The next day they set out. Naruto was with the group not ahead or behind. Cheo found out about Naruto being the host of the Nine tails and Naruto didn't show a liking to that subject.

They reached the hide out. There waiting was team guy.

"Naruto!" Lee smiled happily.

"You grew." Ten ten said.

"Good to see you again." Neji bowed.

"Well?" Naruto asked, looking st Guy.

"They are just beyond this point. Neji saw them..." Guy said. "It's a sealed barrier. Multiple points everywhere. We aggred apon going to these places. We have wireless headsets to take em down at once. But then the boulder poses a difficulty. Guy sighed.

"I'll smash it once the seal is broken." Sakura put on her gloves.

"Right!" Guy smiled.

They put their headsets on and tested them. And then headed out, Neji directing them to the right points while Kakashi remained on the boulder with the first tagged seal. Once in place, they all ripped them off.

Sakura then charged, she built up her chakra and just before ramming her fist in the rock she yelled.

"CHAAAA!!"

And just then, the huge rock came crashing down. The group charged in and what they saw...left them speechless. Naruto's eyes widened and he felt his heart almost stop.

"...!?" He teared up.

There, was the limp body of Gaara, and sitting on him was Sasori of the red sand...and...DEIDARA!

"Well well! Looks Like you were right Itachi...he did come." Deidara smirked.

Naruto felt arms grabbed Naruto's right where his shoulder joints and and gasped. There was Itachi.

Kakashi formed Chidori and sliced through the clone and it vanished.

"Heh, Itachi gladly isn't here...that was a trick." Deidara smirked.

Naruto growled. "WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR SITTING!?"

"Oh...you grew to have quite the temper Naruto." Deidara laughed.

"Get off of him!" Naruto growled.

"Why? He makes a great cushion." Sasori said.

"...gggrrr! I SAID GET OFF!" Naruto growled.

He took a few steps forwards but Kakashi grabbed his arm and shook his head.

"Naruto Don't." Kakashi said.

Deidara formed a huge clay monster and it swallowed Gaara and flew out. Naruto teared up and dashed after him.

"NARUTO WAIT!" Kakashi gasped and ran after him.

Deidara smirked and lead the two away from the battle, Kakashi wasn't as fast as the other two though and fell behind, but kept them in his sights.

Naruto's red eyed burned. He ran forwards and he ran after the man he hated. Kakashi managed to take the Bird down. Naruto ran to it and didn't find Deidara...but he did rip the thing apart to coins his friend.

Naruto saw Gaara and smiled gently.

"H-hey...Gaara...are you okay?" Naruto asked with tearful eyes.

He gently shook Gaara and Gaara remained unresponsive and didn't reply. Naruto felt tears run down his face and his lip quivered.

"Pleas wake up." Naruto begged.

No response. Naruto pulled Gaara out and hugged him, shaking. His breathing hitched. Jirayah caught up with Kakashi and saw Naruto and looked at Kakashi.

"Kakashi...get back..." Jirayah said.

"Why?" Kakashi asked.

"Trust me..." Jirayah said.

Kakashi backed into some bushes with Jirayah and they watched him.

Naruto yelled out in emotional pain and cried.

"YOU BASTARDS KILLED HIM! ILL RIP YOU TO SHREDS!" Naruto screamed.

A cloak of the Nine tails chakra formed around him and he tore the are a around him to shreds. He shook and he sensed the enemy and smirked widely. He suddenly teleported to him and punched him into the opening and punchrd Deidara repeatedly. A second tail formed on the cloak and he shot a Rasengan through Deidara, actually wanting to kill him but found out about him being a clone and his eye twitched.

Jirayah ran out with slip of paper in his hand and charged at Naruto. He stopped about ten feet away from him, seeing how Naruto was expertly in a defensive position that could block any attacks in front, his sides and behind him.

"Naruto its me Jirayah, calm down." Jirayah said.

Naruto looked at Jirayah and behind him was a transparent Kushina. Naruto growled and bent down low to the ground, his claws extended a lot and he looked about ready to lunge.

Kakashi jumped into view and walked past Jirayah...taking a risk. Naruto hissed and his tails lashed out violently behind him.

"Kakashi! Are you crazy!?" Jirayah grabbed his wrist.

Naruto growled and attacked Jirayah. Kakashi got in the way and Naruto's claws dig into Kakashi's shoulder. Kakashi held him in place and Jirayah slapped the peice of paper on his forehead and the chakra around him dissipated into nothing.

