《The Victims⦻》29. Tulpa or something else entirely?

I've always had a sensitivity to paranormal things. For most of my childhood I lived in a house with a high paranormal activity, so high that it wasn't just me and my family who saw or experienced things in the house but people who had previously lived there and people who would come visit. There are a number of stories I could tell just from living in the 'Bonnie House' but they're irrelevant largely to what I want to detail here.
Me and my Wife have been together for about 10 years, common law for about 4 I'd say give or take. These happened when we were going out and both in Senior Secondary School. We had gotten deep into reading and watching Paranormal things on YouTube because I've always had an interest in it and she (Let's call her Birdie) had never really had any paranormal experiences before and was highly interested in the concept! We found 'Slenderman' stuff on YT and devoured it (Marble Hornets had only Just started around this time so we were following the Live Updates of the episodes right around the start where the 'main character' encountered the Tower). I poured in hours and hours of research into the Slenderman story, found some other YouTubers who were making their own Slenderman stories, and eventually found out about Slenderman's inception on Something Awful so it kind of ruined some of the magic for me as I'd really wanted to believe in Marble Hornets and EverymanHYBRID but I wasn't about to buy into something that had a traceable origin in a forum somewhere.
Several months after starting to watch these things, I had my first Experience in a series of about 4 separate instances. My Dad and I were driving into the next city over just after the sun went down to go out to dinner so the road was dark. It was a road we've travelled hundreds of times, I know every curve like the back of my hand and it's a main Highway so there are always a number of cars around and its well maintained. We were taking one of the tighter curves of this road that has a cement barricade straight ahead of the road so that nobody can accidentally drive straight off the curve and off the about 15-foot drop of the embankment behind it. As we were driving up, the headlights caught something that I thought was maybe a plastic bag or something while we were further up, but as we got closer I saw was the smooth, featureless head of an impossibly tall man-like figure standing there, flailing the bulb of its head back and forth rapidly. I stared in horror and was like mesmerized into staring as we took the curve. The figure was tall enough that it was a head and shoulders over the embankment, was far wider than a normal 'person', and its clothes were an absolute void of black. It didn't look like fabric, it looked like something that was cut out of reality, absolutely no light bounced off of the black of this thing's clothes (or body?). It looked like 'Black 2.0' paint in that it looked flat and impossibly black. I watched it as we made the curve and continued to drive. I asked my dad if he'd seen anything and he said he was too busy watching traffic.

Second sighting of this thing happened not too long after, maybe two weeks or so, and wasn't by me. Birdie was coming home from school on the bus, which took a lot of back roads due to the windy nature of the rural area we lived in. The bus was going over a set of railroad tracks and Birdie happened to look up them, mostly out of habit of checking if there was a train coming, and she saw a tall, lanky figure in the Absolute Void Black clothes and the white featureless head. She said that it looked totally out of place in broad daylight, that she could see the length of his featureless hands and the curve of his head but none of the details on his clothes. When she looked at him, he started rattling his head around until he was out of her sight. She was so shaken up by him that she moved seats to directly behind the bus driver and didn't look outside the bus again until she got home and she could rush to her house. I hadn't told Birdie about my experience up until she called me to tell me about hers because I thought I might've imagined it or I might've just seen something explainable and my mind had warped it because of my current interests in the Slenderman things. We were both terrified.
Third sighting happened about 8-9 months, almost a year, after Birdie's sighting of Slenderman. I was in my house and in my bathroom, which looks back over the backyard of my property. At the head of the yard is a tangle of Nut Trees, Cherry Trees, and blackberry bushes that looks like a tiny slice out of a forest. I was looking out at that and watching the birds, also midday, and got a feeling of dread as I was looking out. I started to notice some dark twisting shapes in the trees and I followed them down towards a single bulbous head rattling away on a figure that was almost as tall as the tallest nut tree which is easily twice the height of my little farm house. I immediately recoiled from the window, scrambled downstairs to find my camera, and rushed out the back door of my house to try and catch a picture of this thing but by the time I got outside it was gone. None of the dark twists of its 'limbs' were present in the treeline anymore either. After this time, I went inside and went to go talk to my Mom who is also very into paranormal things (having had her fair share of previous experiences as well, even before the 'Bonnie House'). She told me about the concept of 'Tulpa' as beings or energies that take forms and come into existence based around belief of a mass number of people. She told me that it was possible that so many people were afraid of The Slenderman that SOMETHING took its shape to step into this world. While I thought that sounded kind of far fetched, I didn't have any other explanation so I just kind of let it drop.

It was another year or so before we had our Fourth encounter with whatever the hell 'looked' like Slenderman. This one is very foggy to me, I don't remember a number of the details and I'll update this if Birdie has any details on it as well. Birdie and I were driving out to go to likely 7-Eleven or McDonalds in the next town over late evening. As we were driving, we saw the creature standing in someone's yard near their house but we drove past too quickly for either of us to get a picture or get a good look at it. We just both instantly recognized the impossible blackness of its body and the sickeningly pale wasp-nest shaped dome of its featureless head.
It's been years now since we've seen this thing again, but I still have waking sleep-paralysis nightmares where this Tulpa Slenderman is looming either over our bed or is otherwise in the house somewhere when I turn a corner, jammed up against the ceiling because he's too tall to be inside.
TLDR; I don't believe in Slenderman but me and my Wife have seen him a few separate times when we were younger and I don't have any other explanation for what we've seen. He doesn't look just like a person in a Suit, he's disproportionate and his 'suit' is a void of black that looks like a shape cut out of the universe. We have seen him both with and without the red streak down his front that is supposed to be his 'tie'. Wtf have we been seeing??
