Soo, this is pretty much the last chapter before the epilogue, and I hope everyone enjoyed my story! I am really really really really really considering doing a sequel, but don't count on getting it right away. I'd need to brainstorm and whatnot...you knows.
This is dedicated to ALL OF YOU. Without you, I wouldn't have a reason to write a story, and I thank you all for the wonderful support and inspiration you've given me.
The song, I thought was a PERFECT match for the last chapter of it. So give it a listen :)
I don't have time to make a slideshow of Robin and my dorm...so just...use ur imagination, lol. Maybe ill post it on a chapter of Magical!
This is really one of the only stories I've ever completed, so YAY! Cheer with me!!! And go to my facebook page and like me on there to see what I'm planning on doing NEXT!

Chapter 29
I dreamed. My dreams were full of everything I wanted in my life: I saw myself marrying Ian, we were content in our country estate with a handful of children and Harvey, barking happily. The dream faded though, and I was lying on the ground in the forest. I could feel the cold ground through my clothing, the blood spilling across my body onto the soft grass, and the unbearable pain in my chest…
I screeched out in pain and my eyes shot open. I was breathing heavily, and the sound of a heart monitor seemed to be screaming in the room. I fought against the wires I felt in my arms and felt confused out of my mind. What was going on? Where was I?
“Lana! Please calm down!” a nurse shouted at me and I looked over at the woman, wide-eyed. I tried to steady my breathing, but it was difficult as all the memories of what had happened brought themselves out. I started to cry, remembering the fear and the cold of the woods as I fell to the ground. “It’s all right Lana, you’re fine now.” She assured me. “Look at me Lana, and calm your breathing. You’re going to be okay.”
My sobs quieted and I was able to look around the room. I was in a large, private hospital room. I didn’t recognize it as the last hospital I had been in…which made sense as we had been out in the country. “Where’s Ian?” I croaked, my voice still scratchy.
“The prince is currently detained, but this is one of the few times he’s left your side.” She said, adjusting my pillows and bedding around me. She started taking my vitals, humming quietly. I was still tired and sure that I looked it. I cleared my throat and the nurse looked at me, expectantly.
“I need to go the bathroom.” I groaned, feeling helpless and in pain. She nodded and helped me up and over into the bathroom. As I washed my hands, I caught my reflection in the mirror and scowled. I looked absolutely terrible. There were dark, purplish shadows under my eyes and my face looked sunken in. I had lost some color, looking paler than usual. I cleared my throat again and washed my face, hoping it would help. I blinked hard a few times too, as my contacts were still in my eyes and they felt dry. It was an irritating feeling, on top of everything else.

