Guild day. As usual. The kids were shipping each other or pranking each other, Cana was in a corner, making out with Bacchus, you and Gajeel continued with your guitar practices, and everyone was about their own business.

That was until Avril, Nashi and Storm blew open the door and came into the guild, shouting and bickering about a flier that Nashi held.

"Yes we should totally join the grand magic games! I mean heck! Who wouldn't wanna beat some butt?" Nashi smirked, punching the air.

"I don't think it's a good idea to be so far away from home for such a long time," Storm whimpered.

"What a coward! Don't be such a wuss! It'll be worth it, I mean, we get 3,000,000 jewel!" Avril said with sparkles in her eyes.

"What's up, kiddos?" Natsu greeted the three teens, ruffling Nashi's hair.

"Nothing much, we just came back from a small job and saw this!" Nashi held up the flier.

Natsu read it out loud. "Grand Magic Games; Junior edition. Seems cool!"

"I don't see why we shouldn't join," Makarov overheard, sipping on some booze.

"Let's do it!" Avril shouted.

"But, we need to work with your skills." Natsu recommeded.

"I'll hold a meeting," Makarov sighed.

"Why'd you gather us, gramps?" Gray asked.

"Because we are joining the Grand Magic Games once again, only this year it's for the youngsters." Makarov said. "I'm here to let all of you know who I've chosen to take part."

"C'mon tell us!" Nashi said, anxious.

"I've chosen," Makarov states. "-Avril, Gabriel, Nashi, Storm, Reiki and Rosemary. Liz is backup. Justin, in case anything goes wrong, you will also take part."

"Aw, yeah!" Avril shouted, happy about being chosen.

"Now I've gathered everyone else here because the kids still haven't gotten their magic under control. You will help them home their skills. Starting Today!"

"Great!" You chirped. "I still wanna see your magic." You said, referring to Gabriel and Avril.

"Rosemary uses Heavenly Body magic. Jellal isn't here to coach her and I can't help. Who's gonna help her?" Erza said concerned.

"Who said?" Someone said from behind her.

Jellal stood behind the crowd.

"Jellal!" Erza chirped, running up to hug Jellal.

"All set?" Makarov asked.

"Gajeel," you whispered. "I don't think Avril should take part,"

"Don't worry, (y/n). She can fight well. if anything goes wrong, she'll be able to handle it. Trust me." Gajeel reassured.

All of the kids had wonky magic.

Nashi had Fire Dragon Slayer powers, and doesn't really take anything from her mother. Although, because she is a Gemini, she can duplicate herself.

Storm has a mix between ice-make and water magic.

Raiden has Lightning Dragon Slayer powers, and two takeovers that can enhance his magic.

Liz and Justin both had multiple takeovers.

Reiki uses Requip and Rosemary, as mentioned, uses Heavenly Body.

You, Avril, and Gabriel started working on magic near an opening in the forest.

"So Gabriel, how many metals can you use?" You asked.

"So far, Steel, Iron, Silver, Copper, and Titanium." He said.

"Wow, that's still a lot." You muttered. "How about you, Avril? How many dragon slayer forms can you take over?"

"Well, I can use Fire, Ice, Earth, Iron, Wind, Steel, Lightning, White, Shadow, Agility, Celestial, Audio, Technology, Water, Script, Wood, and," Avril stopped. "Dammit I forgot one."

"She forgot one?" You muttered.

"You forgot two," Gabriel said. "Floral and Tactical."

"Oh yea!" Avril chirped. "Those."

"Ok, I lost you at Earth." You chuckled. 'she has to have more,' You thought.

"Ok let's get started!"

The whole day, you couldn't stop thinking about Avril. Is that why she was born overpowered? Is that why she was a target? You had to find out.
