New York (Months after the funeral)

I sat in front of the computer, reading the files while flipping through the physical copy. "Have you been pulling an all-nighter?" My partner Min asked, setting down a cup of rose tea beside me.

"I have to find out how Julius died. Why is there even a file of the president in that base?" I explained.

"He's getting impeached today. CNN is reporting on that." He added, turning on another holographic screen. Anderson Cooper is now reporting from the Senate Building.

"This is just in people : President Lucas Wintergreen has been impeached by a two-third vote by the Senate. This is by far the first president to be removed from power in history. The government is already starting to search for a replacement."

"Oh, that was unexpected." I said. But my eyes caught sight on a contract. The contract was a arms deal contract, signed by the Syrian President and... our president?! "Wait! Why was he impeached?"

"They say he was taking bribes." Min replied.

"What? This is another incriminating evidence. The Syrian president has an arms deal signed with the very president that sent us into Syria to take the pro-government forces out!"

"Wait, you sure that you're not suffering from trauma?"

"No!" I said angrily. "I'm fine!"

"Holy... wait, that guy was covering his tracks by killing your commander?"

"I think LGF knows about the files." I replied. "That's why the pro-government forces captured him." I added alarmingly. "He knew too much."

"Yeah."

"I'm keeping them. You and Chan aren't allowed to touch it."

"You're the boss, boss." He said.

Present Day

"I remembered." I said suddenly to the now squabbling heads of states. Jerked by the words all of them turned to look at me.

"What?" Prime Minister Grant asked.

"There's a top secret file. It convinces me about something." I said, dashing out of the room. Returning to the bunker I took out a large envelope from my bag and reentered the room again. "Here." I said, placing the files on the desk. "Files from the previous administration." Dad's eyes went wide when he reads through the file.

"Where did you get this?" He asked.

"Operation Battle Desert." I replied. "Hell, my friends died. This is the evidence that we can convict Lucas Wintergreen."

"Isn't he now on trial?"

"Pending sir." I replied. "The contract..."

"... was intended to sell nukes to the pro-government forces." Dad continued. The others are wearing the holy shit expression on their faces as I retrieved the files from my father. "Since when is the American government profitting from the Syrian War?"

"Julius died before handing the file to me. You think that he is going to die in vain? Hell no."

"Language young lady." Prime Minister Gray said.

"This is no time to talk about language." I said. "This is the world's safety at bay here. There is no time for mannerisms Madam Prime Minister Gray." I said. "I am going to burn down that bastard's house if I have to."

"Mr. President. We can depart for the White House now." Barrowman added.

"Good. We depart now. Are the choppers ready for them?"

"Yes sir."

The White House, Washington D.C.

The choppers landed on the landing point and we descended. The press was standing by at the Rose Garden, their cameras snapping away when they saw our little group comprises of the heads of states. "Mr. President! Mr. President!" The reporters called out. Dad stepped on the podium, facing the media with a grimacing expression. "Mr. President! Mr. President! Who is behind the attacks? Who killed the President of China?"

"Mr. President! Mr. President! Who was behind all this?" Dad raised a hand, signalling them to be quiet.

"First things first. I have to apologize to you, the American people we have disappointed for days."

"Skip the apologizing Mr. President." Anderson Cooper interrupted. "Tell us what happened."

"I'll take over." I said, covering the microphone.

"Madam Vice President!" A reporter called.

"You all wanted the truth. I will tell."

"Madam Vice President. We need answers." Cooper demanded.

"This-" I said, holding up the folder. "-is the truth that you want." Slamming the folder on the desk I withdrew a piece of paper and held in the air. "Former President Lucas Wintergreen has conspired to assassinate my father and me upon our accension." The whole lawn was silent. "Who remembered Operation Battle Desert?"

"I do ma'am. You're part of the squad under Lieutenant General Forest."

"We wouldn't found out this if we didn't rescue our commander." I continued. "Is our former president, the Wintergreen Administration, is selling weapons to the Assad Regime?" The reporters all went into an uproar, trying to reach the podium but the Secret Service blocked them. "This is the evidence we need to convinct this president that shamed our country beside corruption charges." Then I stepped down the podium, the files in my arm. The Secret Service held back the crowd as we entered the White House.

"You found another top secret file?" Dad asked me.

"My predecessor left me the documents before I was sworn in. He told me to not trust his president."

"Clever." He said. "He wanted to kill us so that he can make a come back, shoving the blame on us."

"Maybe." I said. "But I'm not fully convinced sir."

"Well I do. I know that he orchestrated the attack to make us look bad, make the people to believe that the Reagan administration failed to contain terrorist attacks. I can tolerate that but what he did to you..." dad continued, holding my hand in his. "... is unforgivable. You can mess with Jeffery Christian Reagan but you don't mess with anyone I cared, including my daughter."

"Dad." I said. "Don't worry. I won't."

"China and Russia bankrolled the TRJ isn't it?"

"There are documents to support it sir." I replied as the Secret Service opened the door of the Oval Office for us to enter. "This file contains them." I said, placing the files on the desk. "I kept this file classified. I was going to expose him although I cared little about the impeachment."

"The presidential order didn't came during the Syrian Civil War. It was after we both took power."

"Yes sir. When you sent me to investigate corrupt officials I was investigating for reports about this president at that time." I answered as he took the seat at the desk while I took the one opposite him. "I got this from my predecessor."

"He had classified dossiers?"

"Yes, here are transactions between the countries and the TRJ. That's why I distrusted the Russian and Chinese government." I supported my claim by handing out the papers of secret bank transactions. "We can't publicly confront Russia and China. They can deny it easily because the money can't be traced back to them yet."

"So then... are we supposed to sit back and let maniacs run the world?" Dad asked, sitting back and tapping his finger on the paper.

"You're in charge Mr. President. You should decide yourself."

"We'll keep an eye on them for the being." Dad concluded.
