The boys are all at Cafe SVT-13, Chan renamed the cafe a few months before. It was after cafe hours and they were hanging out together to see the results for "Defend The Ship." So far, they had gone through three ships- Junhao (830, 629), Seoksoo (859, 356), and Meanie (899, 480).

"Damn it, we lost!" Minghao exclaims. Jihoon laughs, and puts something out in from of them. An envelope. "What's that, Jihoon?" Jeonghan asks. "Something for later, I'll talk about it." He replies.

"Okay, for 3rd place is Verkwan with 913, 479 likes!" Chan announces. "EXCUSE ME, THIRD PLACE?!" Seungkwan screeches. "Oh, so it's between the populars?" asks Hansol. "Yup!" Chan answers. Seungcheol snickers, knowing who wins this.

"2nd place goes to.... the surprising couple, Soonhoon with 947, 389 likes!" says Chan. "BISH I KNEW IT!" Soonyoung yells. "I'm pretty sure we all did," Jeonghan mumbles.

"And in 1st place, JEONGCHEOL WITH 999, 925 LIKES!!" Chan exclaims.

Jihoon clears his throat and coughs. "Um, guys, I have something to tell you guys." Jihoon says quietly. At this point, the room is dead silent. Jihoon points at the envelope, quickly saying "I got something for Cafe SVT-13." Chan and Jisoo stare at him, wondering what it is. "It's a... contract. This cafe is currently small, right? I found you guys a bigger place here in Seoul, and it's connected to a book store and clothes store. A bigger franchise." He says. Chan stares at him in shock. "H-How much?" Jisoo asks. "5 million won...." Jihoon responds. "We have to repay you, Jihoon, that's too much!" exclaims Seokmin. "Don't, the least you guys could do is continue to stay together and stay as a family. This is my home, my family." Jihoon mumbles.

A sob. A very small, but noticeable sob. Everyone looks at Chan, currently sobbing, looking very overwhelmed. Jeonghan goes over to him and hugs him, saying "Chan, shh...." "B-But hyung! He's done us a big favor!" Chan sobs. Jihoon laughs, and hugs Chan. "It's the least I could do..." he says.

"Where is it?" asks Hansol. "1004 Pledis Avenue, Units 1-3. It's close to Pledis Entertainment, but nearer to the city of Seoul." Soonyoung responds. Everyone looks at him. "What? I knew about it." he responds. "Jeonghan, how much do you guys get paid at Pledis????!" Seungcheol asks. "Um.... 7 million won a month for singers....." Jeonghan shyly says.

"7 MILLION WON?! A MONTH?!" Seungcheol screams. "Wait, just singers?" Jisoo asks. "Yeah, I earn more than Jeonghan cause of producing. 9 million won, and all the songs I produce are under my name," Jihoon mutters.

"Oh right! I got about 4 million from Pledis once, cause I did the choreography for a couple of their songs," says Soonyoung. "Can I join this, please say yes," Minghao jokes. "You don't need to join rich boy, be quiet," Junhui says.

Someone clears their throat. This time, it isn't Jihoon, but Jeonghan. "I, um, have a surprise, too," he quickly states, and pushes an envelope to each person, besides Jihoon. "Huh, hyung? What's this?" asks Chan, perplexed at the suddenness. "Just open it," Jeonghan responds.

Each person, has a key, letter, and amount of won in their envelope. The same letter, different keys and won.

The letter, states:

Congrats! You have been accepted to join Pledis's future group, Seventeen. Only thirteen people were accepted. Of course, we know these thirteen are close friends, and that nearly all of them work for Cafe SVT-13. Don't worry, the cafe will still be running. We know the cafe is an important place for the thirteen of you, and we also know all thirteen of you will probably be reading this together. Here are the roles:

Choi Seungcheol-Leader, Leader of HipHop Unit

Kwon Soonyoung-Choreographer, Leader of Performance Unit

Lee Jihoon-Producer, Songwriter, Leader of Vocal Unit

Please meet as at the new Cafe SVT-13 location tomorrow, at 12 noon, sharp. We'll be waiting to discuss with you thirteen.

"Oh. My. God!!!" Seungkwan shrieks. "Wait, calm down Kwan. Who's the other two members?" Hansol questions. Jeonghan and Jihoon look at each other, before exclaiming "Us" at the same time.

"The keys mark which dorm room you guys are in. Of course, Pledis knows most of you guys are together, the youngest of us gets a room to himself. Also, Jihoon gets a room to himself and so does Soonyoung," says Jeonghan. "Your keys are color coordinated, so no one loses them. We will share one house, the top floor is HipHop and Vocal Unit's floor and the bottom is Performance Unit's floor since it's closest to the dance room. Take a look at your keys," Jihoon finishes off.

Colors:

Light Blue: Jeonghan, Seungcheol, Room 4 on top floor

Light Green: Seokmin, Jisoo, Room 3 on top floor

White: Minghao, Junhui, Room 1 on bottom floor

Black: Jihoon, Room 5 on top floor with producing room connected

Yellow: Soonyoung, Room 2 with mini dance room connected

Light Orange: Mingyu, Wonwoo, Room 2 on top floor

Light Red: Seungkwan, Hansol, Room 1 on top floor

Light Pink: Chan, Room 3 on bottom floor

"Who's in what unit?" asks Junhui. "Well, HipHop is Seungcheol, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Hansol. Vocal is Jeonghan, Jisoo, Jihoon, Seokmin, and Seungkwan. Performance would be Junhui, Soonyoung, Minghao, and Chan. Any more questions?" Jeonghan asks. "Yeah, one. How did they figure this out?" Soonyoung responds.

"Long story. We'll tell you sometime in the future, and one of you will write it word for word."