The nurse (who I learned was Judy) then helped me into the shower so I could clean myself up. I felt a little better after the shower, though there was still that horrible tight pain in my chest and the fact that I couldn’t move my left arm. It was awkward letting Judy help bathe me, but I was in so much pain that after a little while, I really didn’t care. After the shower, she redressed my wound and helped me into some pajamas that had been brought for me. It wasn’t long that I realized how much I was going to love Judy. She brushed my hair and braided it, helped me take out my contacts to put on my glasses, and fed me when I couldn’t really move.
It was another hour and she left me alone in my room with the telly on and the lights dimmed. I was relaxing in the dark, half conscious when I heard the door open slowly. In peeked Ian, looking even worse for wear. He had dark shadows under his eyes too, a pallid complexion, and bloodshot eyes as if he hadn’t been sleeping. Judy had told me I had been out for about three days and there had been nonstop visitors for the first two. Ian had only left that morning because of a press conference explaining everything from my two incidents to our engagement.
I looked over at Ian entering and his eyes opened wide when he saw I was awake. I was suddenly enveloped in a tight hug that made me groan in pain. “Oww…” I wheezed and he let go.
“Sorry, sorry.” He apologized, before starting to rain little kisses on my face and neck as he whispered, “I love you so much,” over and over again. “Are you feeling any better? Do you need anything? Do you need a nurse? Are you hungry?”
“Stop, stop.” I laughed, though even that hurt to do. “Ow…anyway, I feel better I guess. And no, I don’t need anything. Judy has been amazing all morning.” I explained, resting my hand on his cheek and stroking it softly. “So, tell me what happened.”
Ian didn’t start immediately. He pulled a chair over to my bed and took my hands in his. “You scared the bejeezus out of me, I’ll have you know.” He started and I grinned at his word-usage. “When I came outside and saw you on the ground, I couldn’t think. I didn’t know what to do. If it wasn’t for Chad being there, I don’t know what would have happened. We got you into the ambulance and that’s when you passed out.”
“I remember that much.” I said, nodding.
“They searched the woods for Logan and found him yesterday. He’s been arrested and everything’s being handled, so don’t worry about any of that.” I nodded, closing my eyes and lying back on the bed, feeling a little more relaxed than before. It was nice to know that he was finally not roaming the streets.
There was a moment of silence and I brought up the other subject. “How did the press conference go? I’m sure you’ve sufficiently shocked society.”
“They definitely enjoy the fact that stories seem to follow you like a dark shadow.” He said, mildly. “As for the engagement, there was a moment of silence and then a flurry of questions. I told them that everything would be released later in a private interview I have scheduled with the two of us.”

“Ugh, I have to talk?” I grumbled and Ian laughed. “Come on, haven’t I been through enough already?”
“I know, I know. But, this will be better than just me being there. Your my advisor, you’re supposed to tell me what I am allowed and not allowed to say.”
I pursed my lips. “You’re right. Just don’t say anything. I’ll do all the talking.” That got me a hearty laugh from him, which ended in a sigh.
“Lana,” Ian said, his tone serious.
“Hm?”
“Don’t ever scare me like that again.” He kissed my lips softly and I smiled.
“I’ll try my best.”
Later, I had more visitors. My mother was insatiable when she came into the room, throwing herself over me dramatically and crying. She was sobbing in French, and I rolled my eyes, patting her back. Ian was holding in laughter and Aunt Patty was rolling her eyes along with me.
“Okay Anais, let the girl rest. She’s been through a lot.” Aunt Patty said, pulling my mother off me. I sent her a grateful glance.
“Oui, oui. Of course. Rest my bebe, I will be back soon.” She kissed my forehead and left the room with Aunt Patty.
“Why is it that your mother and Patricia are twins, and yet one has a French accent, and the other does not? They seem so different, yet they’re identical.” Ian said, looking genuinely puzzled.
“Because my grandparents divorced when they were babies. My grandmother stayed in France with my mum, and Aunt Patty went with my grandfather to his new job over in London. It wasn’t as if they never saw each other, but the majority of the time they were apart. Different schools, different homes.” I explained, flippantly. “They would see each other on holidays, not much more than that.”
“Hm…” Ian considered, looking up at the ceiling.
“What are you thinking about?” I asked him after a moment and he smiled, turning his gaze to me.
“Just remembering how beautiful your body is.” He smirked when my face flushed and I smacked his arm.
“Ian!”
“What? I’m being completely honest. You were so nervous, and you had that adorable blush on your cheeks. Hurry up and get better. I want to see that excitement in your eyes again.” He poked my leg and I scowled.
“Stop making me blush!”
“But I like it.”
“You’re mean.”
“You’re meaner. Going and getting shot…” I stuck my tongue out at him and he returned it.
“You two are ridiculous, you know that?” I looked up to see Christine walking in the room with a smile stretched across her lips.
“Christine!” I said, excitedly and she traipsed over, graceful as ever, and gave me a gentle hug.
“You had us worried. Poor Ian here looked as if he were going to die from shock. He looked absolutely terrible. The worst I’d ever seen him. Even you would have told him he looked bad.” She said, patting her brother’s shoulder and he flicked her.
“Don’t talk about me like I’m not here.” He snapped at her.
“I’m sorry about it ruining your party, Christine.” I said, a frown on my face and she shook her head.
“I don’t care about it. I’m just glad you’re okay. And now, I have Greg and we’re official as of yesterday. At least according to the press. By the way Ian, I watched your press conference and you really should have taken some deep breaths first and practiced in front of a mirror. You looked like you were miles away.”
“I was.” He answered simply, glancing at me and I felt myself smile.
“I love you. And I’m okay.” I said.
“Love you too.” He responded, looking embarrassed and I giggled.
“I love it when you’re the one embarrassed.” I teased and his scowl deepened.
“Shut up.” He muttered and I poked his arm.
“You’re adorable.”
“Uh huh, you too.”
I looked down at the ring on my finger and felt a warm flutter in my chest. “You’re queen material you know.” Christine said, watching me with a smile.
“I don’t know about that.” I said, abashed.
“She’s right. You’re everything a queen should be. Strong, smart, distinguished, proper and polished,” He went on and I stopped him, holding up my hand.
“Let’s not think about that right now. All I want to think about, is you. And I want to plan my wedding now.” I said and Christine’s eyes lit up.
“YES! Oh Lana! I’ve been waiting to ask you when we could start because I want to help so much, but I wasn’t sure if I should wait until you get better or if I should just get some ideas and bring them to you, or whatever your style was. I didn’t even know what to bring you so I started with a lot of pink, and then I remembered that you aren’t really a big fan of pink so I went after every other color that popped into my head and…”
“Christine!” I shouted.
“Yes?”
“Slow down, and wait. At least until I’m out of the hospital.” I laughed and she seemed to deflate.
“Okay.”
“Don’t worry. You’re the first person on my list to help me, maid of honor.” I added and her eyes widened even more at my words. She gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and headed for the door.
“I have to go tell mum!” She said excitedly before leaving the room and I looked over at Ian who still seemed to be in shock from what had happened.
“I have a feeling this is going to be another adventure…” I told him and he took my hands in his, kissing them gently.
“I’m up for anything, once you’re there.” Ian answered, leaning forward and pressing a kiss against my lips.
Happy ending: Check.

