《Hollywood Politics {BoyxBoy}》Chapter 1 - The Secrets We Keep

The first thing I noticed when I woke up was the bright sunlight streaming into my face. It felt like the sun had decided to shoot a fireball at me for shits and gigs. I mentally cursed the sun, and my window shade for not doing the job which I specifically bought it to do. I opened my eyes slowly, quickly surveying the room around me. I had expected to see my bedroom, but I was startled to see the obvious elements of a hotel room surrounding me. The bedroom was large and from this angle I could see half of the room, the white and gold fixtures and furniture drawing my attention.
The memory of going to a hotel late last night slowly came back to me and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. To stop my poor self from overheating I rolled over and jumped when I hit something. I laughed when I realised that, no, it was not some creeper in my bed, but just Max, my boyfriend.
I leant up on my arm and surveyed the man next to me, my hungry eyes roaming his body. The thick white blanket was covering him from the waist down, his tanned chest on full show, I assumed that his shirt, along with mine were somewhere in the room, thrown in haste sometime last night. One arm was by his side, the other, the one closest to me, was under his head, cradling his dark shaggy hair. He looked so much younger than his twenty-three years like this. I leant over and placed a small kiss by his mouth and reached over him to look at my phone.
It was only seven in the morning, and I instantly forgave that evil sun for waking me up so early. I usually never got to spend the morning with Max, he usually had to leave way before I did, and since we couldn't exactly leave together anyways, he would always let me sleep.
I figured that I would allow him the same courtesy and let him sleep for a few more minutes, he would have to leave soon anyway. I rolled back to my side of the king bed, stretching my legs out. I noticed a flat screen television in the corner of the room and searched around for the remote.
I finally found it and I turned on the television, rushing to turn the volume down before it could wake up Max. I cringed when I saw what was on, the show was a daily news program, which I usually enjoyed watching, but the dark handsome man who was talking was introducing the next segment, one that I did not enjoy watching.
'And next, we will be talking to Karly Grayson, our celebrity news correspondent and local celebrity news writer for the popular magazine, Hollywood Celebrities'

I groaned and muted the television.
Karly Grayson.
The woman was a nightmare, just short of twenty five, she had been constantly harassing me for over a year, always wanting the next story, willing to do anything to advance in her field. A few months ago she scored a spot on this news program, and since then she has been pestering me even more, something I hadn't even known to be possible.
That evil woman was a snake, a snake I wanted to run over with my car, then back over a couple of times. You know, just to make sure that she was really dead.
I paused my thoughts of a murderous rampage when the screen changed to the woman, her short brown hair perfectly straightened and her big blue eyes highlighted by a small amount of eyeliner. Her pink lips started talking and so I turned up the volume slightly.
'Ryan Connors and Claudia Grey are still the hottest couple of the year, the celebrity couple were spotted last night at the premiere for Claudia's new movie, 'Sex and Love'.'
A picture appeared next to the woman. Two people were featured in the photo, standing on red carpet and their backs to a large promotional shot which featured the title 'Sex and Love'. The woman was Claudia Grey, her bleached blonde hair and tanned skin being emphasised by the dark, long dress she wore, a large strip cut up to her thigh. Her heels were black and tall, making her almost as tall as the man standing next to her. The man's short light brown hair seemed almost blonde in the lights of the cameras and his pale skin seemed less white and more tanned under those same lights. The man was wearing a dark suit and I recognised the suit jacket as the one hanging over the chair in the corner of the room I was in. I didn't like that jacket, it was too tight, but my stylist insisted that I looked mature and sexy, so I went with it.
I looked happy in the photo, a smile being sent to the woman who hung off my arm as she waved to the cameras. We looked like a classic Hollywood couple, so in love, the perfect couple, but looking over to the naked man next to me I couldn't help the laugh that left my mouth.
Oh, the irony.
Claudia was a good person, but I didn't have any feelings for her which went beyond friendship.
'The celebrity couple celebrated their one year university just last week, Ryan giving his girlfriend a one-of-a-kind diamond necklace. You can tell that Ryan Connors has defiantly been getting more popular, what with the money that item must have cost the famous singer'
A photo of Claudia wearing a silver necklace featuring a large diamond pendant was shown and I smirked at that. Claudia had picked out that necklace herself and even paid for it herself, just giving me the box containing it to give her last week at some fancy restaurant in Hollywood.

