The next day Tsunade and Minato was touring Kakashi around. And Naruto was sent a hell-tone of work. He had to study, take tests and everything. He sighed as he stayed in his room to work, occasionally taking a brake when he ended up coughing more. And every now and then would cough up blood.

Kakashi fiddled with his thumbs as he was being shown around. He seemed a little nervous and stressed. Tsunade tool notice to this and so did Minato.

Tsunade and Minato we're both giving him his show around tour because they we're both previous Kage. Minato laid a hand on his shoulder. And Tsunade stopped and looked at Kakashi.

"It's a lot to take in at first but being the Hokage isn't just a lot of work. You have a huge reputation to keep up." Minato explained. "You can visit school classes and give a lesson if you decided to. You assign missions. You can even have someone there by your side! Like a right hand man or woman."Minato hummed.

"I-i know." Kakashi nodded. "I just, never thought I would be the Hokage." He mumbled.

"You will do excellent Hateke." Tsunsde hummed. "Now! Onto the forbidden scroll library, locked in heavy security." She walked to a vault.

There was two anbu and a combination lock. After she opened It and gave Kakashi a slip of paper that held this combination. She held out a key to unlock the neck few doors before opening the door into the vault, this key she also handed over. Minato followed silently. He remembered Sarutobi showing him around when he became the Hokage. It was a lot to take in and nearly fried his brain.

After the whole tour Kakashi was shown the office last. He was familiar with this room. He sat down in the chair the Hokage we're to sit in once they were doing paperwork. In fact this room is the room they spend most of their time. Kakashi set his hands on the desk and he felt a lot of power on his shoulders.

"Now don't forget you have to make a speech." Tsunade stated.

"A what?" Kakashi looked at her.

"Every Hokage makes a speech after they receive their Hokage hat." Minato chuckled. "Remember mine?"

"Oh, right." He sighed. "Almost forgot about those." He frowned.

After Kakashi was allowed to return home he was fiddling with his thumbs. He was nervous about this speech thing. He was trying to think of what he would say, considering he only had two more days of being. Jonin before he was officially announced as Hokage.

He walked through his door and shut it gently. He fixed his mask so it was properly on and walked to his table in his kitchen and sat down. He looked at the picture of Obito and Rin, Minato and himself when they were children. He smiled weakly, although it only brought back fairly painful memories.

He decided to get up and cook. He was in the mood for some beef stew. So this man gathered the ingredients and threw them in the huge pot he had for this special dish he loved. He started cooking and watched the ingredients bath in the gravy like liquid that makes the stew so yummy. He was dazed in thought of what to say, what to do, how to present himself as a trustworthy guy. He was a war hero and all but he needed more then just that.

"Maybe I should invite the Uzumaki family over for dinner...crap, but it's almost done cooking. Darn I should have planned ahead." Kakashi sighed.

An idea popped into his head and he formed a clone. The clone already knew his job and bowed to Kakashi and walked out with a lazy, chilled demeanor.

The clone walked through the streets. He was stopped several times by some villagers wanting his autograph. He managed to slip past some and walked up to the house of the Uzumaki family and knocked.

Naruto, who was doing homework he found surprisingly easy thanks to experience he heard the gentle knock. He looked out the window to see who it was. And after realising it was Kakashi, his eyes narrowed.

He wasn't happy to see him.

Naruto stood and set his pencil down and walked to his door and opened it. He looked at his parents room to see it was cracked open. Minato and Kushina were watching a movie on their brand new TV the literally just got. The box was even still there in the hallway. Naruto walked down the stairs and to the door and paused once he started coughing.

"God damnit I got sick with something." He mumbled, looking at the blood on his hand.

He shoved the hand into his pocket and opened the door and smiled warmly at Kakashi's clone.

"Hello." He hummed.

"I am inviting you and your family over for di- is that alcohol I smell?" He shuddered lightly. "Why do you and your home smell like this?"

"My mom may have gotten drunk...and I may have gotten drunk with her." Naruto scratched the back of his neck.

"..." Kakashi shook his head in disappointment.

"Naruto who is that?" Kushina griped.

She walked down the stairs with a mad look until she saw Kakashi. She smiled widely and launched down the hallway, put the door and wrapped her arms around Kakashi's clone, causing him to fall on the ground, embraced tightly.