Naruto leaned onto Kakashi, his eyes going dull and his body going weak as his chakra plummeted. Jirayah took the paper off and sighed. Sakura and A weak Cheo arrived, battered and a little bloody but Jirayah assumed they were victorious in their battle with Sasori.

"Is Naruto Okay? Did you get yoyr guy?" Sakura asked.

"...He got away but he has to be somewhere nearby." Kakashi said.

"Your wounded!" She gasped and started to heal his shoulder.

Naruto looked at Kakashi as Kakashi held him. He groaned and looked over his shoulder to see the dead Gaara. He teared up and hid his face in Kakashi's chest. He felt bad, very awful in fact.

Fighting took place in the distance, team Guy discovered Deidara's whereabouts thanks to Neji's Beakugan. Sadly Deidara "commuted suicide" and exploded. Kakashi used his new sharingan mode and vanquished the explosion, but it drained him of chakra.

*Naruto's POV*

Her words won't leave my head anymore...they were so clearly spoken.

"Naruto. How can you live with yourself. You are unwanted. A monster. And a person who breaks their promises. You couldn't bring Sasuke back, and you won't bring Gaara back either. How do you Tsunade will feel? She might even strip you of your ninja headband, or send you to prison."

I believe her...I'm unwanted...I failed to get Gaara back. I'm useless. I attacked Jirayah...again...

And I hurt Kakashi...

None of this would have happened ic it weren't for Cheo. And I remember her regretting the fact she sealed Shukaku in Gaara...this is her fault of you extend it.

"Naruto wait up." Sakura called for me.

I extending my hand and clones formed. They grabbed Gaara and brought him back to me. I carried him Bridal styled and walked through the tree line. The others groaned and followed. I looked down at Gaara and teared up.

"I was too late...I'm so sorry Gaara." I cried as I walked. "I'm always too late. I just...I need to be stronger. Is this how Sasuke feels?" I asked myself softly.

We reached an open field where the sand will meet up with us. I gently laid down Gaara and looked at him. Cheo frowned and walked up to us. I growled.

"Stay back!" I snapped.

"Please. Let me -"

*3rd person POV*

"NO! THIS IS YOUR FAULT! ALL OF IT! IF SHUKAKU WASN'T SEALED WITHIN HIM BY YOU OLD HAG, GAARA WOULD STILL BE ALIVE! AND ANOTHER THING. WHY DO YOU LABEL US!? WHERE DO YOU GET OFF. CALLING US JINCHURIKI, LIKE WE AREN'T EVEN HUMAN. YOUR ALL TERRIBLE BEINGS!" Naruto sliced a gash into Cheo's arm.

She winced and Kakashi and guy gasped.

"Naruto!" Sakura and Lee said, alarmed.

"Naruto calm yourself." Neji and ten ten frowned.

"Naruto take deep breaths or you might a-" Jirayah was cut off by the enraged Genin.

"MIGHT WHAT!? ATTACK YOU!? MAME YOU!? KILL YOU!? GO AHEAD AND SAY IT!" Naruto's heard turned to Fox ears and nine Fox tails formed behind him and flaws grew and his fangs grew as well. "CALL ME A MONSTER. A DEMON. JUST LIKE YOU DID TO GAARA! EXCEPT I WON'T BE THE ONE DEAD YOU WILL!" Naruto barked.

Everyone was shocked.

"Naruto. I can bring him back." Cheo said.

"What?" Naruto lowered his claws.

I can bring him back, but have not enough chakra. I will need help." She spoke.

"Alright. I'll do anything." Naruto said.

She walked over and they sat down in either side of him.

"Lay your hands on mine." She said as she rested hers on Gaara's chest.

Naruto did so and his eyes shot open and his chakra was yanked into Gaara and hers as well. Naruto winced and soon began to sweat. She did as well. Kakashi walked to Naruto's side and sat down next to him placing a hand on his back to hold him upright. Sakura did the same but for Cheo.

"Gggrr..."Naruto grunted and leaned On Kakashi lightly.

He had deep circles nude his eyes and Naruto was having a huge headache from crying. He shook lightly and his mindscape reached out to Gaara's and he closed his eyes.

"Gaara!" Naruto calls out.

Soon he felt a warm hand and Gaara jolted awake. Around him was the sand village. Gaara looked around and saw a Weakened Naruto and a dead Cheo. And a lot of tearful eyes from the Sand, them all worried and happy he was alright they cheered as he woke.

Naruto smiled. "Saved ya." Naruto chuckled lightly and leaned back in his Sensei's arms and smiled warmly.

Although he was happy...Naruto felt a little dead inside.
