CHPATER 11 ((teaser chapter))

((Le flashback))

"You are a mutt! A flithy mutt! You killed everyone I loved!"

"No Peeta! It's not like that! I'm Katniss! The capitol messed with your brain to make me look like the bad side! You loved me! You HAVE to believe me! Please!"

"Why should I believe a mutt?!"

I cried and ran away.

((Next couple of weeks))

"Peeta?"

"Katniss?"

"I think I can help you regain our memory."

"How? I'll try anything."

I pop the tapes into the television at his house. The Hunger Games play. I covered my face with a pillow so i won't see. The pillow gets tugged off of me and something crashes into my face. Peeta's lips. He remembers a bit! He remembers! He pulls away and his eyes look lost, but I ignore it.

"Peeta, do you remember?!"

"I-I just did but then .... but then ..."

"But then what?!"

"YOU MUTT! YOU IDIOT. I HATE YOU! ALL MY LOVED ONES ARE GONE BECAUSE OF YOU!!!!"

I get up and run te other way towards his bedroom. I am crying. I thought he was finally back! Finally! But my fairytale didn't last nearly as long as I had wished.

"Katniss! Katniss! Why are you crying?! What happened? What's wrong?!"

I don't answer and I lay down on his bed to cry myself to sleep.
