《Ennard X Reader: Tubes and Wires》Getting Down To Business

William strode down the dim hallway, the Module Launcher occupying his left hand. An angry scowl was plastered on his face as his feet repeatedly laid against the old tile flooring beneath him. He turned a corner and then halted as Wolf skidded to a stop before him, panting. "William..." The canine breathed. He then raised his brow. "They escaped... How?" Wolf asked. William sighed. "They crawled through a vent duct. I can't remember there ever even being one in that room." The man answered. Wolf gave a nod and then noticed the gun that William currently held. He eyed it questioningly. "The Module Launcher? What are you going to do with that?" William couldn't help but crack an awful grin at the question. He eyed the gun and then chuckled. "The better question would be 'What have I done with it'. Let's just say that Ennard didn't get rid of Springtrap like I'd wanted." He grinned. Wolfs eyes widened. He was a bit shocked that William went against his plan- And wasted the last Power Module on an animatronic that hardly even functioned anymore. "You shot Springtrap with it? But... That was the last remaining Module! I thought you were going to use it on Fredbear!" The wolf angrily fretted. William scoffed. "Oh, shut it! I'll have time to make another one, with that old bear trapped in that box... I've been dragging that rabbit around far too long- So I got rid of him... At least, I will have gotten rid of him." William spat. Wolf growled but then tilted his head, curious of what the man meant. William placed the gun in the back pocket of his pants. "That Module was meant to be used on Fredbear... But I needed to finally get rid of Springtrap. So I used it on him instead. The Modules power will override Springtraps system. It will weaken him until it strikes his core- And then it will offline that salvaged piece of scrap metal for good..." William grinned. Wolf did the same and gave a rumble of laughter. "Brilliant, William!" He barked. William chuckled and combed his messy hair back. "Exactly, Wolf... And, since it seems you're the only animatronic I can rely on, go and fetch those two runaways... And..." William paused before grinning.
"Feel free to offline them for me."

Yenndo heaved as he trailed closely behind Ennard- Who was running every which way through the maze-like building. They had no clue where Springtrap was, but they couldn't stop now. They could only hope he was alright. "Why doesn't it end? There's no exit!" Yenndo yelled. Ennard was heaving up front. He could feel his legs growing numb from running so hard, and he doubted that Yenndos felt any different. "I don't know! But we can't turn back- With William knowing that we've escaped, he's bound to send one of those creeps after us!" He called back. A pained whine escaped Yenndos mouth at that answer. It wasn't what he wanted to hear. His legs ached and his air intake system was burned raw from the cold air that swiftly entered and exited his tubes. Ennard had heard the endos distress and came to a halt, Yenndo doing the same without hesitation. He heaved. "...Oh... Finally..." The endo sighed. If endoskeletons like them could sweat, they'd be drenched like dishrags with it. Ennard spared a quick glance down the dim hallway behind them and gave a small sigh of relief. It was empty. "Alright... We'll take a short break, and then we've gotta get outta here. If those lunatics catch us... Then I wouldn't expect William to just throw us into a storage room this time..." He quietly stated. Yenndo gave a worried frown at that, but then pressed his sore frame against the wall beside him. Being chased or not, the break was much needed- For both of them. But they couldn't stay there long.

An old truck drove through the snow, a dually from the 80s. The black and red vehicle drove pass a park, which was desolate of any children since it was almost midnight. The driver of said truck tapped the steering wheel as he drove, his eyes glancing to and fro as he tried to remember his destination. He hadn't been there in a while. Another turn and he was on a snowed over side road, which would've been an old dirt road had it been summer or late spring. The man gave a sigh as he drove down the pathway. He seemed unsure of his directions for a few moments and was considering turning around. Or he was until his eyes glanced at a sign that stood up ahead in a small clearing. The man's eyes widened. The sign was faded, unused for years- And he knew it... "Huh... I figured this place was still here..." He silently said to himself. A small smile crossed his face- Or a relieved smile did. He'd been looking for this place for a long time. The man pulled into the old empty parking lot and put the truck in park. He switched off the ignition before unbuckling his seat belt and then stepping out of the dually. The truck door was shut and the man strode up to the small building. His longing gaze was evident as his hand raised to trace along the faded letters of the buildings door. His eyes lowered to read said faded letters. "Hm... Circus Baby's Pizza World... I thought I'd never find it..."

