The group was now in the land of waves, Walk in along a path into the island and towards the master bridge builder's house. Sasuke was more protective now, keeping alert, looking everywhere. He was mainly like this because last time they were jumped Naruto came close to being murdered. Naruto was ticked about him freezing up. Although it was his first battle with enemy ninja, he felt like he should've been braver. The group walked down a long dirt path, everyone was tense almost and alert. Naruto was using his fox ears to try and hear any breathing or movement that would be made by a human, and sure enough, he heard two, one very light on their feet and another almost impossible to hear, a potential assassin. Naruto heard a loud rustle in the leaves and on reflex he threw a kunai, making everyone jump. Naruto ran over but saw a pale white winter bunny and grew tense, feeling another pair of eyes on him. Sakura punched Naruto in the head and yelled at him.

"You IDIOT!" Sakura growled.

"Sorry bunny!" Naruto hugged the shocked bunny and let it go.

A huge sword suddenly flew out of nowhere right into the group, making everybody duck and tense. Naruto looked at the sword that was now high up and lodged into a tree and noticed a man standing on it. The man seemed to be glaring at Kakashi and Tazuna. Naruto could tell by the guy's posture that he was powerful and not to be taken lightly.

"Well, if it isn't Kakashi, the copy cat ninja." Zabuza chuckled.

Sasuke activated his Sharingan and Kakashi pulled up his mask and he turned out to have one as well, making Naruto blush slightly. Naruto backed up and held a kunai, protecting the bridge builder. The place surrounded with fog and Zabuza held his sword and vanished.

"Kakashi...where are you i can't see." Sakura whimpered, scared.

Naruto suddenly tensed and felt eyes staring at him. Naruto looked over and saw Zabuza, directly behind him, smirking under the bandages, Sakura screamed and Tazuna gasped.

"Hey kid. You seem very special~ that or you're just a freak. I might kill her first." Zabuza chuckled lowly.

Zabuza swung his blade but Kakashi and Sasuke suddenly kicked the blade and held a Kunai at his neck. Kakashi stabbed him but he chuckled, turning into water.

Naruto tensed as Zabuza's swing came out of nowhere and slashed Kakashi in half. Naruto yelled in fear but Kakasi turned into water and Naruto held his hand over his heart.

"Uhg...I think I'm going to have a heart attack." Naruto mumbled to himself.

Kakashi ran out and his Kunai clashed with Zabuza's large sword. Zabuza then kicked Kakashi, sending him flying through the air and into the lake next to them. Naruto was scared now, about to freeze up. Sasuke was like that too, because of the thick bloodlust in the air. Sakura stayed back, next to Tazuna, who was watching the battle with fear.

Zabuza walked up to Kakashi and quickly trapped him, in a juts called Watter Prison Jutsu.

"Kakashi!" Naruto gasped.

Naruto growled and he ran forwards, in a blind rage and determination to set his sensei free.

"NARUTO STAY BACK! RUN! YOU STAND NO CHANCE AGAINST A JONIN!" Kakashi yelled.

Naruto stopped before he reached the water and looked at him.

"Heh, Kakashi I will kill you last...first...I will kill your pathetic Genin." Zabuza chuckled.

A clone formed in the water, a clone of Zabuza and it charged at Naruto.

*Naruto's POV*

I pulled out a Kunai and waited. The clone ran at me with his fist reaching forwards. Suddenly my vision seemed to glitch. Zabuza turned into the rogue ninja with the claw like weapon...and then, my mom. I froze, my body stood still, like a statue, even my breathing stopped. She came at me with a bloody Kunai in her hand.

I was punched in the gut instead of stabbed and I was sent flying into the treeline, far into the treeline, the last thing I heard was kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura shouting my name at the same time. My back hit into a tree, and before I hit the ground the world faded into black.
