《Relief》Epilogue

Terra and Collin sat at a cafe nearby their college, studying for their final exams. In less than a week, they were going to graduate and in less than a month, they were finally going to tie the knot. Terra had remembered how beautiful her mother looked as a bride. She couldn't wait to experience the feeling. It was almost her parent's one year anniversary and she still didn't know what to get them.

"I mean, what do you think they'll like? Maybe a vacation to the Bahamas? Hawaii? Ooh, or maybe--"

"Terra!" Collin interrupted. "Stop worrying about it. You have five months to come up with something brilliant and no matter what it is, I'm sure they'll love it," He pulled away from his book to hold her hand. "Plus, you already know what they want." He smirked, referring to his almost mother-in-law's request of holding her first grand baby before she clocks out. Heck, even her father was asking for it.

Terra couldn't stop the smile from spreading on her face. She pulled her hand away. "Yeah, yeah. Just keep it in your pants until graduation, all right! Then we'll start talking babies." She went back to reading her book.

After a while, Terra had this weird feeling in the pit of her stomach. It was something that she couldn't shake off. Accidentally, Collin brushed his leg against hers. She bit her lips to prevent the moan from slipping out. That was weird. She hadn't felt that way since. . .

After Collin marked her, her desire for him was more than quenched, at least for a little while. She thought she could hold it until their marriage but now, it wasn't looking so good. She closed her eyes and winced at the sudden desire that hit her.

Collin noticed her erratic behavior. She was trying to hold something in and he saw the pain. . . or should I say, pleasure, evident on her face. Something was wrong. He was about to ask her when he smelled it. That beautiful mix of Vanilla and Coconut. A growl erupted suddenly; low in his chest. He had to get her out of there before an unmated wolf sniffs her out and pounces on her. Even the mere thought caused his wolf to stir. He put money on the table enough to cover the tab and tip.

Terra opened her eyes when she felt hands encompass her waist and drag her out of the cafe into the car. Almost in an instant, Collin had his hands on her neck, crushing her lips to his. He kissed her, hard. The love and lust almost palpable to the touch. His hands traveled down to her hips and pulled her closer so that there was absolutely no space between them. He bit her Claim and she cried out in pleasure. The heat that he provided was soon gone when he pulled away, righting himself in the driver's seat.

"We're going home," Was all he said, before he told her to put her seat belt on and began to drive away.

Terra was in a daze. Screw waiting for their wedding night, she wanted him .

The car came to a stop and Collin went out the door before she could notice. He grabbed her gently and led her inside the house. Once the door was closed, he slammed her into the nearest wall, continuing his sexual ministrations. She moaned, clenching his hair hard in her fist, wrapping her legs around him. He started running up the stairs. She felt her back hit the soft mattress and warm lips reach hers. The lust died down and the love could be felt in that slow, sensual kiss. Their wolves pulled back, letting them have their moment.

All their clothes were off in a hurry and they looked into each others eyes. She heard his voice ringing in her ears. "I love you, T. Never forget that." Then he thrust forward, satisfying the pain and pleasure, claiming her as his fully.

"And, I love you, Collin. I'm all yours." She exclaimed.

"As I am all yours, my love. Forever and Always." He reassured and in unison, they bit into their Claim again, sealing the bond forever.

1 year and

Terra woke up with immense pain and wetness pooling down her thighs. She clutched at her belly, worriedly. It's finally time.It usually took an alpha pup five months to grow in their mother's belly but their little one exceeded that time, deeming it as special. She tried to wake Collin up but he just stirred, mumbling to wake him up again in five minutes.

She shook him again, not relenting. "Collin, honey, wake up! It's the baby." With that said, he jumped up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and put on his shoes, finding the bag with all the things they needed and headed out the door, grabbing his car keys along the way, only to realize he forgot the most important thing. He ran up the stairs, finding her trying to get up by herself. Once he got a hold of her, they slowly made their way to the car, informing everybody through mind link that in just a few hours, their bundle of joy was coming.