Baby strained as she pushed a large pipe to the side- A pipe that had fallen from the large hole that William had made days ago. And in the roofing of her showroom, no less... She had been busy fixing so much lately, from wires in Balloras Gallery, all the way to a faulty ventilation system in Funtime Auditorium. Williams little 'Pleased-Entry' had caused more damage than everyone had thought. Poor Lolbit had been backed up with doing multiple repairs on Funtime Foxy and Funtime Freddy, ever since William had attacked them that is. The only break he got was when his system needed a recharge. It really made him miss Yenndo. The endo was a big help, and Lolbit regretted being so rude to him before the four of you left. And now, Lolbit was helping Baby with repairs on her showroom. The fox grunted as he tossed some heavy cables to the side, alongside the pipe that Baby had just moved. Baby wiped her brow and sighed. "My... If this doesn't make you want to short a circuit or two then I don't know what will... But, thank you, Lolbit. It looks so much better in here. Ballora apologized that she couldn't help much, but she did say she would help with repainting." Baby said. Lolbit gave an understanding nod and then dusted his hands off. "Of course, Baby. I enjoy helping when and where ever I can. And I appreciate Ballora informing you of that. Painting does seem more of her thing." He replied. Baby gave a smile in return. She dusted her skirt off and then did the same with her hands. That was all the work they'd be doing tonight. A good night of recharge was going to be much appreciated. "Well, how is Funtime Foxy and Funtime Freddy doing? They seem to be much better." Baby asked. Lolbit perked his ear to acknowledge the female clown. "They're both doing great so far. Funtime Foxy can fully use his voice box now, and Funtime Freddy is pretty much in proper condition. I had to tell him not to attempt petting Y/Ns fish though... Again." The fox chuckled. It was true- Funtime Freddy had made multiple attempts at petting your fish, but none of his attempts succeeded. The fish always disappeared into their hidey-places. The robotic bear had actually introduced Funtime Foxy to your pets, too. And, of course, the fox loved Kevin. The two had been taking turns caring for your pets while you were absent, but they enjoyed doing it. And they missed you- Everyone did. Baby gave a gentle laugh at that. "Oh, really? Well, I knew they would've liked her pets." Baby then gave a sigh. "...I just hope they're all ok, Y/N and the others..." Baby's saddened tone caused Lolbit to glance at her. A small frown gloomed on his face. He knew Baby was worried about the four of you. William was a crazy man, and was very unpredictable, and she hoped you were alright. Lolbit smiled and then gently placed his hand on Babys shoulder. "Circus Baby... I'm sure they're alright. We all know that Ennard wouldn't let anything happen to her. Nor to the others." He softly spoke. Baby smiled back in return and then turned to exit the showroom. Lolbit followed suit, but then came to a pause as his ears perked upwards, having heard something in the opposite room. His brow raised blankly as he looked at Baby, who had caught onto the sound as well. The female clown paused. "That sound... Is that...?" "The elevator..." Lolbits quiet voice finished. The fox cut in front of Baby and quickly made his way to the Control Module vent entrance.

"Someone's coming."

The man struggled to catch his balance as the elevator shook and then came to an abrupt stop. He nearly flinched as the elevator doors yanked themselves opened, signaling that the short descent had ended. With a short grumble about 'That old rusty elevator is a health hazard', the man made the crawl towards his main destination. He exited the vent with a grunt and then dusted himself off after standing to his feet. "Oh, brother... That was a trip..." The man grumbled as he straightened his jacket. A small smile was fastened on his face when he looked up- Or was fastened on his face when he looked up.
Baby and Lolbit stood motionless as they stared at the man- Who'd just came out of nowhere. The man stared back at them, and a single blink from him broke the friction as Baby rushed to grab a wrench from the file cabinet beside her. The man frantically threw his hands up in surrender and began stuttering. "W-whoah there! I-I mean no harm, hehe... Uh... M-my apologies, Circus Baby. Aha..." He nervously smiled. A bead of sweat could've ran down the mans face at the moment. Baby lowered the 'weapon' she currently held and raised a brow. "...H...How do you know my name...?" She spoke. The man lowered his hands and smiled. "W-well, uh... You see, I'm actually looking for someone. He used to own this place? A long while ago, anyways." Baby and Lolbit glanced at each other as the man continued. "I've been trying to find him for a while. I don't want to raise any alarm, but I'm afraid that he might be trying to create something horrible, and has been for some time. I set out to stop him but I could never find his location, which eventually led me here... His name's... William Afton... And... M-My name is Henry Emily."