"HELLLLO!" She hummed. "I heard the news and was shocked ya know! I'm so proud of you!" She said, acting all bubbly.

She stood and the clone stood up.

"Thanks Mrs. Uzumaki. I appreciate your enthusiasm. Anyways, I was wondering if you want to come over for dinner. Your family. I made beef stew." He hummed.

"Well! That will spare my hands from cooking for one day! Alright. I accept on behalf of my husband and Naruto. He needs to get a break from studying anyways. I guess studying makes him cough or something." She giggled.

"Huh?" Kakashi tilted his head at her last statement.

"DAAAAADDD COOME DOWN HERE WE ARE ALL GOING TO KAKASHI'S HOUSE FOR DINNER!!!" Naruto called.

"BE RIGHT DOWN!" Minato called.

I'm less then a half second Minato was next to Naruto, making him jump in shock. Kushina was used to this factor and smiled warmly at her husband.

"Let's be off!" Kushina smiled.

She took Minato's hand in hers and Naruto's in her other and followed the clone of Kakashi. Minato and Naruto looked at one another. They we're both surprised she was acting so....nice! Like her old self. The way she SHOULD be acting all the time.

They reached the door of the Hatake residence and the clone opened the door and vanished. Kushina walked in with Minato and Naruto at her side. Kakashi fixed their bowls and smiled widely. Naruto walked over and hugged him weakly and went to his chair and sat down. Kushina and Minato talked with Kakashi about being Hokage, smothering him in 'good job's and 'i'm so proud of you's.

Soon everyone sat down as their bowls were out for them. They dug in and absolutely adored his cooking. It was amazing. Naruto blushed lightly and smiled widely and pecked Kakashi's hand.

"Absolutely yummy~." He purred.

"Thanks Naruto." Kakashi chuckled.

They finished eating and they all discussed with Kakashi about the honor it must be. But Kushina was kinds disliking it. As proud as she was. She wanted her son to be the Hokage. It was nagging at her brain. She hated the feeling of being outdone by someone else.

She looked at Naruto on the way home. She then looked down at the ground. Kushina sighed deeply.

"Naruto. You must become the next Hokage." She spoke, her red hair gently flowing in the wind. "I-i...I noticed how the villagers are staring...." She mumbles. "Y-you know, this city is pretty on the heads of Kage." She looked up at them.

Naruto followed her gaze and nodded. "It's gorgeous." He smiled weakly.

"I know how it feels...as ridiculous as that sounds." She chuckled lightly. "My parents were killed. So it was hard on me. I was brought from the land of yettis, just because of my highly skilled sealing Jutsu. And as a vessel for the nine tails." She placed a hand on her stomach. "I remember talking to the previous Jinchuriki before me, she stated many things, and was an Uzumaki like me. She helped me through this stress, until she died when they put that demon inside my belly. I remember the chakra that rushed through my body each time I got mad. It was scary." She sighed. "When I had you my seal loosened. And a masked man nearly killed you. He stole me away from Minato and unleashed the nine tails onto the village. Your father sacrificed his life for mine and yours." She looked at him. "Please....just repay him in anyway you can." She teared up. "The fact I could never do that for him tore me up. He was the only one to accept me for who I was, and he still loved me. He saved my life more then once in my life." She felt tears run down her face, she gripped his shoulders and looks at him. "PLEASE! Just help me! Repay him for me! I BEG YOU PLEASE! ITS TEARING ME APART! HE SACRIFICED HIMSELF FOR ME AND I CAN'T SHOW THAT COMPASSION BACK BUT YOY CAN BY FOLLOWING HIS FOOTSTEPS...IM SO SORRY FOR BEING S TERRIBLE MOTHER! IM SO SORRY NARUTO! I MADE YOU SUFFER THE SAME WAY I DID, AND WORSE! I HAD NO ONE WHO UNDERSTOOD MY PAIN, BUT YOU DO! AND I DIDN'T SEE THAT BECAUSE I WAS TOO DAMN DRUNK!" She broke down sobbing. "PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!!" She cried very loudly.

A crowd began to slowly form. They seemed worried about the distressed woman. Naruto growled and the crowd backed away. The frowning teen sighed and got down on his knees and hugged his crying mother.

