As soon as consciousness come back to her, she blinks open her eyes, taking an extra moment to gather herself.

The first thing she saw when she open her eyes is the enlarged image of one of her soulmate, Luciano's gorgeous face with their lips just a breath away from touching each other.

Ara scrambles away in panic, kicking and shoving the bodies of her soulmates in her way unintentionally before sitting on the ground, still wide eyed from the heart racing incident.

"Who's that?!"

She instantly froze.

Heart thumping loudly, she swallowed nervously before summoning her power, covering her body and her three soulmates' with a layer of darkness, just in time before a head popped out from a corner, staring at the space they are at with intense but bewildered eyes.

"Nothing?" The Italian man makes a sound of confusion before his steps faded away as he walks farther away from them.

Ara let out a breath she never knew she was holding, but then her heart rate picks up again when she hears a commotion on the opposite side of her.

As she stands to look at the situation, a body came flying, passing by her at alarming speed and slams against the wall. Her eyes buldge out with disbelief as she stares at the rather big dent left on the concrete wall. What a strength!

"Figlio di putana! What are you waiting for there? Finish him!" The man leading them barks. Following that, all the men raise their weapons, firing rapidly at Valentino standing beside a car.

The sounds of shots fired off echoed through the night air, disturbing its earlier calmness and serenity.

Valentino dodges every single bullet with purpose, his perfect reflexes work like a dream, every movement is intentional and with much ease as if he was just strolling around the park on a cloudy day.

Ara's eyes shine with admiration, but then darken when the possibility of her soulmates that were lying, scattering on the floor getting hurt entered her mind. She couldn't forgive herself if her soulmates hurt when she could prevent it.

With a deep breath, she flutter close her eyelids, summoning her power deep within her. When she opens her eyes again, they mirror a colorful night sky with stars shining far.

She summons the darkness to hear her command, and like greedy little fishes, they swam to her rapidly, eager to please and be of use to her.

In a blink of an eye, Valentino and all of his brothers vanish to thin air into front of the group of Italian, leaving them baffled.

"What's going on? Where is him?"

"He just vanishes into thin air!"

"What the fuck?"

Ara tuned out of the commotion and strides towards Valentino and Kairo with Luciano across her shoulder and Isaac and Raphael under her armpits. She have to freeze Luciano's torso to her shoulder so he wouldn't fall to the ground.

The Mafia men went away into the darkness, to find them elsewhere maybe.

She grunts in complain as she puts her soulmates on the ground with others, but didn't look up when she finishes.

She could feels their questioning gazes on her.

"Kairo, can you do your magic again? To send us home?"

He nodded. "Yeah, but I need a little time."

"Take your time, we are not in hurry." She answers, beads of sweat trickling down her forehead.

Crap, she was draining.

She looks around to ensure they are the only one around, before her eyes turn back to normal.

Silence engulfing them, before a light and symbol similar to earlier shines in the air. She watches fascinated the way wind seems to swirling to make a portal.

Valentino steps forward first, following by her and lastly Kairo, each carrying her unconscious soulmates as Kairo close the portal with murmurs of something under his breath and a single wave of his hand.

They enter what looks like a living room of sorts, with the theme color of dark blue and beige, the room spacious with luxurious furnitures set in the right place.

Ara puts Raphael and Luciano on the dark blue couches with care, propping their head with small pillows. She proceeds to move Daniel onto another couch, squishing Raphael in process.

"ኗነዘጕጎሃሸክ!"

A strong force suddenly slams against her, trapping her with it like a thick rope. She yelps in shock before wiggles aggressively when she realize she was trap, trying to escape from its pained grip. As she looks down, she saw familiar hazel neon light wrapping around her, tightening with her every small movement.

"What..." She looks up at Kairo in astonishment, and couldn't help the flash of betrayal shining in her eyes.

But of course, he is another one of her soulmates.

His hazel eyes glittering with guilt, but then harden with determination as if he came to some conclusion. His eyes are fascinating, the color are light brown with speckles of green, and as he stares at her, his gaze is sharp with intelect, but nonetheless still manage to steal her breath away. His mop of dirty blond hair is framing his face perfectly, reaching the top of his ears. She didn't know from where a gust of wind came, but they bring with them a whiff of chocolate and candy, making her mouth waters with want.

The Soul Exchange this time came quick, black spots dancing from her peripheral vision until all she saw is darkness.
