The sand was as warm as he thought it would be, he felt happy to be away from Seoul, away from all the noise that kept him up at night.
But now all he heard was the wind, the ocean, the sound of his own heart.
Cheol-min slipped his shoes off digging his toes into the white sand, life was far from normal ever since he was found rejected in a cafe one day. The day he tried to become singer but was told his voice wasn't good enough.
"The looks are such a waste."
He pushed himself away from the past looking out to the beach, people scattered down the sand swimming or laying in the sun, all he could feel was happiness.
Min-Seo stood beside him, her arm grazing his, he couldn't of seen anything more beautiful than what he saw in her, a smile that made his forget to breath.
"Grand idea, huh?" She asked glancing over.
His face flushed, "y-yeah."
"I can't remember the last time I came to the beach," she laughed, "well, I can't remember the last time I felt this way."
And his heart beat, his chest flamed, and he fell harder than he realized for the girl he met by chance.
"Happy?" He asked, she pulled the loose hairs from her lips smiling.
She nodded, her eyes drew away, "Cheol-min, do you think people can fall in love over understanding?"
"Understanding?"
"Understanding one another, understanding why the other would smile over a simple conversation-" she turned to him, the sun behind her, the wind caressing her "-understand why they word fall for stranger."
His heart twisted, "what are you trying to say?" His voice quiet, she smiled softly taking a careful step to Cheol-min.
"I think I may of fallen in love with a stranger," Min-Seo mumbled, a trembling smile, "with you, Cheol-min."
Some say when you meet the one time freezes, whether that's true or not it was for them, time froze as their hearts came closer and collided.
