《The Hewitts: Texas chainsaw massacre》The arrivals

You slowly woke up to the sun hitting your face. You reached up and rubbed your eyes with a yawn. As you came to your senses, you realized you couldn't move. You also felt a pressure on your waist. You looked down, surprised.

Thomas had both of his large arms wrapped around you and he had pinned you against his body. You could feel the leather muzzle he wore digging into the crook of your neck. This was the closest he had been to you, and you could now smell the dirt and blood on him.

You looked down at his arms to see if there was anyway to get out. You stopped when you saw his arms had lots of scars on them. They looked to be years old but they were very large and there was multiple of them. Maybe they were work accidents?

You slightly moved your head back just enough to look at him. He was still sleeping and none of your slight movement had disturbed him. You squinted at the muzzle. It was made a sort of leather that had been stitched together with thick twine and leather strips.

Your eyes wondered down to the mouth hole in the muzzle. Just at the corner of his actual mouth you could see another scar. You followed the jagged line with your eyes until the mask cut you off, hiding the rest of it. The more you looked at him the more you wanted to know what lay beyond it.

Thomas shifted in his sleep, readjusting his head into your neck. This time he let out a big sigh as he found a good spot to stay. You sighed too as you closed your eyes again. It actually felt kind of nice to lay there with him.

The room had had cold air coming through the window all night so it was nice to have the extra body heat. However you knew you had to get up soon anyway. You shifted your hips to the side which had been just enough to wake him up.

His grip on you tightened the quickly released. He sat up quickly and looked at you. He looked somewhat surprised and somewhat sorry. You sat up as well, facing him.

"Uh, sorry Thomas..."

He looked at you, then nodded as he looked away. 'That was weird'

You watched him as he stood up and crossed the room to the window. He looked out before stretching, raising his arms over his head. You also stood up in order to find your boots.

You pulled them on and headed over to the door. Thomas put his shoes on as well before following you. As you opened the door you checked to see his distance behind you. He was quietly pulling his apron over his head before tying it. He then looked up and nodded at you.

You pulled the door open the rest of the way and headed down the stairs. You paused at the bottom to look at the large front doors to your left. One was open. You stared at it for a moment before Thomas gave an irritated grunt and grabbed your arm.

He stared down at you for a moment before pulling you down the hall and into the kitchen. As he let go of your arm you turned around and crossed your arms, giving him an annoyed look.

"What was that for?"

He didn't say anything, but jerked his head towards the front door down the hall. You frowned and gave him a sideways look.

"I wasn't gonna go anywhere."

You looked down at the ground.

"Not like I can anyway..."

You muttered. Thomas narrowed his eyes at you. You looked to the side still glaring at the ground. The painful silence slowly enclosed the room as he stared at you. You gave a small sigh as you looked up at him.

You began to say something but paused. It wouldn't help to continue fighting. That would probably get you hurt or killed with him. The best thing to do was to reproach the situation.

"...sorry."

Thomas's gaze lightened as he gave a small nod.

"So...do you want breakfast or somethin?"

He gave a quick nod. You gave him a small smile as you looked around the kitchen.

"What do you want?"

He shrugged and looked around. 'Why doesn't he talk?'

"Okay...how does eggs and bacon sound?"

"Sounds good to me!"

You looked past Thomas to see Hoyt coming down the hallway. He gave you and Thomas a grin before stopping in the hallway. He looked from you to Thomas.

"So...how'd ya sleep?"

You glanced over to Thomas, he had alreadly been looking at you. You looked back to Hoyt.

"Fine. I was just about to make breakfast. Is there anything else you want besides eggs and bacon?"

"Coffee would be nice of ya."

You nodded and looked to Thomas. He seemed very tense. Hoyt seemed to catch onto this as well.

"How did you sleep, Tommy?"

Thomas tensed up, standing a little taller before nodding. Hoyt smirked and gave a small laugh.

"Good, good."

You were just about to finish breakfast when Thomas stopped. The whole meal had been very awkward. Hoyt kept looking from you to Thomas. You kept catching Thomas staring at you and Luda hadn't much to say. His attention was turned directly towards the window. You caught this and also started looking out the window.

What he was seeing, you had no idea but something had caught his attention. You squinted trying to see anything. Thomas on the other hand had his eyes locked on something.

Hoyt also stopped and turned around to see why you both of you had started watching the road. You could finally see something at the end of the driveway slowly coming up. It was a large van.

Thomas gave a low growl and Hoyt smirked. The van slowed down before stopping in front of the house. Five people hopped out. Three guys and two girls. Hoyt turned back to Luda.

"Look, mama, dinners here."

Your eyes widened and you gave him a strange look. He turned back to you, then looked over to Thomas. He look grew serious as he took a dark tone.

"Take her with you and go to your room. I'll call you up if I need you."

Thomas quickly got up and grabbed your arm again. He pulled you around the table to his side. He rushed you out in front of him, stopping in the doorway.

"And Thomas...don't let her go."

He turned back shoving you through the door.

You had just passed the front doors when a loud set of bangs erupted from the other side making you jump. Thomas jerked his head over before ripping open the basement door and shoving you down the stairs.