Everyone was anticipating any news of Terra and Collin's first born child in the waiting room. Maggie held little Warren in her arms. The rambunctious two-year-old couldn't keep still and she handed him to Evan, resting her head on his shoulder, rubbing her swollen belly.

Collin's parents walked in, asking if there was any news.

"Not yet," Alice reassured, clutching at her husband's hand, Richard, who was also very anxious.

Just then Collin came into the room, tears and a smile on his face. "It's a girl. A beautiful, healthy baby girl." He wiped at the tears and told them all to come into the room, where Terra was holding her.

She admired her little face, hands, and body cuddled up against hers. She was smiling up at her and she couldn't help but join in. "Hi, baby, I'm your mama. Welcome to the world, little one. We've been waiting a long time for you." She caressed her small cheek, kissing her head lightly.

She heard the door open and saw everyone come in, oohing and ahhing at the sight before them. She saw her parents and grandmother tear up along with Collin's parents. Little Warren was perched on his daddy's shoulder watching curiously at the tiny little girl in Terra's arms, with Maggie beside him, looking very pregnant. Collin stood by her side, reveling at the sight of his wife and baby.

"Hi, everyone!" Terra said, placing a light kiss on her husband's lips. "Meet Elena Jane Mitchell."

"Welcome home, sweetheart." Terra cooed, baby in arms as she walked in their new home, secured safely near the pack house. Collin finally took the role as Alpha, after they came back from their honeymoon. He was serious about putting his business degree into good use and set up a chain of corporations and successful businesses across the nation, with a little help from Evan, his Beta.

Elena was two weeks old and and sleeping in Terra's arms peacefully. Collin was outside parking the car. He told her to go inside and place her in the nursery so she also could get some rest. But how can Terra sleep when all she wanted to do was stare at her beautiful baby girl.

She walked upstairs to the nursery, adorned with yellow walls and stuffed animals everywhere. A white rocking chair stood near the crib where she placed Elena softly, who stirred when she no longer felt the warmth of her mother's arms but went back to sleep as Terra began to caress her cheek.

"Beautiful," Collin murmured, causing Terra to turn back and look at him, smiling.

"Isn't she?" She went back to admiring the baby.

"I meant both of you," Collin embraced Terra from behind, wrapping his arms around her waist. He pecked her cheek.

She sighed, contently. Could life get any better than this? Collin started to nibble on her neck, placing butterfly kisses everywhere his lips went.

Later that night, Terra found herself in their bedroom. She remembered falling asleep after feeding Elena. Collin must have found her and carried her to bed but it seems he slept with her because the space next to her still held his warmth.

She got up and decided to check up on Elena. She noticed the door was ajar and crept it open a little more. She almost cried at the sight before her. Collin sat on the rocking chair, holding Elena while he told her a story.

"And then they lived Happily Ever After," He said and smiled when he saw his wife.

"Hi there," She said.

"Hello yourself," He kissed her when she stood beside him, smiling down at the baby.

"What fairytale story has your dad fed you, huh?" She asked, which proved to be futile, because the baby was sound asleep, lightly sucking her thumb.

"Just telling her about King Collin having to slay some dragons to win Queen Terra's heart. Then after, they fell in love, married, and had a beautiful Princess named Elena." He smiled at his own silliness but it caused Terra to laugh, so it was worth it.

After a little while of sitting in comfortable silence, together as a family, Terra asked a question. "You know she's human, right?" She was still standing, hunched over, embracing both Collin and Elena.

"Yes," He confessed. "I felt it when you first held her and I feel it now. I still love her."

"And so do I," Terra said, lovingly. "But I'm worried about what would happen when she grows up. Will she eventually turn into a wolf? The doctor said the gene is just dormant until something triggers it." She rambled, caressing her baby.

"Hey, look at me, T." She did as he commanded. "We love our baby no matter what. And I know we will ensure that she stays happy and healthy; protected in this world." She smiled at that, which caused joy to swell in his heart. He cupped her cheek. "As of right now, she's safe and sound. . ." He looked down at Elena then up at his wife, bring her even closer to him. ". . .With us."

Terra couldn't have agreed more to the words her husband had just said and she held them tightly as the full moon shone through the window.