'In other news, the Hollywood multi-million dollar movie, 'Bombs' was completed last week. The star Max Stark had this to say about the movie...'
It changed to an interview room where a man sat at a large black chair, wearing an expensive looking suit and his dark hair styled away from his face. There was a maroon wall to his back and a poster to his left. The poster featured the same man running from an explosion, a woman at his side, the title 'Bombs' in bold letters above their heads.
'Filming 'Bombs' was a lot of fun, and it was amazing to work with such an all-star cast..'
I stopped focussing on the words, and started focusing on his pink lips and the elegant curve of his jaw. I wanted to lick it. Oh god. Calm yourself Ryan.
A thought occurred to me, why drool over him on the TV when I can just turn over and see him right there.
I shut of the TV and turned, facing the man next to me. He hadn't moved since the last time I had seen him and I was thank-full, sliding my arm under him and throwing one over his torso. I rested my head on his toned chest and breathed in his sent, instantly relaxing. I listened to his heart beat and the steady rhythm of his breathing.
Soon after, I felt him wake up so I raised my head to see his gorgeous face, well, I aimed to see his face, but got kind of distracted by his abs.
'What are you thinking?' He asked me, his voice as tired as his face looked as he attempted to wake up, gently rubbing his eyes with his fist. He looked adorable, like I could eat him up.
'Well I wasn't thinking about licking your abbs, all the way from your collarbone, right down to-'
'Good morning Ryan,' he laughed, cutting me off, his slight Australian accent flowing through his deep voice. Apparently he didn't want to hear where I was going to lick down too.
Well too bad for him, I see where I stand.
Urg. No. I can't be mad at him for a second. I'm weak when he looks as hot as he did right now, well anytime really.
'Morning Maxie,' I smiled and he laughed at the nickname, wrapping his arms around me and pulling my body up his so our faces were almost touching.
'Happy Anniversary Ryan,' he smiled, lifting his head and finally connecting our lips. He gently rolled his tongue over my bottom lip and I was seconds from giving him entry to my mouth before he pulled away. I whimpered, but he ignored my protest, reaching over and looking at his phone.
'Do you have to go?' I pouted, knowing his answer would be yes.
'Nope, got another hour,' he smirked at me.
'What? Aria will kill you.. and god knows that we don't need her to come looking for you..' He silenced me with a gentle kiss.
I had never met Aria, his publicist and manager, who had been working for him since he first started acting, but from what Max had told me, she loved him like a brother, but she would murder him if he missed something she had scheduled for him. I really didn't need someone murdered in this hotel room, its was my credit card the cleaning fee would go to. No, wait, it was Max's, oh, murder away Aria.
Nah, I would rather not see my boyfriend slaughtered, also having Aria come looking for him and see us in this compromising situation may also lead to MY death, so no, I wasn't going to let him-
'Nope, got the photo-shoot pushed back an hour,' he told me, cutting my thoughts short. Well no murder then, that's always good.
I looked down at the man. He was amazing. I couldn't believe that we had been dating for a year today.
I took in the image of him in bed, the morning light bathing his skin, unlike the way it tried to murder mine. His tanned skin seemed to accept the sun more than my pale skin.
He always had to leave so early, and he was so busy every day, but to push back everything for me, just made me love him even more. I threaded a hand through his dark hair and smiled at him.
'I love you,' I said, leaning down and leaving a small trail of sweet kisses up his neck, pausing to suck and lick at spots of the sensitive skin, I didn't pause, even when the man squirmed under me.
'I think I know what you want to spend this hour doing,' he laughed.
I brought my face up to his and gave him one long sweet kiss.
I loved this man, but we were in Hollywood, where our publicists and managers controlled what we did, so if you asked anyone they would tell you that we didn't even know each other, but, between you and me, I would say that I know him more than I know myself.
I hope you enjoyed the first chapter :)
