《Relief of Guilt》Justice

For the next two days, whenever Godzilla wasn't managing the restoration of Titanville, she was weeping for the losses of Cyber-Zilla, Otachi, and other Titan's that have either not been found or confirmed dead. Sometimes, Gojirin had walked into her room where they'd cry together with Kong occasionally checking up on them.
Usually, when Godzilla could stop sobbing she'd ask questions about the fleeting romance between Gojirin and Otachi, and Gojirin would stop to answer. Eventually, they'd break down and start crying again.
The morning of the third day, Godzilla, her boyfriend, and their friends took a train to the port and they were soon on a boat bound for Alielot among many other titan's that wanted to witness the trial of Ghidorah, the former co-ruler of the Alien Kingdom. When Godzilla remembered that they were such, it was hard to process that their trusted leader had attacked and killed in her own land.
As Godzilla leaned against Kong - despite their size difference - and looked away from the window, she noticed that Zilla and Komodithrax were not sitting together. Instead, Zilla sat in the upper left corner of the seating area and Komodithrax sat in the lower right corner of it.
"Kong, do you think they broke up?" Godzilla gulped.
"Broke up? No." Kong kept looking at the floor. "But something as devastating as this is sure to hurt relationships."
Godzilla knew that this was worse than anything the Earth Defenders has faced before. Moonhidorah never killed in her rage, and neither had Bathra or even Destroyah. Ghidorah was the one out of all immortals and leaders that went to this extreme, and Godzilla knew that many titan's would study and analyse them as a historical figure, wondering what motivated them to succumb to evil.
Was...was it unrequited love? Did I lead them on?
Godzilla wasn't ready to answer the question she asked herself, and just sat in silence as the ship made its arrival in Alielot.
Everyone stepped off the ship and went through a line of advanced security that lead to the castle. Every possession was to be put in one of the lockers before each titan walked into the recently dusted and beige courtroom. -Kong's axe having been made an exception by both Godzilla and Moonhidora- It hadn't been used in centuries, but that was going to change.
Ghidorah stood in the corner of the room with their necks and wings restricted, staring at all the titan's coming in from the tall cage they were placed in. Every time a new titan walked into the room, Ghidorah perked up in hopes for Godzilla to walk in. Unfortunately, Moonhidora had suspected their anticipation and tied their muzzles shut until the trial was almost over. No matter, they still had a chance to speak in their defence later on.
They saw Queen Mothra walk in, her determined stride turning into a hesitant walk as she noticed her fellow alpha in the cage. King Dagon, who was walking beside her, whispered in her ear, and she resumed her stride. Ghidorah's confidence wavered, knowing that the Alpha's would likely rule unanimously in favour of a severe punishment if they didn't come up with a strategically planned speech that'd win back the hearts of their beloved and their sisters, as well as one more Alpha Titan. If that worked, then perhaps a much lighter punishment would be ruled from 3-2 of the Alpha's.
Countless hours had passed planning away in her mind when the great and beautiful Queen Godzilla walked in the room with Moonhidora on her right side and Kong on her left. But Ghidorah hardly noticed them, never taking their eyes off their one and only.

The five Alpha's took their places behind their respective judge platforms on the left of Ghidorah's cage. Moonhidora stood behind the highest platform in the middle, Mothra sat on her right next to Ghidorah's cage, and Hokmuto, Femuto and Godzilla sat on her left. Godzilla being the farthest from her former co-teacher.
"The trial of Ghidorah begins." Moonhidora announced to the Titan's seated in front of them. " Ghidorah is on trial for setting Titanville on fire, destroying countless buildings, and taking the lives of 15 residents."
When the whole audience gasped, Ghidorah held back a shrug. Only 15 lives? That didn't sound that bad. Swaying her favourite titans would be easier than they thought.
"First, we will allow all witnesses who wish to speak to do so. Queen Godzilla will go last, and then King Ghidorah will be allowed to speak in their defence. Unlike with the witnesses, any of the three of us are allowed to interrupt King Ghidorah if w-we wish." Moonhidora explained.
Ghidorah was relieved to see that their sisters were being tested by this trial. Maybe they could use the remaining love their sister had to their own advantage.
But first, they had to tolerate the several hours of witnesses wailing for their lost loved ones. Especially the dreaded hour of Zilla screaming her lungs out about Ghidorah killing her father. Ghidorah rolled her eyes.
That old hag would've died the next day anyway.
Komodithrax approached Zilla in the middle of her sobs, and Zilla inched away from her, burying her own face in her claws. After Komodithrax and Kong described their experiences of the wildfire, Godzilla finally spoke.
"Ghidorah, my former teachers and my first boyfriend." Godzilla revealed, knowing that their former relationship was hardly a secret anymore. "I never thought in a million years that I'd be standing here, staring at you in your cage. I thought that our relationship was that of teachers and their student, and you'd always be proud of me in a non-romantic way. But that changed, and I stayed with you. I didn't know what love was, so I had no reason to leave."
"But then I met Kong, and despite the horrible things you've said about him, his scars, and his past, I could never love you like I love him." Godzilla confessed. "Before beginning our relationship, I promptly broke up with you. But you threatened to destroy Titanville and hurt my friends, before promising that you wouldn't. Well, we both know who the liar is now."
"Queen Moonhidora, she killed one of the Elements of Nature. It was Otachi." Godzilla revealed. She could hear titans whispering, and Gojirin whimpering, but she never took her eyes off Moonhidora. "They killed kids and old titans, so remember that before you think of giving them a light sentence."
Ghidorah's eyes nearly bulged out of their heads. They were trying to restrain themselves from backing up into the corner of the cage. It would take a miracle for them to get out of this situation.
"Now, it is time for King Ghidorah to defend themselves." Moonhidora used her magic to remove the rope from their brother's muzzles. "Well, you monster?"
"I...Godzilla is clearly grieving." Ghidorah managed to say. "As is all of Titanville. But after a few centuries, none of this will matter, for all the other titan's in this room will be dead. That may sound cruel, but you know it's true, dear sisters. Godzilla, our mistake was that we had too much faith in you, so we gave you so much power. We had hoped you'd make the right decision to willingly love us in return for all the things we gave you, yet you still denied us. You're a smart female, Goji. You know that Kong will be dead in the blink of an eye, but we will be here forever."

