Aiden grins in reply before he looks at me like he was trying to figure me out; "favorite color?".

"Purple" I reply instantly; "whats's yours?"

"Black" he states proudly making me laugh a little at the predictably; "favorite food?"

"Do cookies count?" I reply to which he nods, "what's yours?"

"Pizza" he replies chuckling before continuing; "okay new rule, you can't ask the same questions I do."

I roll my eyes but smile, "okay, um...do you play any sport?"

"I box sometimes, and I used to play football but then...other things came up" he replies thoughtfully.

"What other things?" I ask, he smirks in response, his cocky self returning.

"Wait your turn," he says making me roll my eyes. "Favourite sex position? Mines anything where you're involved" Aiden winks at me, I look at him exasperated until he breaks out into a loud laugh; "just kidding, favorite TV show?"

"Ummm The Vampire Diaries" I reply, you can't blame me; the Salvatore brothers are as hot as Aiden. He chuckles at my response.

"Do you have a job?" I ask him.

"If you're looking for a male escort that looks as good as I do, then I'll do it for free" he replies winking, I had noticed he didn't really answer the question but I left it with the impression that he wasn't ready to share.

I roll my eyes at his immature ways.

Aiden goes quiet for a moment before he asks me my next question; "why did Elijah swap spots with you so easily when you said you were claustrophobic at dinner?"

Oh shit, he did notice that.

Should I tell him?

Ahhh screw it.

"Umm, I used to get panic attacks?" I reply after a minute of silence hesitantly. He looks at me curiously but nods, I'm assuming he was waiting his turn to question me further. A part of him looks like he was in conflict about something inwardly. He looks at me expectantly, waiting for my question.

"What 'other things' happened?" I ask Aiden, remembering back to a few questions earlier.

"Just family stuff" he responds nonchalantly, again I had figured he didn't want to elaborate.

"Why do you get panic attacks?" he asks straight away, although my heart sinks I put on a brave face and smirk confidently.

"Just family stuff" I wink, using his words against him once again.

He laughs genuinely, a sounds that I'll never get tired of and smiles at me. Although he is smiling genuinely he looks deep in thought about something once again.

"Bra size?" He asks smirking, his cocky self once again showing.

I roll my eyes at his pervy question, I was a C or D, but I would never tell him that. "None of your business" I laugh.

"What are the tracks?" I ask, remembering someone mentioning it.

He looks like he's debating telling me, but eventually, he does; "it's a place where some people go to street race so they can earn money."

He had answered my question like he didn't know that I had heard that he raced there. He wanted to tell me, but not give anything away. I nod, waiting till my next turn to ask him about it.

"What is Luke to you?" He asks curiously looking at me.

My face wrinkles at his question, that's random. But I answer anyway; "my best friend? I thought everyone knew that."

He looks at me strangely but nods eventually.

"Do you and Luke both race at the tracks?" I ask cautiously, he noticeably stiffens and looks at me suspiciously. "I overheard Toby and Luke" I admit.

He nods stiffly, but eventually relaxes; "have you ever liked Luke?"

Why all these questions about Luke!?

"No, he's my best friend" I reply curiously.

"Good best friends don't want to date you," he says casually.

"What?" I ask in a confused tone.

"As if you didn't know that Luke was in love with you," Aiden asks, genuinely surprised.

I shake my head, he's not. Aiden is just trying to get under my skin. Rolling my eyes I ask another question, "why do you and Luke hate each other?"

"I don't hate him, but why he hates me, that's his story to tell" Aiden shrugs making me roll my eyes but nod. At least he was respectful.

"Are you a virgin?" Aiden smirks again, although he was smirking a part of him looked actually curious.

"No, I won't even bother asking you" I reply smirking. Aiden looks surprised with my answer, maybe even impressed. He chuckles at the last part of my answer.

"How old were you when you lost your virginity," I ask curiously, it was blatantly obvious that he had been sexually active for a while, but I was curious about how long that had actually been.

"13" he shrugs nonchalantly.

I gape at his reply, 13?! Did he even know what he was agreeing to?!

"How old were you?" he asks, analyzing my shocked stare.

"16" I respond quickly, I probably could have waited but it just felt like the right time, I was going through a bit of a rebel stage a couple of years after Maddi had died and done a lot of things that I'm not proud of. I'm not saying that the guy I lost it to was the problem, as mentioned earlier, he was amazing.

"Who'd you lose it to?" I ask curiously, it's not like I'd know whoever it was but I was still extremely curious.

"Her name was Katherine and she was a family friend, we had been close forever and one night one thing led to another, she left to move to Australia." He replies shrugging once again.

I nod in acknowledgment, of course the notorious bad boy would have lost his virginity that young.

"If Luke asked you on a date, would you go?" Aiden begins again.

What is his obsession with mine and Luke's relationship?!

"No, I don't see him like that, he's my best friend!!" I reply exasperatedly.

"Uh-huh," Aiden smirks, obviously finding this whole situation entertaining.

"He doesn't like me like that, he sees me the same way I see him!!" I groan. Does this boy get the hint!?

Right, stupid question. We are talking about Aiden Black.

"Collins, for a smart girl you can be very dumb" Aiden smirks.

