《Philocaly | DNF》17 - he and you

"It's kinda hard to believe," George muttered to break the silence. The three were sitting in Dreams car, an hour out to their destination. The beach house, which they'd be staying for a week or two.
"That were meeting Bad and Karl. I didn't start thinking about it until we actually got out the front door."
Sapnap scoffed at him. "You guys get nervous about everything. Think good thoughts guys, this is going to be really fun."
Dream nodded, his eyes facing the road in front of him.
"Plus, Bad and Karl are some of the chillest people you could meet. It won't be any difference in real life."
"Exactly," Sapnap replied, resting his head in his hand, his posture slouched. "But we can't cuss."
George burst out laughing, covering his mouth.
Dream glanced at him and chuckled to himself, Sapnap watching carefully.
Sapnap had been on Dreams ass since he had confessed, constantly teasing him more than usual.
Dream was praying Sapnap wouldn't do something to embarrass the hell out of him on this trip.
The rest of the drive was peaceful, minus Sapnap eating gummy worms loudly in the back with his headphones in.
The whole drive George was reading.
And Dream was driving, of course, with control of the radio music.
Three whole hours later, Dream was driving them along the beach side on the wooden pathway.
It was quite crowded, multiple shops that surrounded them, all lined up beside each other. The sun was glaring against the glass, George holding a hand over his eyes to block it out.
"You should have worn shorts on the way, Georgie." Dream implied, with a short smile.
George glanced to the backseat where Sapnap was snoring.
"You could've told me that before I decided on these bulky ass jeans."
Dream started laughing, eyeing a few people that passed by his car.
"You have no common sense."
"Yet you still let me sleep in your be-"
Dreams right hand shot up from the steering wheel and over George's mouth.

"Are you always gonna use that as an excuse, Georgie? Shut up about it already."
He uncovered his hands as a wave of red flush surrounded George's cheeks.
"Well I use it every time because that's what seems to trigger you, Dream."
"Hey. What did I say?"
George glared. "Right, right. Use your real name."
"Yeah," he replied nodding. "Say it."
"Clay."
"Say it again."
"Clay..?"
"Say it one more time."
"No. And focus on the road."
Dream scoffed. "Fine."
Silence filled the car as Sapnap slowly woke up.
He looked confused for a second, then squinted his eyes, then rubbed them, then placed a hand on Dreams seat from the back.
"Where are we, Clay?"
"At the beach side, idiot. I'm pulling up to the place we're staying in a minute."
"Did you tell George yet?" Sapnap muttered, clearly too tired to be thinking about his words.
Dream could feel his heart pound out of his chest as George's face lit up with confusion.
"Tell me what?"
"I- uh.. sorry. Just a dream." Sapnap replied, rubbing his eyes and staring at Dream to make sure he want mad as hell.
Dream could feel a sense of relief as George relaxed himself, thankfully not suspicious.
"Anyways.. we're here, Sappy."
At the same moment Dream spoke, he pulled up to the place. George hurried out of the car and stood before the house.
A flat roof, white walls, a nice deck, flowers and palm trees everywhere, scattered huge window. Clearly the house was huge, but one story. There would be plenty enough room.
After him, Dream and Sapnap stepped out, slamming their car doors shut and standing beside George to scan over the house.
"This is actually amazing," George muttered.
Dream glanced at George, the soft breeze crashing against his pink cheek.
Dream couldn't decide which view was better.
The beach, or George.
Definitely George.
Dream caught himself staring, quickly looking away as Sapnap approached the steps. He quickly jingled the keys into the knob, glancing at George and Dream from behind him.

As he stepped in, Dream could see the "oh my god" that formed on his lips.
He followed behind with George, walking mid way in before looking around.
The kitchen was huge, champagne and whiskey already stacked onto the corner.
There wasn't too much wall, the living room and the kitchen being open, along with the small grey sofa that sat at the end of the hallway beside a coffee table and a lamp.
"Holy shit," Dream said, scratching his chin. "This place is nice as hell."
"Perfect view too!" Sapnap called, flushing open the large curtains that lied against the two front windows.
He leaned up against the windowsill sighing.
"There are three rooms," George announced. "Two beds in each room."
Dream watched as he walked out from the corner of the hallway, smiling.
"That's perfect." Sapnap replied, walking over to Dream and leaning his elbow on his shoulder.
"You guys can share a room, I can share a room with Karl and Darryl can have a room to himself. Sound good?" He then swung his elbow back down to his side, patting Dreams shoulder as he approached the kitchen.
"I'm okay with that," George replied to Sapnap, but staring at Dream as he scratched the back of his neck.
"Are you.. okay with that, Clay?"
Dreams eyes shot up to connect with George's, locking eye contact.
He quickly nodded, swallowing a lump in his throat.
"You guys can't stay away from each other, I'm just doing you a favor!" Sapnap called.
"Nick," Dream scolded firmly. "Stop."
Awkwardly, George coughed and broke eye contact with Dream.
He trudged outside, closing the door behind him, probably to grab more luggage.
"Nick," Dream scolded again.
"What?"
"You're making him uncomfortable."
"My bad. But I'm not a liar, Dream. You're dense."
"Even if George somehow felt anything for me, it wouldn't happen. We wouldn't happen."
"How are you so sure, Clay?"
Sapnaps arms were now crossed.
"I don't know, but I trusted you with telling you this. I could care less about teasing but if George is uncomfortable, you need to stop."
"He's not uncomfortable, stupid. He's in denial, just like you were. He and you share the same thoughts."
Dream shook his head, collapsing on the long sofa.
"You said you're not a liar."
Sapnap bit his lip, collapsing beside Dream, as Dream rubbed his face.
"I'm in deep shit, Sapnap. I hate feeling like this. It sucks feeling like this, knowing that if he ever found out, our friendship would be over."
Before he could continue, Sapnap pulled him in for a long steady hug.
"Hey, man. It's okay. This vacation is gonna be really fun. Don't think like this. Also, if you really don't want to, you don't have to share a room with George."
He pulled from the hug and smiled once more at Dream.
"No, I can. It's just up to him."
At the same moment, George walked back into the house with his suitcase in hand.
"Hey, we should unpack before the other boys get here," he suggested.
Sapnap stood up after Dream, both of them grabbing their bags from the car.
Dream made his way to the end of the hall, slowly cracking open the fully white door.
It was a rather large room, both beds a good four feet away from each other. Next to each bed held a night table, an outlet in the middle and a closet on the furthest left side. The other bed was nearest to the biggest window.
Dream settled his stuff onto the bed by the closet, George soon entering the room and setting his bags onto the bed on the right.
"You're.. okay with this?" Dream quietly asked, his voice steady.
George stopped unzipping his suitcase, spinning around to face Dream.
"Of course, idiot. Sleeping in the same room as anyone else wouldn't be much different." George then flashed him a quick warm smile, turning back to his suitcase.
Sharing the same room as George for two whole weeks.
Oh god.