"And you could never stop loving us, sisters." Ghidorah pointed out. "And we will never stop calling you that, cause that is who you are. Our sisters. So we ask you from the bottom of our heart, put the whimpers of mortal titans aside, and hear us out. We will spend every moment of eternity making up for the horrible words we've said. It is Godzilla who needs to be stripped of her power and learn humility, not we. Please, just give us a second chance, and you won't regret it~"
The last two words that Ghidorah spoke trickled with a temptation that sent shivers throughout Moonhidora's spines. Moonhidora almost brought up old memories that they didn't want to remember about the beast that was once their brothers. But...they couldn't. Those days were over now, and never to be brought up again. No, Ghidorah could never truly love, they just wanted control over everything. Them, Godzilla, The Alien and Defender Factions. Moonhidora had enough.
"E-Even if we wanted too, the others will still rule in favour of harsh punishment." Moonhidora winced. "But we don't, we never want to see you in power ever again. We don't want you to ever see the sun again."
"Moony." Ghidorah stared at them. "Please don't have one of your fits. We know that you'll forgive us quite easily, it's what family does. Goji, our love, do you have anything to say after all we've been through?"
Godzilla looked at the group of witnesses, but not at her former teacher. Soon, this would all be over.
"You're done." Moonhidora suddenly wrapped the rope around their brother's muzzles once more, then they turned to the other Alpha's. "Come outside with us. We will decide Ghidorah's sentence out there."
Two guards stood in front of Ghidorah's cage, and the five Alpha's stepped out into the castle hallway.
"I never thought that they could do such a thing." Mothra whimpered. "Surely their sorry?"
"No, they are not." Moonhidora glared at their Moth counterpart. "With the rare murderers that we have prosecuted in our faction, we usually sentence them to death or life in prison. But I believe that death would be too kind for our brother's."
"You don't think we should imprison her for eternity, do you?" Femuto gasped. "No-Titan deserves that, not even Ghidorah themselves."
"Perhaps we could strip them of their immortality then?" Godzilla suggested. "With our combined powers, we could drain Ghidorah of their Alpha power and revert them to a regular titan again. Then they'd be facing the same punishment as any other murderer."
"And they'd lose their position as co-rulers, never allowed to see what Titanya becomes without them." Moonhidora nodded. "We think that is a great idea, Godzilla. Of course, we will have to stand during the day in their place, but we'd rather take on more responsibility than let them keep their power."
"That's why I also believe we need to find a replacement for them, so the world remains balanced with 6 Alpha Titans." Godzilla's eyes widened slightly before she started grinning. "I have a perfect idea for their replacement."
Ghidorah looked at the floor, ignoring all the glares from the Titanville citizens until they heard Moonhidora open the door. They had hoped that they had managed to sway three of the Alpha's, but when she saw the glare in Moonhidora's eyes, all their hopes plummeted into nothing.
"We all together deem Ex-King Ghidorah as guilty of multiple murders and the destruction of a major city, and they are sentenced to the removal of their Alpha abilities, their position as co-ruler, and life in prison." Moonhidora announced.
Several of Titanville's witnesses grinned and clapped, some were crying with happiness. But Ghidorah felt anything but joy, this wasn't supposed to happen! They were supposed to be able to spend their life with Godzilla!
Ghidorah tried to speak, but the ropes around their muzzles made it impossible. They looked at Godzilla, who no longer refused to look at them, instead she stood tall with a growing smug smile. Her tail was waving about as she looked to Moonhidora.
"Of course, the world needs to remain balanced with 6 Alpha Titans." Moonhidora looked at Godzilla. "So, we have a warrior and lover that will make a perfect Alpha."
Both Kong and Ghidorah had the same face after that. They couldn't be serious!
"M-Me!" Kong asked from his place in the Audience surprised. Moonhidora smiled and teleported him so he landed in Godzilla's lap. Now wearing a Royal Suit identical to Ghidorah's. "You've shown yourself worthy of being an Alpha. Being the first to stand to an Alpha. Let alone six. Your Intellect will be invaluable to the world. And despite the odds you stand your ground no matter the challenge. You King Kong, have made it clear you deserve this position." They said, the entire audience cheered at the speech, and Godzilla smiled down at her Boyfriend-soon-to-be-King.
That was Ghidorah's breaking point, they suddenly wielded their heads against the cage and kicked wildly against the cage bars. In their desperate movements, the rope around their muzzles slowly loosened until they fell off.
"YOU DARE CHOOSE A SCARRED MONKEY?!" Ghidorah howled at the top of their lungs.
A black spell shot out from Moonhidora's mouths and into Ghidorah's chest. Ghidorah's pupils turned to dots as their movements completely stopped.
"We have no time to lose." Moonhidora smirked. "Guards, if you'll please get this cage to the castle."
It was a simple process to take Ghidorah's Alpha energy and distribute it among the Alpha's, as well as Kong. As soon as Moonhidora donated some of their ex-brother's former energy to Godzilla's boyfriend, Kong turned into a ball of light for a few seconds, before turning into a 120 Meter Alpha. His once scarred face was now nearly scarless, minus a few over his eyes, his axe was now as tall as he once was, and his newly gained beard blew in the breeze coming through the window.
"King Kong you say huh?" Kong asked, staring down at his hands while feeling the newly acquired power flowing through his veins. "I doubt I will ever get used to that. But now, I have the power to protect all of you. It feels right, I planned on it before, now it's that much easier."
Another flash of light emitted from Kong's eyes. Godzilla grinned as she could sense the newly acquired aura from Kong. An aura of Comfort and Protection. His true talent.
Ghidorah, now 15 Meters tall with green fur on their back, necks, and heads. Were escorted out of the room, back to the prison cell they would spend the rest of their lives in.
"Can we just call you two mates already? It's obvious you plan on spending eternity with one another." Mothra said as Kong and Godzilla looked at one another. The latter then walked up to him and hugged him, nuzzling his chest. "If we were to be, I certainly wouldn't complain." she whispered. "Neither would I." he replied. "Then let's look into making that official." Femuto giggled. The two lovebirds smiled and sealed that deal with a kiss.
King Kong, Queen Godzilla's mate spent the first few days in Alielot to help Moonhidora adjust to the new lifestyle they had to live. Eventually, Rodan and Angirus volunteered to stay with Moonhidora full-time for emotional support, and helping them with the daytime routines as well.
Godzilla's eyes fluttered open and she immediately smiled at the sight of her mate laying on the bed beside her. She nuzzled up tighter against his side, and he responded by shifting and pulling her closer. Resting her head on his chest, Godzilla smiled and fell asleep again.
Ghidorah had tried to control her, with everything from fake gifts, to vile threats. Yet Godzilla persisted against them, fighting for the true love of her life. The King sleeping beside her now.
With Ghidorah gone, the world was blooming and healthy again, and everyone from Zilla and Komodithrax, to Godzilla and Kong, were all living their best lives.

