《Unforgivable ✔️》Chapter 35

Everything started out perfectly fine. I woke up to Shayne's arm wrapped perfectly around me and my big belly. His face was buried in my neck and his light breath tickled my skin. When I tried to get up Shayne tightened his hold on me.
"Shay, let go." I whined.
"Just a little while longer." He mumbled.
"Shay, I have to pee."
I pried his arm off of me and darted for the bathroom. Being pregnant meant that I had the bladder of a kitten. I get pregnancy is supposed to be a beautiful experience, but there were some days that I just couldn't take it. I didn't know how humans could do this for nine months.
I jumped in the shower after I finished relieving my bladder. When I finished my warm shower I decided to wear a dress. The dress was long and thankfully it stretched around my belly.
When I stepped back into the room Shayne was sitting up in bed. He was on the phone and was deep in the conversation. I went to sit by him and he instinctively placed his hand on my belly.
Shayne seemed to be more excited about the baby as more time passed. It made me happy that he was this way with me now. It made me feel like maybe this whole mess with Ellie's death was something we could move past from.
At the gathering three weeks ago I was able to somewhat smooth things over with Eric. Apparently Shayne had told him about the possibility if Rider killing Ellie. Thankfully Eric was able to give me the benefit of the doubt like Shayne had.
I knew Eric still didn't have trust in me. The only thing I could do to reassure him was letting him in on my plans. I told him the information Sam had gotten from Imperial. He seemed a bit more convinced when I told him about everything. Eric was going to help me.
"Alright, my mate and I will be waiting for you." Shayne said ending his call.
"Who was that?" I asked.
"Eric. He's coming to visit."
"Why?"
"No specific reason. He wanted to visit my parents. He liked to do that often and with this whole thing happening he's been coming a lot."
"I don't blame him."
Shayne raised a brow and gave me a questioning look. I leaned in and pecked him on the lips.
"I get why he wants to be here more. This whole thing reminds him of Ellie's death. Do you know how that makes him feel? Maybe being here makes him feel close to her."
"This is why I love you." Shayne said before crashing his lips to me.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and brought him closer to me. His warm lips moved against mine softly. I broke away when I felt a small shooting pain move through me.

"Ow." I said.
"Are you okay? Did I hurt you?"
"No, I'm okay." I said. "I'm fine."
"I'm going to shower and then we'll eat."
"I'll start making something."
He kissed me one last time and headed into the bathroom. I walked out if the room and headed down to the kitchen. Eric would be here in less than two hours. Maybe I could make something for him and his pack too.
I started taking out things for me to cook. It was still early morning but Jake still came in looking more awake than ever. He looked at me and grinned.
"Now you look more like a house wife." Jake said playfully.
"Shut up. Werewolves don't get married." I said.
"Same thing." He said waving it off. "Do you need help?"
I nodded and let Jake help me with making breakfast. Within twenty minutes of cooking I started feeling tired. My back was starting to hurt more than usual. I blamed it on the baby moving around.
The pack doctor informed us that I had less than three weeks now. My due date was getting closer and closer. I felt nervous and I wasn't sure how I was going to deal with the pain of giving birth.
"I smell food." Bre said walking in the kitchen.
"Wanna help?" I asked.
"Just because you're a balloon about to pop." She joked.
I rolled my eyes but smiled. Again I felt a sharp pain. It felt like I had cramps. I usually had back pain or sometimes certain foods made me feel sick.
"Are you okay?" Bre asked.
"Yeah, just a kick." I said.
By the time everyone had walked in the room we had finished making breakfast. While eating Eric had arrived. He agreed to join us for breakfast though he seemed a bit uncomfortable.
After eating Jake and Sam were obligated to clean up. I gave the excuse that I couldn't because I was tired. They all treated me like a big baby and sometimes it got annoying. But I didn't mind being treated with care. That only meant that they cared.
"I'll go get our things and we can head to my parents house." Shayne said. "Eric, do you want to ride with us?"
"Sure thing." Eric said.
"Mind if we come along?" Sam asked.
Jake, Bre and Sam were standing together. They hardly ever left me alone and they brought it upon themselves to act like my body guards. Jake had finally accepted being part of the pack now. He didn't want to leave me now that I was going to become a mother.
"I would be surprised if you didn't." Shayne said.
I waited in the living room with Eric, his men and Sam. Everyone was quiet as we waited for everyone to join us. Sam was sitting protectively close to me.

