《The Hewitts: Texas chainsaw massacre》No good

You entered the kitchen where Luda stood, still talking to Hoyt. You smiled a stopped, standing by the table. Thomas followed close behind, stopping close to your side. Tex walked in being left alone in the open room. Luda and Hoyt both smiled and walked over to him.
You didn't move and just gave a slight smile as Luda hugged him and Hoyt shook his hand. They guided Tex over to the table and sat him down, also sitting down as well. Luda waved her hand at you and Thomas, inviting you and Thomas to sit down as well.
Thomas made sure he sat right beside you, always keeping an eye on Tex. Tex would pause every now and then and stare directly at you. The more he did it, the closer Thomas got to you. He would slide his chair over in small scoots. He did this until your chairs were only separated by a few inches.
You looked over at Thomas and gave him a questioning look. He only looked back at you with a small look of worry. When you had the chance, you pardoned yourself from the table, wanting to get away from the noise for awhile. Thomas watched you eagerly as you stood up.
"I think I'll go up to my room for a bit, if you don't mind. It's been nice meeting you, Tex."
Tex gave a nod and stood up as well.
"Yeah. I think I need to go unpack anyway, so I'll join you on the way up..."
He paused and gave a large grin.
"And yes, it has been nice to meet you too. I hope I'll be seeing more of you."
He winked causing you to look at Thomas. Thomas stared at Tex with a full on hatred. You swallowed a bit before pushing in your chair and heading for the door. Thomas quickly got up and trotted over to you. Tex followed behind Thomas with a smirk on his face.

You thought about Thomas as you worked your way up the stairs. He was being super clingy which he'd never done since you'd been there. He only started doing it the same time Tex came around. It was him, wasn't it? He was the reason Thomas was being so clingy. Was Thomas worried about something? He sure looked it...
When you reached your room, you turned to see Tex watching you with a smile.
"I'll have to remember that's your room."
Thomas, reaching the top of the stairs, heard that and growled. He stormed over to Tex and shoved him back into the doorway of his own room. Thomas stared down at Tex who just looked up at him with a glare.
Thomas turned and came over to you, walking past you and into the room. You turned back to him, closing the door behind you. Thomas sat down on the bed hard, making the wood groan. He ran a hand through his dark hair and looked at the floor.
You sat there a moment before carefully walking over to him and taking a seat besides him.
"Thomas? You okay? "
Thomas grunted and flickedhis hand at you, waving you off. You were taken aback a little but didn't give up.
"Thomas...whats wrong?"
Thomas grunted again. You looked off to the side, not really sure what to say to him now.
"Tommy...its Tex isn't it?"
Thomas paused a bit. Partly because you had never called him Tommy before but mostly because you were right. He slowly nodded. You bit the corner of your lip.
"He bothers you, doesn't he?"
Thomas nodded again and looked up at you. He pointed at you, then pointed out the hallway at the direction of Tex's door. You raised your eyebrow and tilted your head.

"...Me and Tex?..."
He nodded and glared at the door. It slowly started to sink in. He didn't Tex around you.
"You don't want Tex around me, do you?"
Thomas shook his head. You nodded.
"Why?"
Thomas pointed at the door and shook his head.
"No?"
He shook his head again bit this time held his thumb up.
"Yes?"
He did the same thing again. Shook his head and then gave you a thumbs up. You just stared at him, completely lost. Thomas sighed and tried again, this time he did it sowly. He shook his head.
"No..."
Then he gave a thumbs up.
"Good?"
He nodded and did it again, only faster. This time he paused and frowned. He struggled a bit before he made a strange sound.
"No...good."
Your eyes widened. This was the first time he had said anything at all. Hell. You weren't even sure if he would ever talk but he did. You gave him a smile and a small laugh of amazement. He had actually said something.
"No good."
He nodded quickly. You finally got it.
"Tex is no good."
Thomas nodded then pointed to you.
"Tex is no good for me?"
Thomas nodded. You nodded back and looked to the door. 'Tex is no good...Tex is no good..." You smiled at him again.
"Thomas...you talked."
Thomas shrugged and gave a small smile. It was more of a shy smile but he kind of hid it. He looked up at you, he was enjoying seeing you smile. It was nice. A lot nicer than seeing Tex try to get at her for one thing. Thomas knew damn well what Tex was trying to do and he would do anything to get you away from Tex. Thomas knew he had kept you around for a reason...
Thomas's smile faded as a hard knock came from the door. He gave a short low growl before getting up and going over to it, practically ripping the door open. Tex stood on the other side, and soon as Thomas saw him he frowned and shut the door.
You snorted a bit as Thomas did this, trying not to laugh at Tex. You could hear Tex give a loud sigh before he opened the door again.
"Luda says it's dinner time."
Thomas nodded and looked at you, shutting the door on Tex again.
"Whatever then."
You laughed as you heard Tex walk away.
"Was that really necessary, Thomas?"
He nodded and opened the door, pausing as you caught up to him. You both walked down the stairs and into the dinning room where everyone else waited.
