Those eyes.

No it couldn't be.

The large, black figure growled as it emerged from within the darkness of the shadows.

"It's another wolf!" Hissed one of the vampires.

Kian?

The jet black wolf stalked towards me but kept his eyes trained on the surrounding vampires, ready for any sudden attack.

I was starting to feel confused and a bit nervous as he got closer to me but I was surprised when he stood in front of me in a protective stance.

He was trying to protect me.

He probably thinks I'm weak

My conscious remarked.

I could of easily taken down these vampire with my abilities.

But now that he was here I wasn't able to use my powers because then he would find out what I was and if he did I would be in serious danger. I had to be careful. Damn it

I would just have to stick to fighting in my human form because my wolf form would also give away my identity.

There where at least 15 blood thirsty vampires staring at Kian and I, hissing as they glared their fangs at us. I watched as some of their eyes changed crimson red, hungry for blood.

My eyes were glowing, body tingling and heart pumping from the adrenaline flowing through my veins, waiting for someone to make the first move.

"Get him!!" Yelled Tina as a couple of them lunged at Kian.

He snarled as he grabbed a vampire by the neck and shook him like a rag doll causing his neck to rip off and disintegrate to dust. There where at least six vampire on him and but he was doing a good job of protecting himself. I was impressed.

He is the soon to be Alpha of one of the most dangerous packs in the country, of course he is an amazing fighter.

The air was filled with ashes as the smell of burned wood and death filled my nostrils making me to scrunch my face slightly at the foul smell.

I turned around just as a vampire charged towards me from my right side trying to catch me off guard.

I easily dodged his attack and grabbed his neck letting my wolf claws dig into the skin and smashed him to the ground. He landed with a loud thump as he let out a painful groan.

I felt an arm wrap around my neck from behind in an attempt to choke me.

"Your lucky I won't kill you since I need you alive." hissed the vampire in my ear.

He sucked in a deep, slow breath as he inhaled, "Your blood smells so deliciously sweet. I'm sure the King won't notice if I take just one bite."

I snarled in response, I'm not gonna let anyone sink their teeth into me!

I quickly used my super strength to lean forward causing the vampire to flip over my body, kicking the other vampire who was laying on the floor in the head hard with his foot. I then grabbed his head and held his body down with my foot as I ripped his head clean off. Doing the same with the other one, both vampires laid in a heap on the ground, slowly disintegrating.

I couldn't let a single one escape, because they would no doubt tell the King and he would stop at nothing to find me.

I turned around to see Kian flinging a vampire against the cement wall effortlessly as another jumped on his back but he quickly ripped him off and tore him to pieces savagely, like a wild animal.

I was about to jump to his side and help him when someone block my path.

Tina

"Well well well. You think just because he shows up to save you, your safe? Well your wrong bitch. You might be the True Luna but I will be the one to take you to the King to receive my reward." She hissed as we circled each other, her red eyes watching my every move.

I had never seen the vampire King before, I had only learnt about him in a werewolf class. They told us that he normally stayed hidden in his huge mansion, that was more like a castle. Occasionally he was spotted in one of the popular night clubs that his third in command owned. We were told that he is a very dangerous sick man, who only wanted power.

I figured that my blood for the vampires was like gold and if the king found out he would with no doubt come looking for me.

I couldn't let him find out!

"I will never let you or anyone else use my blood!" I spat.

We were watching each other to see who would make the first move like two predators getting ready for a fight.

Tina let out a battle cry as she ran forwards at me. I used my elbow to ram into her and then I swung my leg under hers, kicking the back of her leg, causing her to fall on one knee but she used her claws to try and grab my arm to dig her nails into them. I used all the force I could get to swing my body around as I used my leg to kick her head. She flew back hitting the cement wall with a grunt.

I slowly walked towards her, "Had enough now?" I smirked down at her as she looked up at me in rage, her eyes glowing crimson red.

"I'm not one to give up on a fight until I win." She spat.

