CHAPTER 13

Minho's hand touched the chip at the same as Thomas touched the other one.

Thomas had grabbed his own chip and Minho had grabbed the other.

Minho's hand started shaking and then his arm, and finally his whole body was convulsing.

Thomas's body also started shaking, starting slowly then speeding up till it matched the same pace as Minho. Minho's body slowly stopped but Thomas's body didn't and it didn't look like it would stop anytime soon. Brenda was in shock. As was Minho as soon as he snapped out if it.

Thomas's body kept shaking. He looked like he was going through the Changing. His skin a yellowish color slowly turning darker.

His clothes were slowly becoming teared at the bottom and slowly turning black.

Minho noticed that he had dropped his chip to the floor and reached down to pick it up.

Again as soon as his hand has touched the chip, his body was shaking all over again.

Inside his head he realized that if he dropped the chip, his body would stop shaking.

"DROP THE CHIP DROP THE CHIP DROP THE SHUCKING CHIP!" He yelled inside his mind. His brain told his arms and his arms told his hands. Then Minho was standing again, watching Thomas still shake.

"HE NEEDS TO DROP THE CHIP!" Minho yelled to Brenda, snapping her out of her shocked state.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW?!" She yelled back.

"BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT I DID AND IM HERE SHUCKIN STANDING!" Minho screamed. "JUST HELP ME GET HIM TO DROP THE CHIP!"

Brenda nodded. "OKAY! HOW ARE WE GONNA DO THAT?!"

Minho thought for a split-second then yelled back, "I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO

SHUCKING IDEA!"

Brenda looked kind of annoyed. "WELL ARENT YOU A LITTLE RAY OF HELPFUL SUNSHINE?!"

Minho looked even more annoyed. "LOOK WE NEED TO SAVE THOMAS! LETS JUST OPEN UP HIS PALM AND THE CHIP WILL FALL OUT! ON 3! 1....2....3!" As Minho said the final number, they both sprang into action, trying to un-clasp Thomas's hand from around the chip.

Slowly they got each finger off. And slowly Thomas stopped shaking. Then he stopped, it was over. Minho walked over to Thomas and said "hey man you alright?"

"um yeah I guess I could be better?"

"okay then greenie."

Brenda made a noise and said "I told you something would happen."

"Alright listen here you".... Minho started. What he was about to say he would never finish. Because right then Thomas started choking. Himself. Hands wrapped around his neck, finger turning white from the harsh grip. Face turning blue. And then he fell. And he didn't get up.
