《Drowning is a Relief》Chapter 5

As Bubbles opened the door to the house, she caught sight of Jack kissing a young girl on her cheek.
'And it's a wonder I get let out at all.' She thought to herself, smiling to the girl as Bubbles walked in.
'Hi sir.' Bubbles said coldly to Jack.
Bubbles made her way back to the hidden 'room' of the house by the stairs, she heard:
'Who's she? She's ugly.' Whispered the girl to Jack.
'Oh she's a maid, don't mind her baby.' was the response.
'I say fire her, she's rude as hell. And your wife?'
'She's out.'
'See you next weekend.'
'I'll be sure to treat you better.'
Kissing sounds, gross.
It killed Bubbles that she had to show no emotion to this. Bubbles was halfway up the floors when her husband called out to her.
'Babe.' He shouted.
Bubbles continued to make her way up the endless flights of stairs.
The well decorated walls meant nothing to her, and she wished she couldn't say the same thing about her wretched husband.
'Baby.' He said again.
It wasn't until he grabbed her arm that things started going downhill for her.
Grip, twist.
Another hand, slithering for her.
'I'm coming for you!' The voice yelled behind her, she felt a hand pull on her hair as she felt another grip onto her arm.
It hurt bad. More than it ever did.
'Let me go! Please!' She cried, hot boiling tears streaming down her red face.
She was still trying to escape his grip, his touch.
'I won't give up, I won't give in to you.' She thought as she struggled.
She twisted and turned, as he pinned her onto the wall.
'I won't let you get away with this.'
One pummel, after another, until she was on the floor crying.
He reasoned with her, telling her to stay.
The next day she woke up with a black eye and a dislocated shoulder.
What's the difference anyway, it's not like she can do anything to change it.
She's used to it.
It doesn't hurt.
Cue the long long of explain actions for why she still stayed with him.

Summoning Shenanigans
Adding in [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Sean was a chemist on Earth with a lovely family life. Everything was going well, until a group of gods decide to summon him to their world. An unfortunate appearance by the trickster god derailed a normal summoning, and now Sean finds himself in a pickle. Content warning: There will be profanity and quite probably some gore, though the point of the story will not revovle around any gory scenes. I'm also including traumatising content as there will for sure be slavery and rape. The rape will be alluded to and not described, there are other places for that. I think this also explains the grimdark tag.