"Well I guess we both have that in common." I said evilly smirking. I ran at her and made a grab for her neck but she did a forwards summer sault and got back up. In a quick second I felt a sharp stinging on my arm and when I looked down I saw I had a large, deep scratch in my fore arm but it was quickly starting to heal.

I looked up at her and growled, annoyed at her satisfied smirk.

my True Luna conscience spoke.

I ran up towards her this time full speed and when I was a few feet away I leaped up and off the side of the wall and used my full weight to come crashing down on her, smashing my foot into her face. Her head hit the floor with a hard crack. Within seconds her body turned to ash.

I covered my nose and mouth with my arm as the gust blew her ashes around.

To my left I saw Kian's wolf form as he ripped the last vampire's arm off. The vampire let out a painful cry, only to be silenced as the wolf chomped down on his head, ripping it off savagely as he looked into my eyes.

As I watched him, I didn't know what to do.

What do I say?

Will he find out about me?

My wolf was stirring around inside feeling unsettled.

I tried to keep my face expression blank, I didn't want him to read my emotions.

Kian's large black wolf stalked towards me with his head low and attentive to my every move, as if I was his next pray.

I held my chin high, showing him I was not afraid.

Never show weakness.

We both stood there in silence staring at each other.

I could feel the heaviness and pressure of his dominant wolf's hard stare. He was testing my dominance. I didn't look away as I matched his cold stare with mine.

When he was in front of me, his wolf stood tall looking down at me, tail high in alert and he felt suddenly so close. I fought the strange sudden urge to extend my hand and run it over his jet black fur.

I saw his eyes flicker down to the scratch Tina had given me earlier which was still healing and saw mix emotions. Anger? Worry?

I was confused.

"It's just a scratch" I said a little harsher than I intended.

He growled lightly, his wolf obviously annoyed at my tone.

"Look, thanks for coming to help me but you didn't have to I had it under control."

He made a sound that sounded like a scoff as if saying yeah right.

That only seemed to make me feel annoyed.

I was about to respond when his ears started twitching as he turned to look at the exit of the dead end alley way distracted by something. His wolf suddenly dashed out into the street, disappearing into the dark night.

That was weird.

I growled in annoyance I can't believe he scoffed at me! What a douche bag. He thinks I'm a little weakling, well if only he knew. I said ranting off to my self.

Would he realise it was me who Eleanor was so furiously searching for?

Oh man Colleen's gonna be so mad if she finds out.

I heard groaning from the end of the alley way which came from the woman who Theo and Marcus where drinking from. A feeling of relief passed through me knowing that she was still alive.

I turned to walk towards her when the sound of someone slowly clapping filled the air. Loud and clear.

I felt a shiver crawl up my spine.

"Well done, I have to say I was very impressed by your little show. Very exciting. It sure made my night very....interesting."

I scanned the dark alley for the sound of the voice but I couldn't see where it was coming from.

It sounded like it was up from the top of the side buildings.

"Who's there?" I said making sure my voice didn't show fear.

The voice let out a deep low laugh, I'm guessing amused at my confusion.

"Its been a while since I've seen a wolf of your kind. A wolf like you. I have to say I was not expecting you to have a knight in shining armour come to your rescue. I was quite surprised, but also disappointed."

Just as my eyes adjusted to the darkness from high above, I saw a tall dark figure walking along the edge of the top of the building towards me as he looked in my direction.

"I was disappointed because I wanted to see you fight. I wanted to see you use your powers and see what you are capable off. But it's strange, you didn't use them to fight. Why is that? Tell me, I'm curious."

The dark figure stopped as he sat down on the edge of the wall, feet dangling carelessly like a child. He seemed strangely calm which made me wary. My wolf was burning up from within and I didn't know why.

"Who are you?" I shouted.

"Oh my. I'm sorry for not introducing myself."He said amused.

The dark figure leaped up off the side of the wall, which was at least 4 meters heigh, landing perfect and effortlessly on his two feet like a cat, three meters in front of me.

