You woke up early to a slight knocking on your door. You groaned a little before flinging the sheets off and swinging your legs over thhe side of the bed. You stretched as you stood up, raising your arms way over your head.
You stumbled across the room and opened the door, still trying to run the sleep out of your eyes. On the other side Luda stood there with a warm smile and a pile of clothing. You gave a small smile in return.
"Mornin' honey."
"Morin' Luda."
She smiled again as she stepped into the room. You carefully backed out of her way and gently shut the door. Luda made her way to the bed and sat down the pile of clothes.
"I brought you some clothes. I thought it'd be nice to get out of those things."
"Hm? Oh. Yeah. I guess it has been a couple of days..."
Luda gave a small laugh as she turned around. She looked you up and down before tilting her head.
"Darlin', how ling has it been since you had a bath?"
"Oh, um...a while..."
"Thought so...how would you like one?"
"That would be real nice of you."
Luda smiled and nodded.
"Alright. I'll go get it started. You pick out an outfit and join me when your ready."
"Thank you, ma'am."
She nodded and left the room, leaving you in the silence again. You sighed and turned back to the clothing. There were multiple pairs of jeans and a few shirts. You picked out a plain black tank top, and light jeans, hoping they would match with your boots.
You stepped out of the room and scanned the hallway. There was two doors on your right and one on your left. Shrugging you went right and stopped at the first door. You paused before knocking. Silence. 'Wrong one I guess.'
You turned to the other door and hesitated. What if this was someone's room? You took a deep breath and knocked. You sighed in relief as Luda opened the door.

"It's all ready and waitin'. Come in."
You nodded and entered the room. It was a quite a large bathroom. It had white walls, a big sink, toilet, and a large white cast iron tub that rested on small, clawlike feet. All of which were white just like the rest of the room.
Luda took the fresh clothing from you and sat them down on the sink. She then opened the cabinets under the sink and pulled out some clean towels and a bar of soap.
"Everything's here and if you need anything just call."
"Thank you."
"My pleasure, dear."
She left the room, gently closing the door behind you. You waited a moment until her footsteps faded and the room to fall silent before you undressed.
You slipped into the water and sighed. The warm water consumed you, relaxing every muscle. The water tingled your leg water the stiches were but it didn't bother you all that much. You sat there for a solid moment before taking the soap bar and washing yourself.
After about 10 minutes you stood up and squeezed out your hair before wrapping it and yourself up in a towl. You eventually began getting dressed as you had finally dryer off. When you finished you headed back to the room to get your boots.
You opened the door and looked across the room. Your eyes stopped on a tall mirror in the corner of your room. How hadn't you noticed it before? You approached it, checking yourself out. The clothing hugged you a bit, showing off your curves and your chest. You contemplated the look before pulling on your boots.
You weren't too worried about your clothing choice but you wondered what Thomas might think of it. The tank top was kind of revealing and you didn't know how often he had seen girls with this kind of clothing. Then again, he hadn't seen many girls. Luda could back that up.

You left and headed downstairs. You headed into the kitchen to see Luda, but paused in the hallway. She was talking to someone. It was Hoyt she was talking to.
"I don't think we have to worry about it."
"You never know, mama. She could go any day now. You'll see."
She? Were they talking about you? If so, why? What had you done? You continued to listen, creeping towards the kitchen.
"She ain't gonna leave I tell you! Look how she's done so far!"
"It doesn't matter. We don't need her here!"
"Oh yeah? What about Thomas?"
"What about him?"
"He needs her, Charlie, and you know it!"
"He don't need anyone, mama. He'll be fine on his own."
"That's a lie, and you know it!"
"And she's gonna take care of him? Pssh. She can barley take care of herself!"
"So what, you just gonna kill her? See what Tommy thinks about that. I dare you."
Hoyt paused and then went silent. Your breathing increased and you stared at the ground, balling your fists. You couldn't believe what you were hearing. Sure you had known that Hoyt didn't like you too much, but this?! Fine. If that's how he felt then fine. You didn't need to take his shit.
"Charlie. Thomas finally found someone who isn't afraid of him. He might actually have a chance with this one..."
You paused and looked up.
"I don't care if you don't like her, you leave her alone and I mean it! She doesn't need to take this from you! I mean it, Charlie. Leave them alone."
Hoyt huffed.
"Fine."
You heard him stand up and stomp away, slamming the back door as he left. Luda gave a heavy sigh. You turned back and ran into someone. It was Thomas of course. You stumbled backwards and fell back on your ass. You looked up. Thomas stood over you, looking down.
"Thomas!"
You yelled at him in a whispered voice. He tilted his head and grunted. You climbed back to your feet, blowing a piece of hair out of your eyes.
"What are you doing?"
He shrugged and grunted again. You sighed and shook your head.
"Alright then. Come on."
Thomas looked at you confused as you grabbed his arm and turned back to the kitchen. You entered and Luda looked up and smiled.
"Hi, luda."
"Hi, y/n. I like your outfit. It's much better than that dirty one you had on earlier."
"Yeah, it is. Thank you, again."
"It's no problem, dear."
You walked over to the kitchen table with Thomas still standing in the middle of the room. Luda turned to him.
"It's nice, isn't it Thomas?"
Thomas looked you up and down before giving Luda a strong nod. Luda gave a small laugh and turned back to the counter. You sat down at the table with Thomas. Luda came over with a few glasses of tea, also sitting down.
"So y/n, I saw you and Thomas went to-"
The phone rang. Luda sighed and got up, crossing the room to the phone. She picked it up with a small tone of annoyance.
"Hello?"
"Oh...Eddie."
Thomas crossed his arms and glared at the phone. You watched him as he huffed and rolled his eyes. Thomas certainly didn't think too much of this Eddie guy.
"How have you been?"
"Good, good. Yep. We have a new one here."
"How soon?"
"Alright. See you then."
"Bye."
Luda turned back to you and Thomas. Thomas kept his arms crossed. Luda gave a stern look at him.
"Oh, Thomas. It'll only be a couple of days."
Thomas shook his head and looked off to the floor. You raised an eyebrow to him, which he didn't reply to. 'Who's Eddie?'
This is kind of what y/n's outfit looks like.
