Ruby liked him too so there was no point in going for him.

John acted differently around Ruby he would always make an excuse to talk to her and being my friend then I guess that was easy enough.

A few days went by with drama...

John asked Ruby out and Ruby said yes. Melissa just wanted to forget him and restart. Melissa gave up all her crushes just because Ruby liked them too. It always left Melissa so heart broken even to the point where she would cry.

Melissa didn't want John or Ruby to hate her so she hid her feelings. She kept it in but she just wanted to shout it all out!

John sent her so many mixed signals. She thought he liked her but no. He saw her as a family.

She was so confused. She always tried to talk to him but his friend would always drag him away but it was ok for Ruby to hang out with him. Not Melissa...

"Why? It's just a pattern..." Melissa thought. John would only care if she cried but when she wanted to talk to him as normal it always would seem so hard.

He always used the "FAMILY" thing but really Melissa thought that he only did it because she was friends with Ruby.

Thump thump thump

Her locket turned dim... and it cracked a bit.

"Why is it my heart that gets broken no matter what..."

A tear fell down her eye....

Sadly this chapter is based on something that happened to me... I'm fine but I'm just hurt...

So at the end of this chapter I have decided to give you my lesson I learnt the hard way...

It's not love if you are peered pressured into saying yes.

You have to know that person don't fall for looks.

Build trust.

Also sometimes helping your friend get someone you like but they like them too. Just know it's going to hurt.

Also know that if you love someone there's always going to be a heart break.

You can not force someone to love you if they don't.

Be happy if your crush or someone you like is taken by someone or your friend.

Show support.

Never give up on love.

Maybe it's not the right time for you.

And I know it's not the right time for me but I always fall for the same trap.

Of heart break...

But no matter what still smile because even though that boy sent me so many mixed signals and pushed me away be happy because you still have them as a friend.
