《Soulmates》Chapter 12

"Let's go!"
They got out of the seats and out of the hall too. Ara strides to the front of the building quickly.
But then, something tugs her sleeve." Ara, wait! Autograph!"
She looks down to her baby brother's hopeful expression before sighs helplessly, "Yeah, let's go."
They pile out of the gathering people, and into another smaller group as another staff leads them to a door. Fans with a VVIP ticket only get the golden chance to meet with Isaac, and they are one of them.
Ara takes out her black mask from her pants front pocket as she wears it to cover her nose and mouth. With her advanced senses and naturally sensitive nose, she feels dizzy with the mixed smell of perfume and odor in the air. It is suffocating her to the point she want to vomit.
The staff leads them along the hallway, before climbing a magnificent stairs and turning to a multiple corner, and finally stops at a room with a darkwood mahogany door with exquisite complicated carving.
Ara watches the female staff pushes down the knob and leads them in.
Her heart is beating louder and harder now, the nearer she gets to this room. Maybe Alaric is right. Maybe there's someone for her out there. Someone she will meet just...
She tilts her wrist to check the time.
Five minutes left.
What do you do when you prepare to meet the one who you will live the rest of your life with?
Can she makes him or her stay?
Can she even love them?
Ara snorted to herself. Lord. What the freaking heck is she doing right now? At the rate she was going, it won't be weird anymore if she is having an existential crisis.
Huh. Why she is so nervous? For all she knows, all the anxiousness is for nothing.

You possibly don't have a soulmate, Ara. Remember that.
She laughs bitterly in her head. Now all the hope has vanished from existence when she remembers the soulmate expert said. Now she couldn't impossibly believe if someone said she has a soulmate.
Then what the point she is living in this world now when her cause of existence is gone?
.
A warning. Rio always knows when is the right time to pull her from the darkness when she is too deep in it. She doesn't know what she will do if she doesn't have Rio and Bella in her head. Yes, maybe she is crazy. A little wrong in the head. But she will exchange for nothing to be the way she is now.
A nudge to her ribs wakes her up from her trance like state. She follows Alaric into the room a little clumsily when she realised everybody else had gone into the room.
The room is like the rest of the building. Fancy. Blindingly beautiful. They screaming wealthy.
The room is the smaller version of the concert hall, with no more than one hundred lined up red seats facing a small round stage that is sparkling from being cleaned often. A tilt of head upwards, you can see a chandelier at the center of the ceiling, brighting up the whole room with golden light.
With eyes as calm as water, she takes a seat with fans here, Varo on her right, followed by Alaric. Murmurs and chatters echoed throughout the room. A particularly loud voice coming from a girl beside her.
"I'm so excited! Ahh!" she makes those weird noise, shaking her male companion's arm vigorously, "Do you know-"
"No."
The girl froze, before she resume shaking him, ignoring his bland response. "Do you know Isaac doesn't usually make a fansign event like this?! We are lucky! Ah, Isaac!", Ara can just imagine the girl's eyes turn dreamy as she spoke, "He is so handsome! And a good singer and sexy and talented and-"

"You do know that he most possibly has a soulmate, right? If not, a girlfriend?"
The girl pout, sending weak punches to his arm, "Why, why, why! Why do you have to be like that!" she whines, "Why do you have to crush my dream like that!"
The man blocks her attack with his arm, "Ah, ah, ah! I just spoke the truth!"
Ara shakes her head silently. The girl shouldn't be hoping.
"But..." the girl stops her advances, "I heard he hasn't found his soulmate yet! Along with his brothers." she then suddenly gasps and turn gossipy, "Damn! The brothers! You know what, the brothers are all so hot as fuck I want to lick-"
Ara tuned out the rest of her babbling as she heard the clicking of the shoes the staff leading them here earlier towards the stage.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please make a line and don't push each other. Remember that safety is our priority."
Seeing that they are the second people in the line after the couple, Ara stands up along with them and went up the stage with her brothers.
Not too long after excited cheering and babbling with a lot of shaking from the fangirl, it is finally their turn.
With crossed arms across her chest, Ara looks at Alaric and nudge her chin in the singer's direction, seeing her little brother's excited bouncing and nervous twiddling.
Her heart's stop beating for a second, body ready for action when Alvaro nearly tripped on his way to the table at the center of the stage.
"Careful." She scolds mockingly.
Her little brother just grins sheepishly as Alaric heaves him up to his hip. Ara stands beside him as she watches with a smirk her silly brother burrows his face in the crook of Alaric's neck in embarrassment.
A clear of throat pulls Alvaro attention to the singer. Alvaro snap his head to him with wide eyes, as if he just realised his idol's presence.
Ara watches Varo's stutters. Somehow, she couldn't stop her heart from beating.
.
Something in her entire being urges her to do something.
.
Choosing at this moment to sense a pair of eyes glued to the back of her head, Ara ran her hand through her hair uneasily.
.
Something invisible, some force nudging her to just turn her head a little. Feeling frustrated, she do just that.
As if time has slowed down for her, her pair of silver eyes meet beautiful, sad blue ones.
.
Somehow, her soul know him.