Vampire

His face was lit up by the dim street light near by. He looked vaguely familiar. He had a clean shaven face, pale skin, blond hair, almost white with dark roots, his hair was straight with the front fallen a bit to the side and a strong defined jaw line. He must have been in his early 20s. It seemed strange that he didn't have crimson red eyes like other vampires

but instead light crystal blue.

His calmness made my wolf and I feel uneasy. He also knew what I was which wasn't good.

My instinct was screaming .

The tall stranger slowly walked closer towards me and then bowed mockingly.

"My name is Dorian Northman. It's a pleasure to meet you, my True Luna." He chuckled evily as he peered up at me.

My stomach dropped.

Northman

"Northman? As in the Vampire prince?"

I said but it came out more as a shocked whisper.

Eric Northman the Vampire King had a son but not many people had seen him before.

He smirked down at me, a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"Oh so you do know of me, I'm flattered."

If he was here it's because he most likely wanted something.

"What do you want?" I said this time in a more brave tone but I knew what he wanted, I just wanted him to say it.

"Isn't it obvious, your blood. Your blood is the most powerful substance anyone could get a hold of. Do you know how many people would kill for it? Do you know what they would do for it? I know your kind better than you think. I know how your power works. Most of all, I know why you are here, why the spirits gave you life." he said in almost a whispering tone.

He stayed a few meters away, pacing side to side as he spoke.

My Luna was burning as she screamed but I didn't know what he was capable of doing and he wasn't close enough in order for me to catch him off guard. So I had to wait for him to get closer.

"The last True Luna was here because too many Witches were using black magic and it was affecting the balance of the supernatural world, hence the Dark War. But now it's Vampires isn't it, or more specifically my Father."

He stopped pacing and started taking slow steps towards me. That's it, keep walking.

"Let me tell you one thing, he is going to make it hell for you once he knows about your existence."

Nearly there just a few more steps.

I made sure my face didn't give away my thoughts.

"Which is why I'm willing to make you an offer."

He stopped walking and looked me in the eye.

Only 2 more steps

Confused by his sudden statement I said

"And what's that?"

"A life. Be mine and I will make sure no one ever hurts you. I will take care of you and give you what you want. But in return you will belong to me and only me."

I was surprised. He wants me to belong to him? He calls that a life? He only wants my blood.

"You call that a life? You only want me to be your blood bag!" I growled. I used the opportunity to take a step closer.

"It's a better life then you will have. Think about it! People around you will die because of you, especially the people you love. My father will stop at nothing to have you as his blood bag and trust me he will not treat you so kindly. You don't want to know how he already treats his human blood bags. If you come with me I will promise to leave your pack alone and I will treat you much better than he will. With your blood I can kill my father and become the Vampire King. That way he won't hurt you. Isn't that what you want." he said persuasively, but his eyes told me that that was not all, there was a twist to this.

"No. You just want power like your father and you will become exactly like him."

I said as I looked at him dead in the eye, no fear.

Just as I was about to take a step closer and shift, Dorian looked down at my feet and seemed to noticed my next action.

Suddenly in the blink of an eye he had the woman from earlier in his grasps, her neck exposed and his mouth inches away. She was unconscious but her head was bleeding.

The area around his eyes suddenly started to darken drastically, visible veins appeared and his eyes turned crimson red as his fangs grew.

"Wrong move princess."

"NO!!" I screamed just as the sound of bones cracking and the smell of fresh blood filled the air. I was about to shift and charged at him when the sound of someone screaming my name caught me off guard.

"Lara!!" It was Jade just as she turned the corner with a large wolf beside her. For some reason I immediately I thought it might have been Kian but the wolf was dark silver and white with green eyes. Nick.

Nick raced in front of me hackles raised, ears back, snarling and growling at Dorian. As Nick sprinted at him, Dorian leaped of the ground and onto the top of the building beside us, smirking evilly as blood stained his mouth.

"You made the wrong choice turning down my offer. You'll see now, you'll regret it. She's just an example of how everyone around you will die." He said nodding at the woman laying with her neck snapped on the floor dead.

"Until we meet again, Lara." With that he disappeared into the dark night and only the faint echo of his chuckle could be heard.