The nerve!!

"Black," I mimic before continuing; "If Luke ever tells me that he sees me more than what I see him, which won't happen, you'll be the first one I tell" I sigh in defeat.

He smirks at me, obviously satisfied with my answer before he checks his phone. His face shows surprise before he turns to me and shows me his screen, the first thing I notice is his lock screen image, it's him shirtless with his 2 sisters hanging off him. The image is adorable, all of them have huge cheesy grins and are cuddled in close.

Although it isn't the first thing I notice, it's hard to ignore Aiden's shirtless torso. I had known he would be fit, it was pretty obvious with all the clothes he wore, but can I just say. DAMN. His skin was beautiful and tan and his well defined 6 pack glowed in the sun. I then look at the time and are shocked by what I see.

"1:00 in the morning?!" I repeat shocked, looking at Aiden.

he nods; "go to sleep", he says softly.

"You go to sleep" I reply back, he rolls his eyes at my immaturity but nods nonetheless.

He waits for me to get on the tree, even offering his help to which I obviously refuse. I'm too badass for that.

I enter my room seconds after Aiden enters his but freak out with what I see. On my wall just above my bed is the biggest spider I had ever seen.

I was not afraid of spiders usually, well that was a lie, but Robert had always taken them outside so I never had to worry. I wasn't scared of many things, but spiders definitely were one thing that I had hated.

Aiden looked at me curiously; "Collins?" he asks.

I have three options here, one is to sleep in the spare room and get Robert to get rid of it tomorrow but that would mean risking the spider hiding and it paying me a surprise visit later. Two was to wake up Robert now, but that wasn't ideal either because to say my mom didn't like being woken up would be an understatement. Or finally, deflating my ego entirely and asking the bad boy for help, but that would mean never living it down.

Biting my lip and sighing I look at Aiden with the best puppy dog eyes I can manage. He looks at me curiously in return.

"Aiden, will you help me?" I finally allow myself to say.

He smirks at me in response; "the damsel in distress needs my help."

I sigh and glare at him; "Please Aiden can you come here" I say through gritted teeth. Asking Aiden for help was not something I was okay with.

He smirks at me but begins to climb over here anyway.

"What is it?" he asks as he climbs through my window and into my room.

Never thought I'd see the day when the school's very own Aiden Black was in my room at 1:00 in the morning.

"Can you take the spider outside?" I ask pointing to the spider I had officially called Norman.

"The what?" Aiden asks me in a panicked voice before following my hand and looking at Norman in all his glory. He visibly gulps.

Is the bad boy actually afraid of a tiny spider?

Okay, so Norman wasn't THAT tiny but still!!

I smirk at Aidens noticeable panicked facade; "I can't believe THE Aiden Black is afraid of spiders, wait until I tell all the girls at school that their favorite bad boy isn't as strong as he looks" I laugh evilly.

"I'm not afraid!!" Aiden manages to choke out, I guess he didn't want me to ruin his ego.

I smirk at his reply; "Then please get rid of Norman for the 'damsel in distress,'" I reply dramatically, using his word against him and batting my eyelashes obviously adding to my illusion.

Aiden stops for a moment before he looks at me strangely; "you called the spider Norman?"

I shrug, "It seemed fitting."

Aiden looks at me for a while exasperatedly before shaking his head and turning to once again face Norman.

"Yeah okay, well I'm going to be your knight in shining armor and kill the spider" he replies in a panicky voice.

"No you can't kill it, you have to take it outside" I demand, I didn't like spiders but I didn't want them to die either.

Aiden gives me a look that screams 'are you fucking serious' but nods eventually when he sees I won't budge.

I laugh at his discomfort but nonetheless watch in amusement as he grabs one of my childhood books from my shelf and walks warily over to Norman.

As Aiden gets closer Norman moves a little and Aiden jumps back swearing under his breath. I laugh out loud and Aiden glares at me but tries again. I was glad that mom and Roberts room was far away because I would have probably woken them up by now. Lij wasn't really a problem, he was the deepest sleeper I had ever met.

The scenario repeats itself a couple of times, amusing me the same before Aiden is finally successful.

Norman is on the far side of the book while Aiden looks at him terrifyingly and rushes to the window.

"Fuck it's getting closer" Aiden whisper yells to me, it was obvious that he was absolutely terrified and I almost took pity on him but the situation was far too funny.

Keyword - almost.

He is almost at my window when I hear one last curse word before he drops my book along with Norman out the window.

"Aiden" I whisper yell as I run to him, the laughter completely disappearing.

"I got rid of Norman?" he shrugs innocently, as much as the situation annoyed me I laughed, he was so scared of spiders it was just funny.

After I calm down, I look at him in seriousness; "I won't tell anyone that you're scared of spiders and you won't ever bring this knight in shining armor thing up again, deal?

I figured it was a good deal, his reputation would stay intact and my ego wouldn't bruise as much as I had previously thought.

"Deal" Aiden smirks instantly.

I laugh a little again.

"Goodnight Collins" he smiles as he climbs out my window again; "and you're welcome," he continues smirking.

I roll my eyes at the bad boy but find myself smiling ever so slightly; "good night Black."
