《The Hewitts: Texas chainsaw massacre》Arguments and Outbursts

You sat down at the table, Thomas sitting next to you of course. Monty had already been sitting at the table waiting for dinner to begin. Luda had already brought in the food and was now sitting as well. All you were waiting on was Hoyt.

You sat with your hands in your lap, hanging your head a bit. You hadn't really though about what had happened earlier. The fact that Hoyt had shot him somehow didn't seem real. It felt more empty. As if it had no real meaning. It felt odd. You had grown up with your brother almost being like a best friend to you. So why didn't it just feel like a numb memory?

Thomas watched you carefully. He wasn't sure what you were doing but you looked deep in thought. He watched you, raising an eyebrow at your actions. He sometimes wondered what you thought about. It seemed like you thought about a lot of things, you just never said them.

You looked up as Hoyt entered the door behind you. You watched as he walked behind Monty to his place at the head of the table. He eyed you. Luda gave him a somewhat annoyed look.

Hoyt looked over everyone before he said grace. When he had finished, he sat down in his place and started eating. Soon you and everyone else did. There was tension in the room. Everyone ate in silence. It was fine that way, to you at least. Thomas didn't seem to really mind either. He just carried on eating like normal.

Everyone paused and looked up as Hoyt cleared his throat. He was looking straight at you. You stared back, not giving him anything but a blank stare. Hoyt then looked around at the other three.

"Well. Any suggestions on what we do?"

You gave a small glare at him but also raised an eyebrow at him.

"By which you mean?"

"That boy out there. I say we just treat him like the others."

Luda put down her fork and glared at him.

"Charlie, that's her own kin! We ain't doing that!"

"Why not? Meats, meat. He ain't no different!"

"Charlie Hewitt! That's like saying you'd eat one of us!"

"She ain't one of us, there for he ain't either."

You glared at him with a hate. What did he mean you 'weren't one of them'? You had damn well been there long enough to be one. Your anger stared to grow as your gripped the steak knife you held.

"She's been one of us ever since she decided to stay."

"She ain't one of us, mama. She stayed because she had to. There ain't nothin' keeping her from leaving!"

"You know exactly why she's still here!"

Your grip tightened as you gave a low growl from your seat. Thomas looked from them to you, starting to be a little bit concerned.

"She ain't one of us and she never will be!"

He quickly turned to Thomas and then glared at you.

"You don't see it, boy, but I do. I know her kind. Think they're better than you..."

Thomas looked at you for a moment before he turned to Hoyt.

"She doesn't care about you, boy! She never did!"

Thomas turned back and looked at you with a hurt expression.

That was it. You'd had enough.

You shot up out of your seat and slammed the knife into the table.

"Look, asshole! I know you don't like me but leave me the fuck alone! You think you know me but you don't know shit about me! If I really didn't care about him I would have left fucking long ago! If you can't fucking see that well that's your own damn problem but leave me out of it! I've had enough of your shit! I don't care if you don't think I'm one of you but leave me the hell alone!"

Your shoulders shook as your breath fell heavily. The whole table was silent. Hoyt stared at you, his eyes burning into yours. You didn't care, you stared right back. Luda, Monty, and Thomas sat there shocked.

You pulled the knife out of the table and slammed it down, never breaking eye contact with him. You soon turned and left, leaving the door swinging behind you.

You ran up the stairs and into your own room. You slammed the door shut and slammed your back against it. You ran your hands down your face and growled.

"God damn it all!"

You walked over to the bed and flopped down. You sat with your head propped up by your hands as your elbows dug into your knees. You let out a agitated sighed and ran one of your hands through your h/l hair.

They sat there in silence for a moment before Luda stood up.

"I hope your happy with yourself."

"Mama, that damn outburst of hers was plain out uncalled for!"

Luda just shook her head in disgust.

"I can't believe you, Charlie Hewitt!"

"Mama, she ain't no fucking better! I mean look at her!"

Thomas shook his head and stood up as well, leaving. He wondered out into the hallway, still hearing Hoyt and Luda arguing. It was enough to annoy anyone. He just never thought it would send you off the edge.

Thomas stopped and looked up the staircase. He could see that your door was shut. He gave a sigh before he began to climb the stairs.

You looked up as Thomas opened your door. He paused a moment before he took a few steps into the room and shut the door. He looked at you with a somewhat disturbed, somewhat sympathetic expression.

You sighed and looked at him. He stood there, looking at you like a child looking at a wounded animal.

"I'm okay, Tommy. I just..."

You stopped and he tilted his head.

"I don't know, Thomas. I'm just angry, that's all..."

Thomas gave you a whine but didn't come any closer to you.
