《Philocaly | DNF》15 - flustered

"No one cares!" George screamed at Sapnap from the top of the stairs, followed by a loud wheeze coming from Dreams room.
"Why not?!" Sapnap screamed back, "there are gonna be so many swimsuit ladies attracted to me at that beach, they're gonna care about which swim trunks I decide on!"
"Do the piss colored ones." George shouted, with a glare.
"These are green you colorblind idiot!"
With that, Dream was about to fall off of his bed laughing so hard.
Angrily, George marched in Dreams room and slapped his arm. "C'mon, Dream. That was not funny."
Dream then stood up, towering over George beside his bed.
"It was, George. You just have a dry sense of humor and take thing seriously too often," he explained, patting his shoulder.
"Mhm. You love me."
"What convinced you that was the case?"
"You let me stay in here," George replied, all of a sudden feeling the urge to tease Dream.
Dreams head spun around, his eyebrows raised as his hand connected with the doorknob.
"You let me stay in here all night. You held me when I asked you to. Fucking simp."
Flustered, Dream scratched the back of his neck forcing a chuckle.
"I care about my friends, George."
A sudden silence came over the two as their eyes locked.
Dream had that same feeling from before.
His heart felt like it was burning in his chest, he nearly grunted.
He didn't like it when George stared at him so intensely.
He realized they had been stuck in silence too long, so he sighed and shoved his hands into his pockets.
"George I.. if you.. ever need to sleep in here again to feel any sort of comfort.. you're welcome. My door is always cracked for you."

"I'm pretty sure you keep your door cracked for patches. Although she doesn't sleep with you anyways."
This made Dream genuinely smile, ruffling his own hair.
"She might not, but you sure have a pleasure with sleeping in here. Right next to me."
George shot him a glare. "You're an idiot. Maybe I will just stay in my own room."
"Hey."
George felt his gaze settle on Dreams eyes. "You like my presence?"
Guiltily, Dream nodded.
"I really do. This may seem way different than being on stream in front of thousands of people, and I may be acting oddly nervous around you but seriously. I enjoy being around you. You're my best friend, George. I could say the same for Nick."
George couldn't help but smile. "I'm glad we're on the same track, Clay."
"You should say that more often."
"Say what?"
"My real name. I want you to only say my real name. I want you to really know who I am away from the cameras. I don't want to be nervous I'll mess something up around you. We have known each other for so long, yet sometimes I treat you as a stranger."
Deep down, Dream knew that trying to get comfortable around each other wouldn't affect his nervousness around George for the better.
Dream likes George in a different way.
"That sounds like a great plan, Clay. Thank you."
