《The Untold Truth (Kakashi's Little Brother) *COMPLETED*》Chapter 9: The Real Akatsuki Mission Begins

It was night time and we had found the person we were looking for again. The man before us had silver hair that was slicked back. He was shirtless and had a red scythe. He was also attacking us like a madman, although Zetsu was somewhere hiding as we handled the lunatic.
"GAHAHAHA!" Hidan laughed as he swung at Kakuzu.
Kakuzu jumped away from the swing as he performed a hand sign. One of his mask on his back came out which made me cringe at that. It looked pretty disgusting yet cool at the same time.
"Fire Release: Searing Migraine!"
A fire then emitted from the mask as it blew towards Hidan. I then brought my hand close to my mouth ready to accompany Kakuzu.
"Wind Release: Great Breach!"
A blast of wind came out of my mouth as it combined with Kakuzu's fire style. The fire grew taller as its radius widened. The fired swirled wildly as if it were a tornado. The blast hit Hidan as Kakuzu and I wait to see if the damage was done.
However, we were wrong, Hidan jumped out of the smoke with his scythe in hand ready to cut Kakuzu. We jumped back and Hidan tries to kick Kakuzu, but he was grabbed by the leg and Kakuzu threw him back making Hidan fly. The Jashinist used his scythe to cling on to a tree to help him land on a branch.
"Whew... that was close." Hidan said to himself.
I sighed. "It looks like what our leader said was true."
"Hey, you know? You guys are pretty good... good to be sacrificed, that is!" Hidan said.
"Tell me, have you given any thought to the offer we made you earlier, Hidan?" I asked bluntly.
Yeah, we met him earlier in the day, and it looks like he's just going to be foolish..

"Keh, I don't care one little bit about this Akatsuki thing of yours!" he said. "Because, as long as I'm able to kill, I don't need anything else. I'm free! I kill as a follower of the Way of Jashin. I continue to offer sacrifices to him. And I will forevermore continue to-" he boasted.
"Shut up." Kakuzu said, interrupting him.
"Thank you Kakuzu.." I said with a sigh.
"Ehh..?" Hidan said.
"I didn't come all the way out here to hear some weird religious babbling." Kakuzu said. "I came to see the power of an immortal."
"What? Hey, you." Hidan said, looking at Kakuzu. "Did you just actually say 'weird'?"
"What's wrong with speaking the truth?" Kakuzu mocked.
Hidan laughed. "Oh, man! You're seriously calling the Way of Jashin 'weird', aren't you? That's a very great sin, I'm afraid. Can't be forgiven, no matter what."
Hidan grabbed his scythe. "Lord Jashin... please watch.. as I crush this fool in a mere instant."
"Well.. he has a nice menacing bearing." I said.
"Interesting." Kakuzu said as his threads came out of his arm.
Hidan ran down the tree towards us ready to attack.
"Now, you unbeliever! It's time to die!"
"This is your fight I suppose.. after all, you make fun of his religion." I said.
"Are you just going to watch?" Kakuzu asked.
"No.. I'm going to read. There's a chapter I wanted to get to already." I said already walking away.
"Alright, be careful kid... he could swing at you." he warned.
"Yeah, doubt it."
I sat up against a tree and began to read and heard the lovely sounds of the Jashinist blabbing away at Kakuzu.
"Oi! Kid, come here." Kakuzu called.
I stood up with my book in hand and made my way over to him. I took a quick glance and seen Hidan on the ground.

"How was he?" I asked.
"He was a handful..." he replied.
Just then, Zetsu finally decided to show himself. He popped out from the ground... as usual.
"Do you think you killed him?" Zetsu asked.
At that moment, Hidan twitched his hand a little.
"No, he still seems to be alive." I replied.
Hidan then groaned to himself as he got up.
"Oww... man, that really hurt, damn it." he said rubbing his head.
"Okay then, you are now part of the Akatsuki." I said still reading. "Hurray.."
"Look, I already told you, I don't give a crap about your little organization." he said. "I just wanna rip things to shreds!"
I chuckled. "I'm afraid that isn't possible."
"Why not?" he asked, looking at me.
"If you go on a rampage without any thought... you'll be hunted for the Five Great Nations' bounty and lose all chance of escape." I explained. "And even if you don't die, if you're sealed away... you can't offer any more sacrifices to your dear Lord Jashin. But, if you join the Akatsuki.. you can continue to act while being protected."
By this point, Hidan looked as if he were deep in thought with every word I say.
"And if that means you'll be able to keep right on doing your favorite thing as usual. Also, one of our members is something of a pioneer in immortality. I think you'd benefit a lot, don't you?" I asked.
"A pioneer?" Hidan asked rudely. "And who the heck is that?"
I then looked at Kakuzu with my eyes. Hidan followed and looked at him.
"So you're immortal too, huh?" he asked.
Kakuzu scoffed at him and turned his head.
"And now, I would like for you to give me your answer." I said. "So what are you going to do, Hidan?"
"Hm.." he said in deep thought again.
He sighed in defeat. "All right, I get it! I'll just join up."
"Well then, I guess we've got a deal. Welcome to the group... Hidan." I replied.
He sighed once more as he got up. "Didn't expect something like this to happen. Welp, always expect the unexpected, I guess."
He then gathered his weapon as the four of us make it back to our hideout. And let me say.. Hidan, can sure talk through a whole way of traveling...
"The Akatsuki is now assembled." Pein said.
We were all gathered together as we looked at our leader.
"Konan, Itachi, Kisame, Sasori, Deidara, Kakuzu, Hidan, Satoshi, Maasaki, and Zetsu. Each of you has your own agenda and your own dreams." he began. "We have finally come this far... and now, at last, we will move into full-scale action."
'Oh man... I hope that means I can stop retrieving useless things now.'
"Our targets are all of the Tailed Beasts from the One Tail to the Nine Tails."
'Wait... isn't Naruto a Tailed Beast as well?'
"The opponents are strong, but we will gather all the Tailed Beasts.. and bring the great ambition of the Akatsuki to fruition. We twelve shall accomplish this."
The ground then began to shake as the rock behind Pein opened up.
"And understand this..." Leader said. "Failure is not an option."
Pein then turned around and began to walk.
"Let's go."
We obeyed his command and followed after our leader. However, as we walked behind him I looked to my left with my eyes. And there sat Madara on a statue.. watching us walk.
'Someone will stop you one day Madara... some day... in the near future.'
