!" she ushered me in the bathroom.

I quickly put it on and looked in the mirror and froze. The bathing suit looked cuter when I wasn't wearing it. It was black and white strips with neon paint splatters all over it. Damn why do I have to be self conscious? Why can't I have the confidence Emma has? This was going to be a nightmare.

I opened the door a little and peaked out. "Hey Em?"

"Hmmm?" she answered. She was looking at something on my computer.

"Can you do me a favor and grab the jacket that is lying on my gym bag?"

She corked an eyebrow looking at me suspiciously and slowly said sure. Once she grabbed it she handed it to me.

I quickly shut the door and put the jacket on and I was half way zipping it up when she opened the door and gasped.

"Why are you wearing a jacket?" she asked putting her hands on her hips.

"It's cold outside?" I said but it sounded more like a question than an answer.

"It's not that cold" she said corking up another eye brow.

I sighed "I'm self conscious okay?"

She came up to me and unzipped what I had zipped and looked at me like I was crazy. "Cassie you look amazing"

Now it was my turn to look at her like she was crazy.

"I'm serious you look sexy"

I laughed "nice choice in words"

"You know what I mean"

"Would you just let me wear this?"

"Fine but you can't get in the pool wearing that"

There was a knock on the door. "Hey you guys almost ready?" Dan asked.

"Yeah we'll be there in a minute" Emma said shaking her head at me.

"Okay" Dan said and you could hear his footsteps fade away.

"Don't look at me like that!"I said.

"Your crazy Cassie and blind!" she said opening the door.

"Yeah because you're always the smart one right?" I said following her out into the hallway.

"I'm not the blonde one"

"What is with the blonde jokes today?!" I yelled in frustration.

She just shrugged.

I looked out the big glass windows and saw that Dan and Tom were talking by some chairs and Timber was in the pool swimming. I laughed at that. We climbed down the spiral stairs and before Emma opened the door she turned to me with a genuine smile on and said "you look amazing Cassie okay?"

I just nodded my head.

When we walked out of the little pool room. Daniel sighed "finally"

I had to hold in a gasp. I had failed to notice looking through the window that both of them were shirtless, and oh my god. Why did they all have to be so attractive?

Emma went to throw her shoes near one of the lawn chairs. While Dan happily jumped into the pool. I shakily walked behind Emma.

Tom caught my arm and asked "are you okay?"

I just looked at Emma, who was smiling a smirky smile at me and she said "yeah she is fine"

I nodded and continued to walk up to her.

I heard another splash signaling that Tom had jumped into the pool. Timber barked and the guys were laughing.

I sighed and took the jacket off setting it on the chair.

Emma elbowed me and gave me the thumbs up, and I just laughed.

We walked to the side of the pool where the steps are and stepped to the third step and sat down. The pool water felt really nice.

"You girls are no fun" Dan complained.

"We are girls we don't like getting all wet at once" Emma said defensively.

I just looked at her and smirked. "Speak for yourself" and I splashed her with water.

She squealed and looked at me like I was crazy. The guys were laughing as I dove in the water swimming away from her.

I swam behind Dan using him as a shield. And poked my head out of the water.

"Cassie!!" she said right in front of Dan now.

"I love you Em" I said sheepishly as I put my hands on Dan's shoulders blocking her completely.

She glared at me and Dan picked my legs up and wrapped them around his waist. "Hold on tight Cas"

He dove under the water and swam behind Tom. When we rose to the surface Tom said "what the hell?"

"You're the oldest" Dan said blocking Emma.

"Don't worry Dan I don't want you I want her!" she pounced and tickled me into the water. I laughed and squirmed around. Until I couldn't breathe and broke through to the surface.

Then we all started laughing.

It had been about an hour and we were sitting under the cave talking and laughing. We started playing truth or dare. But it wasn't anything juicy or exciting.

When we decided to get out. It was one in the morning, and I wasn't even tired.

"Why don't we watch a movie?" Dan suggested as we were drying off.

"What movie?" Emma asked.

"How about Twilight?" Dan asked.

"No you will just laugh through the whole movie" Tom said disapproving.

"I'm in the mood for a comedy though" Dan pouted. I laughed.

Tom rolled his eyes and said "fine"

When we were in my room I decided to change into my pj's and so did Emma.

I was fixing my hair in the bathroom. When she bombarded me.

"Hey Cas"

"Hey what?"

"What do you think of the guys?"

"There amazing and funny why?" I asked not really liking the way this conversation was heading.

"What about Tom?"

"What about him?" I asked I tried not to blush as I remembered the way he looked with his shirt off.

She sighed in frustration "what do you think of him? And tell me the truth Cassie"

I looked at myself in the mirror then turned to her.

"he is amazing, smart, sweet, funny, considerate, has the most amazing blue eyes, can make my heart melt when he plays guitar, can be infuriating, and annoying but so nice at the same time, and did I mention that he is crazy attractive?" I said and she blinked back stunned. "Is that enough?" I asked.

"Cassie come here" she said sitting on my bed and patted the space next to her.

"What?" I asked.

"You like him don't you?" she said burning curiosity in her eyes.

"Like that?" I asked she nodded "well I don't know, maybe" I shrugged.

She looked at me like I wasn't telling the whole truth but then stood up and said "well lets go"

I followed her into the theater room, and was bothered the whole time. Did I like Tom like that? I think I did, but I couldn't tell. Maybe time will tell.

Dan put the movie in and was laughing the entire time. I wasn't that big of a fan of the movie. The books are another hand entirely. But I was kind of distracted the entire time of the movie. I just kept glancing at Tom.

Tom Felton. My heart would beat faster around him. I would be blown away when he smiled. I would hide behind him for protection. And he was one of my best friends. I think that like didn't even cover it. I think the word love did though.