"I forgive you." He spoke softly.

Kushina's eyes shot open in shock. She shook, he sounded just like Minato. She cried into his shoulder.

"What did I do to deserve a son like you?" She cried out.

"You gave me life." He smiled weakly.

Minato caught up after he finished lecturing Kakashi on table manners and Hokage stuff. He saw the crowd and told everyone to get back to their own lives. He saw his son and wife hugging. He walked to them and embraces the two.

"What happened?" He asked.

Kushina smiles. "He forgave me."

The family went to bed and the night turned to morning. They went out and bought loads of gifts for Kakashi. Including Jirayah's very first novel.

"Tales of a gutsy Ninja"

Jirayah joined them and recommended the book and told Naruto all about it. Naruto loved the fact he was named after the main character. Him and Jirayah split away from the married couple and let them enjoy time together. Naruto walked forwards with a happy skip in his step.

"I'm so happy for Kakashi." Jirayah hummed. "I'm wondering how he will positively affect this village as a whole." He pondered

"I'm sure he will keep it's well-being in mind." Naruto smiled. "I would. In fact knowing him, he will probably focus on rebuilding everything to gain the people's trust. That's what I'd do at least." Naruto shrugged.

"Your really growing up." Jirayah smiles at Naruto gently. "Never thought I'd see the day. Almost didn't actually." He chuckled.

"Heh, yeah." Naruto looked forwards.

Jirayah looked at the Kage heads and smiles. "I can't wait to see your face plastered perminantly in stone." He hummed.

"You are thinking too far ahead Pervy sage." Naruto snickered.

"I can't stop reminding you! Don't call me that!" He puffed his cheeks out like a kid.

"Hahahah!" He chuckled.

"Besides. I already know what Kakashi plans on doing with you." Jirayah mused.

"He tells you everything doesn't he?" Naruto groaned.

"Sadly...literally everything." Jirayah shuddered. "E.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g."

"...R.I.P. Your mind." Naruto chuckled.

They walked to the newly built ramen shop of Ichiraku ramen and waved. Naruto ordered his lunch and Jirayah did as well. Together the planned out what other gifts would be best for Kakashi.

In the Hokage tower within the office, Kakashi was doing paperwork to officially announced him as Hokage, Tsunade working alongside him. The two got work done twice as fast so it was a good effort. Kakashi planned on making Naruto study in this very room. He had already ordered a desk to be placed, which had come thirty minutes later after he finished signing a lot of papers.

"Well. Everything is set for you Kakashi. Have you prepared a speech?" She asked.

"Sorta." Kakashi shrugged.

"Good. At least you made progress. Most of the time. It clicks once you are greeted with the faces of the entire village, smiling up at you with wonder and curiosity. It's inspiring and empowering." She smiled and looked out the window and at the rebuilding city. "Gaara announced his departure from the sand to out village two days ago. He is due any hour now. He wishes to congradulate you at your ceremony." She looked at him.

"That's actually quite comforting." Kakashi sighed, half relieved.

"I'm glad you think that. Now go and relax. I suggest the hot springs " she hummed. "A new resort was just built on time for your ceremony. I sought to it that it would be quickly completed and you shall be the first customer upon reopening."

"Your a saint Tsunade." He was great ful. "That idea isn't bad at all. Later." He waved and walked out of the room.

Kakashi walked onto the streets and some people waved happily at him. Some others walked up and said hi. Kakashi made his way to the hot springs and too the door and stepped inside and signed in. He went to the male section and undressed, stepping into the hot water. Kakashi hummed in delight. He just took his time and relaxed, wanting this to last forever.

And sadly...he fell asleep...for two straight hours!

When he woke he yelled and got out, his lower half completely numb from being in the heated water for so long. He whimpered and got dressed. He went to pay but got it on the house and he bowed, thanking them. He left the building and headed for his home. He looked up at the sky to see the sun already setting.

"Time flies when you're trying to make it last." He frowned.

He walked inside his home and he dressed in pajamas and laid down in his king sized bed. Kakashi got comfortable and fell asleep, being mentally exhausted. He didn't even know, that at the Hokage tower awaited Gaara of the sand.

