《The Luna's Awakening》Chapter 31

I was surrounded by light, everywhere I look was an abyss of whiteness. I looked at my hands and then my body to examine my state. I was wearing a white dress and I seemed to be standing in a bright white room but I don't remember getting here.
Where am I?
I turned around, startled by the female voice.
There, 5 metres in front of me stood my wolf form. She was large, as large as a bear and her golden-orange fur seem to shimmer in the light. It felt strange seeing my wolf stand before me. I was confused. Where was I? Why was my wolf standing in front of me? Whose voice was that?
I looked around to see who the voice belonged to but no one was in sight, only my wolf.
"Did you just speak?" I asked confused, not really sure if I was expecting an answer.
"So this is a dream?" I said tilting my head slightly, confused.
"Yes." I nodded in understanding
"But what happens if I fail to stop him?"
Suddenly my surroundings darkened, I was no longer surrounded by whiteness. All I saw was a dark vision of the possible future. A future where vampires ruled and were the superior race.
A gust of wind blew strand of my hair around my face. I found self standing in the middle of a street which use to once be a part of a busy city. But now all I saw was an apocalyptic world. The sky was red and cloudy. Ashes seems to float around the air as the wind blew. The air was thick.
My attention was caught by a crowd of at least 200 humans chained by the wrist and ankles with heavy shackles, walking along the middle of the quiet street. They were being led by a group of blood, thirsty vampires which seemed to be leading them somewhere. The humans were in a dirty, weak state and were wearing barely any clothes to keep them warm.

My wolf- or should I say the True Luna spirit came up and stood beside me as we watched the horrific sight in front of us. We seemed to be invisible to them because they didn't notice our presence. I tried to moved to help the humans but my feet were glued to the ground. I couldn't move them.
I couldn't save them
She spoke sadly.
I watch as one of the human's tripped over her feet and fell on the ground, tripping up the people around her and catching the attention of one of the nearby vampires.
"Get up you idiot!" Shouted the vampire irritated and frustrated as he walked up to her. He seemed to be holding a long black whip. The poor girl let out a small frightened whimper as she tried to get up but kept stumbling in her weak state.
The vampire flicked his whip back and forth threateningly.
"You're holding everyone up! I said GET UP!" , but the girl couldn't seem to get up quick enough and now she started crying out of fear.
I tried to thrash my body to get it to move to try and save the humans but every attempt failed as by body stood motionlessly.
'This isn't real. This isn't real'
I repeated in my head to myself.
Frustrated and angry at the girl's actions, I watched as the vampire lifted his right arm, holding the whip, up as he went to strike the girl.
Not able to look at what was going to happen next, I shut my eyes and turned my head to the side.
I waited for her scream to follow but there was only silence.
After what seemed like an eternity but was probably two seconds, confused, I opened my eyes again and was surprised to be standing once again in the white abyss with my wolf in front of me. The vision was gone.

I swallowed a hard lump in my throat and nodded.
I looked down at my feet and hands. "I don't know if I can do this. Not long ago I was just a normal girl with a normal life. Now I am a True Luna with the world's future on my shoulders. How am I suppose to kill the all mighty vampire king?"
Suddenly the True Luna spirit started fading away. It felt like my body was being pulled away into the darkness by an invisible force.
"What's happening?" I said looking around frantically.
"Will I be able to speak to you again?" I called out no longer able to see my wolf. But her voice echoed around me, ricocheting from the walls of my mind.
And with that I was once again surrounded by darkness.
However the True Luna spirit was right, the answers came to me. I don't know how I knew but somehow deep down a part of me I guess already knew.
I knew what I needed to do in order to defeat Eric Northman, the Vampire King and it wasn't going to be easy.