I thought the happy ending : check thing would be cute since Lana always has a blasted checklist in front of her. it would make sense that she had one for her lifes' goals, lol.

The Rocky Shore
This is a LitRPG series. Every story you read here takes place in the same virtual world, with the same rules and limitations. Characters will travel, explore vast and dangerous realms, overcome obstacles, meet one another, enter into conflicts with one another, forge alliances, make horrible mistakes, and occasionally just die. A technological singularity has been achieved, and humanity has been trapped in a virtual world by a super-intelligent, self-improving artificial intelligence. This program is not malicious at all. In fact, it desires nothing except the happiness and fulfillment of every human it has copied into itself. If its decisions seem strange to you, that's only because its reasoning is far beyond ours. It recognizes that humans cannot be happy without enemies to overcome and goals to achieve, as well as the possibility of failure and death. The world it has created may be heaven or hell, depending on the free choices of the people it contains. The non-player characters who live in this realm have no idea that they are part of a vast computer system. They seem real enough, but there is no way to tell if they are truly self-aware. Even the system that created them isn't certain. This is world in which all the things that humans are used to dealing with in the abstract: skills, talents, knowledge, reputation, social status, morality, even love, exist as readable statistics that players can see and interact with objectively. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.

That Scottish Play
This is a very silly and cringey parody of Shakespeare's Macbeth. The play format will be kept consistent throughout. Unless you enjoy cringing so hard you experience physical pain, I'd suggest avoiding this work. However, as the level of cringe is only slightly less than that of the office, any fans of that show may enjoy this work. (I believe, as a parody, this work is protected from copyright by fair use, additionally, Shakespeare is in the public domain so it doesn't fall under copyright in the first place. If I'm wrong please let me know)