The day came with a roar. Presents rolled in the Homage tower and we're piled into the office by ninja gathering presents from the village folk. Naruto had already been by and his family tagged along. Them alone...got him fifty new things. This was happening while Kakashi was on an upper floor, dressed in his outfit Hokage where. He looked at himself in the mirror. Both of his eyes staring at him. His black eyes were booming with life.

"You look natural." Gaara stated. "you will be a great Hokage. I can tell." Gaara reassured him.

"Thanks Lord Kasekage." Kakashi bowed.

"None of this bowing nonsense. Your one of us. You are equals with the Kage now. The ones ranked under will bow. You accept it with humble attitude and respect." Gaara looked at him with a slight smirk if joy.

"How do you deal with this pressure?" He asked Gaara.

"Well..." Gaara paused for a good ten minutes." I just do something relaxing. And I have my Siblings to help me through it all. I'm sure Naruto will be helping you." Gaara hummed. "He's one hell of a person."

"Tell me about it." Kakashi giggles. "He will be put in Hokage training. And through school again. He will have to help me and everything." Kakashi spoke. "So he will know the feeling of being Hokage by the time he becomes one. He is already decided as the Seventh Hokage." Kakashi informed.

"Is he now?" Gaara perked up. "Hah! And that is brilliant. Mischievous. Helps with work so they have to suffer too. I do the same with my siblings!" He snickered.

Kakashi and Gaara snickered and almost sounded like villians when the two chatted amongst themselves. It was a bit scary.

Out of no where a knock sounded from the door. And an Anbu walked in.

"Sire's. It's time." He bowed.

"Understood." Gaara turned serious.

"Thank you kindly for informing me." Kakashi stated, almost bowing but stopped himself.

Gaara gave him a pat on the shoulder as they walked out.

Tsunade was giving a loud speech of the successes and downfalls of the village under her rule. She explained many things and the selections of Kakashi Hatake being the next Hokage worthy ninja, being widely known and skilled and very trusting. The crowd cheered. And below in the cheering crowd was the family of Uzumaki. But Naruto was with Sakura and Sasuke.

"I'm so honored to have a Hokage as a sensei." Sakura hummed.

"I'm proud to know him so we'll. He deserves this." Sasuke nodded.

"I'm so damn happy I'm the one he loves~." Naruto hummed.

"..." The two looked at Naruto.

"What?" Naruto looked confused.

"Nothing loser!" Sasuke smirked and pulled him in a head lock and ruffled his hair.

"AND NOW! THE VILLAGE HIDDEN IN THE LEAVES! I PRESENT TO YOU! KAKASHI HATAKE! THE SIXTH HOKAGE!" Tsunade announced.

Naruto looked up and watched as did his team, as Kakashi, wearing the hat came out into view. Sakura teared up and smiled happily. Sasuke smiled calmly and Naruto cheered very loudly.

"LOOKING SEXY HONEY!" Naruto screamed out.

Kakashi faintly heard him amongst the crowds of cheering people and blushed faintly. He waved and smiled under his mask. Gaara came out and shook his hand and patted his shoulders and stepped to the side. The crowd slowly got quiet as they expected the traditional speech of Kage.

Kakashi froze but it hit him...and he just opened his mouth and poured his heart out into his words, washing the crowds in an ocean of heart filled truth.

"MY FELLOW VILLAGE PEOPLE! Citizens of Konoha. I, as your next Hokage will do all in my power to oversee the reconstruction and technology advancement of this beautiful community! I will make sure all research will be funded and food and resources will be well provided! More homes and space will be build and I plan to expand this village!" Kakashi spoke. "We all have been through tough hardship lately. But time for sorrow and tears are over. Now. Is time to look ahead. With hearts pure and good willed and prevail in life! My fellow citizens. Follow me! And I will follow you! Without you, I am nothing. And without me you are without a leader. You are the true rulers of this village. Let's rule the right way, together " he smiled.

Everyone cheered. Minato and Kushina were in tears and so was Jirayah. Naruto and Sakura was as well. Even Tsunade was emotional.

"Well said." She smiled gently at him.

After Kakashi walked inside He was greeted by vip members. Being his team and Naruto's family. He was hugged and congradulate.

Kakashi now begins his position....and ruler of the village...