Metal claws pounded against the tiled floor. Sharp teeth barred and shined underneath the dim hallway lights as Wolf ran, eager to get his hands on the two escaped endos. 'I'll chew on then like a bone- I'll make sure they regret breaking out of that storge room. William will get what he wants...' His claws scrapped the tile as he cut a sharp turn. Then his nostrils caught onto a scent... A familiar scent. He slowed his paste and then peered around. A few jugs of gasoline laid against the nearby wall and Wolf took a deep inhale, almost coming to a complete stop. No... That wasn't the smell... He walked along slowly, sniffing the ground, and then came to a stop. "Hm..." He thought. That was where the smell was coming from. Wolf curled his lips and growled lowly. "Springtrap." The canine snarled and then glanced around. 'If William injected him with that module, then he should still be here... Unless his offlining is a slow process like William had said. He must've moved. Hm... No matter. I've got to find those other two right now...' Wolf jumped past the spot he was observing and then continued following the scent of Yenndo and Ennard. He knew too well that the two were more than likely staying together. If Springtrap wasn't offlined, then he'd deal with that later, but now he needed to follow Williams orders. So on he marched.
From the shadows, two silver eyes watched carefully as the grey wolf ran out of sight and then fully disappeared. A relieved sigh was barely auditable, followed by a hiss of pain. Those two silver orbs belonged to none other than Springtrap. A weak hand raised to press against his tattered chest, right where he had been injected with the Power Module. A low groan left his mouth at the jolt of pain he was feeling. It felt like he was being electrocuted, just over and over again. He winced and pressed himself against the wall. The Power Module was slowly progressing its damage on the rabbits system. How long it would take to fully put him down, he had no idea, but William knew it wouldn't deactivate him instantly- The sick man loved seeing others suffer. But the rabbit wasn't just gonna lay down and rust. He refused to. Springtrap growled in pain as he forced himself up onto his feet, using the wall for balance as he began pushing himself down the hall. William had to be stopped. Once and for all this time. 'I can't let him succeed with this... He's hurt so many... Too many... He took everything from me... My joy... My life... Fredbear... I won't let him take that from the others... I won't let him.' Springtrap came to a turn and stalled for a moment as his vision blurred and then refocused. His balance was getting horrible. He would be sweating right now if he could... The rabbit glanced along the wall, thinking. Thinking of something- Anything that he could do to stop William. He couldn't do much, or anything, with the state he was in. His system was slowly shutting down, and he knew it... Springtrap rubbed his brow and then began glancing around, trying to find an item or two of use. His silver eyes peered until they landed on the color red. Springtrap went still and then squinted his eyes, trying to figure out what he was looking at. Then it hit him. The rabbit dragged himself over to the vacant red containers and registered a weak smile after discovering that said containers were indeed full of liquid.
"Gasoline..."