8 83Casa do Diaño: The Fool
As Thomas Hobbes once said, "Humans are driven by a perpetual and restless desire for power." Given the heavily moral standards society has placed on its inhabitants for centuries, it's no wonder many people deny their internal need to be in control of something. "Oh, we do not want to rule the world at all! We just want to live happy and die happy!" Of course, the irony there is that, by wanting a happy future, you are actually projecting your own desires and opinions into what the world should be like. Hence your inner monarch banging his/her scepter for all their subjects to hear. Though to be fair, this is a pretty small, small example. Why settle for small? Why not go the extra mile and become that vicious monarch pounding his scepter at his feet? This is the story of a young man by the name of Genghis Dillinger Boy. There are quite a few words that can describe Genghis. Anarchist. Libertine. Criminal. Psychopath. He has denied the moral standards society has set for him and constantly lives his life seeking more and more power. Once an unexpected turn occurs in his life, he uses it as an excuse to burn his bridges and move him and his bride to a mysterious island known as Casa do Diaño. Genghis vows to burn the old world to the ground and watch as his brand new world arises from the ashes. But what if he's biting off more than he can chew? After all, monsters like Genghis are not the only kind of monsters lurking in the House of the Devil...

8 65The Ramayana - Lakshmila's POV
We have read The Ramayana as kids and always knew it to be the story of Rama and his consort Sita. Every character has an important role to play. But not all of them have found much importance is any of the version. One such character is Urmila and her story with Lakshmana. All versions mention Urmila's sacrifice as "Unparalleled" but none depicted it. This story is an attempt to present the story of Ramayana from Urmila and Lakshmana's POV. Note : This story is fictional. The characters are the same. This story is an insight of The Ramayana through Lakshman and Urmila's eyes. There would be Nobody's POV also. The events are the same but the depiction is part of fiction. Parts of the story is loosely based/inspired from Sita's Sister but I have taken creative liberty to give my character more edge and depth.