"So, uh, how's it going?" I asked.
"Fine." Eric said.
"I'll see what's taking Shayne so long." I said.
I stood up and I felt the pain again but this time it was sharper. I stood frozen and let it pass. Sam was at my side and I gave him a reassuring smile.
"I'm okay." I said.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm-"
Another pain shot through me. I faintly heard Eric calling out for Shayne. I tried to do the breathing exercises I would see on tv. It hurt but it wasn't so bad.
I sat down on the couch and Shayne was at my side. I let out a whimper when yet another pain shot through me. I finally concluded that this wasn't normal.
"It's happening." I told Shayne.
"It's happening." He echoed.
"Ow." I said feeling a contraction. "Yup, it's happening."
"I called for the pack doctor." Shayne said. "She's on her way."
"Shayne, it hurts." I whimpered.
"I'll get you to our room." Shayne said.
Shayne scooped me up in his arms and the movement made me groan in pain. I didn't feel ready to give birth. I was literally freaking out in the inside.
"Eric, could you-"
"I'll wait and I'll send the pack doctor up when she gets here. I'll call your parents and let them know." Eric said before Shayne could get another word out.
Jake and Bre both came rushing into the living room. One look from me and Jake beamed. Bre looked excited and she hugged Jake.
"The baby is coming!" She squealed excitedly.
"Hello, woman about to pop a baby out." I said pointing to myself. "Still in pain here."
Shayne gave me a worried look and rushed me to our room. He placed me on the bed and a arranged the pillows for me to lean on. He looked really nervous and looked like he didn't have a clue in what to do.
"Does it hurt?" Shayne asked.
I was going to say no but another contraction came. I winced in pain and bit down on my lower lip. I didn't want him to see how much it actually hurt.
"Just a little." I said.
"Tell me what to do to make you feel better." Shayne said.
Shayne sat down next to me on the bed and took my hand. I smiled at him and tried not to wince as the contractions kept coming.
We waited for the pack doctor to arrive and the pain was becoming worse. Shayne kept pasting the room and it was only stressing me out more. Was this supposed to hurt this much?
"Does it hurt?" He asked for the third time.
"Of course it hurts!" I snapped at him.
"What should I do?"
"Stop asking stupid questions."
The pack doctor bursted through the room and Shayne growled at her. He wasn't happy that she had taken a long time to get here. Immediately she checked to see how far along I was.
Apparently I was too far for her to give me anything that would numb the pain away. I wouldn't have wanted it either way. This giving birth thing was no walk in the park.
"We're going to start now." Lisa said.
"I don't care just move it along already." I said crying.
The contractions and pains were increasing. Shayne looked nervous and I noticed his eyes had turned dark. I had tears rolling down my eyes now.
"Alright, your fully dilated so we're going to start pushing. When you feel the next contraction take a deep breath and push until I count to ten. After I reach ten take another quick breath and I'll count off again. Can you do that?"
"Yes! Just get on with it." I cried.
"Shayne, you can go next to her and hold her hand." Lisa said.
I had both of my legs bent and they were spread open. I felt a bit uncomfortable by this position but at this point I didn't care. All I cared was popping my baby out and stopping this horrible pain.
"Ready?" Lisa said.
I took a hold of Shayne's hand and held on to it tightly. I nodded and closed eyes. When I felt my next contraction I took a deep breath and started pushing as Lisa counted off.
"Eight...Nine.....Ten." Lisa said.
I took another deep breath and pushed again. The whole time I was squeezing Shayne's hand. I felt him place kisses all over my face every time I cried out in pain.
"Okay, this is it." Lisa said. "One more time."
"Okay, I can do this." I said to myself. "I can do this."
"Ready?" She asked.
I nodded and took another deep breath. I gritted my teeth as I pushed. Lisa continued to count down and then I I felt it before I heard the cry.
I was trying to catch my breath and I pushed my damp hair out if my face. I was still holding on tightly to Shayne's hand. I looked up at him and his eyes bore into mine.
"You did it." He said smiling.
"I did it." I agreed, smiling back at him.
"Alpha, would you like to cut the umbilical cord?"
Shayne moved away from my side and busied himself with Lisa. It was a while before she moved on to cleaning up the baby and making sure it was healthy.
After everything was cleaned up and taken care of she brought my baby to me. The look on Shayne's face when he looked at our baby made my heart squeeze. He had a look of adoration and he was looking at my baby with so much love.
"boy or girl?" Shayne asked Lisa.
"It's a...."