"We can't just leave him- What if he's seriously hurt?" "Yenndo, I don't know! If we go back, then we'll get torn to bits. Springtrap might've gotten out by now. We need to do the same. It's the only thing we can do." Ennard argued. Yenndo clenched his jaw and lowered his ears with dismay. "Then what are we gonna do if we escape and he's not outside waiting for us? Betrayed us before or not, he risked his scruff helping us escape- Twice!" Yenndo retorted. Ennard grumbled and then paused his walking. He turned to Yenndo ready to throw his own salt back, but then thought the endos words over. His expression softened. "Then... Then I'll come back and find him..." He spoke. Yenndo, who was ready to engage in another argument, slowly closed his agape jaw and sighed. He didn't expect that reply. "...Well, then... Good..." He replied. Ennard frowned and then turned to continue walking, merely missing a stray desk as he did so. Yenndo followed suit and gazed at the desk as he walked by. On it was a long metal bar for reasons that Yenndo didn't know or even want to ask about, but he ignored it and continued walking behind Ennard. It wasn't a moment later that loud running could be heard. The two Endos turned and froze as they saw a blur of grey plowing towards them. Yenndo let out a terrified cry and took off running, not even noticing that Ennard hadn't moved an inch. Yenndo turned and then ran into a hallway. "Ennard, this way! C'mon, we gotta go! We-" The endo bear skidded to a halt after glancing behind him and realizing he was alone. He swirled around. "E-Ennard?!"
Wolfs claws cut through the floor as he bolted towards the endoskeleton before him. Ennard was froze, or he seemed like he was. His blue eyes stayed on Wolf as the canine animatronic launched himself forward, poised and ready to latch his sharp claws down onto his prey. Only to have Ennard duck and roll out from underneath him. Wolf yelled as his arms swiped and clenched around air and his large frame came crashing to the floor. Ennard sprang up and then darted towards the desk from earlier. His metal hands flew forward and then took hold of the lengthy metal pole that laid across the desks' surface. By the time he spun around, Wolf was already face to face with him. He was too slow. Ennard threw the bar up just in time to avoid having his face bitten as the canines teeth came slashing down onto the cold metal instead. Ennard cried out in shock at the forceful impact of the bite, it almost snapped the pole in half. Wolf snarled and began violently shaking his head side to side as if he had rabbies. Ennard struggled to hold the piece of metal before the rapid movements threw him off balance and sent him falling backwards and over the desk. The metal bar slipped from his grasp as Wolf reeled back and harshly slung his head sideways, sending the bent piece of metal flying from his slobery maw. Ennard stared at the discarded object with horror as it clanged to the ground. Maybe his plan of attacking the awful canine with said object wasn't such a great idea after all... Ennards eyes shot back to stare at Wolf with dread. Now he didn't know what to do. After realizing that the endo was rendered helpless at the moment, the grey animatronic smiled grimly and slowly made an advance towards his target. Ennard frantically scooted backwards trying to get to his feet but they seemed to slip against the floor like he couldn't get any grip. Wolf laughed. "Hahahaaa~ It seems you didn't think this through, Ennard..." He growled. Wolf raised himself on his haunches and poised a large paw for attack, until he heard someone run up beside him. Wolf couldn't turn in time to see Yenndo grab the bent bar and lunge at him with it. "GRAAAAAHHHH!" Yenndo let out a roar as he swung the pole with all his might, successfully clashing the object with the animatronics head- Breaking the bar in half. Wolf howled in agony as the force sent him rolling sideways and into the wall. Yenndo threw the other half of the metal pole to the side and then rushed over to jerk Ennard up onto his feet. He waisted no time in shoving the endoskeleton forward. "GO, GO, GO! That won't keep him down long! GO!" Yenndo yelled. Ennard stumbled forward and allowed Yenndo to take the lead. The two raced ahead with no sign of Wolf chasing them. "Ennard, this way! C'mon!" The endo bear called as he disappeared and then ran through a doorway. Ennard followed him into the dark area. He could vaguely make out where he was going, but something told him that the two were near an exit.

What equates to skipping the tutorial, Thoren finds himself stuck in a level 50 instanced dungeon. no food no water no weapon only the company of an imp. "I'm Screwed" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This story uses the system derived by Puddles4263 in Randidly Ghosthound. I've incorporates the Path's system into the leveling of this story. Some of the beginning paths will be similar or the same as I thought that the starting paths were very logical on how a system should start. The stories will be completely different as the characters and story arcs will be completely different. Again, thank you Puddles for allowing me to use your system, really appreciate it! I also wanted to thank ProFound Magician. Has a lot of insight into a story development and as his system is based on Ghosthound, I saw a some beginning stage skills that should be thought of in a character just starting out. If you haven't yet read Ghosthound or Genesis System you're in for a real treat when you do! Thank you both I hope my use is seen as an homage in the beginning. Hopefully my story can live up to the system.
8 82The New Community
In the not too distant future, the world is settling down after world war 3, recovering and rebuilding. From the ruins, new communities and governments arise, along with Talents, people with extraordinary abilities. Amongst the groups is the Community, based in Europe, an inclusive group of towns that values everyone, regardless of Talent status. Leading the recruitment charge is Zoe, a powerful technomancer, one of the first generation of Talents. On her adventures, what will happen? Your votes will decide. A/N: I'll update chapters when I get to places where I feel it's right, I don't know where to go and want some direction or would like to have you help with the narrative in some way. Having others make choices forces me to be creative and I think that's when I'm at my best. Keep an eye out for polls in post chapter notes, they usually last 2 days. As always, love each other, and know I am grateful for every single person who reads my works.
