《The Untold Truth (Kakashi's Little Brother) *COMPLETED*》Chapter 8: The New Member & The Member to Be

Two years... two years, of being in this depressing organization. Within these years, I've become more... hostile to my surroundings. I guess you can say that I've become insane. During those two years, I have these nervous ticks when I see even a glance of blood. Why am I like this you ask? Madara... he watches me.. he.. ME!
He tells me what I should do, how I should kill... and who I should be. I don't even know who I am anymore! But I can say this... I he's trying to make me his weapon. Even though I'm going insane, I'm sane enough to know what he thinks. Due to him watching me, I'm more alert to everything around me to make sure I am at least safe to be on my own for a few seconds.
Day by day my killing has become a problem, not for the organization of course, but to the people. It was becoming more gruesome, that it looked inhumane. But it's not what I want to do! It's him! He wants me to build a reputation! These hands... they're tainted! Blood.. bloodis stained on these hands! All this guilt is killing me! I-.. I need some air. I grab my cloak and put it on as I walked out the cave. I walk a good distance away from it and leaned onto a tree sliding down slowly. I can't do this anymore... I want to go ..
"Satoshi.." a husky voice interrupted my thoughts.
I stayed silent as the person before me continued to speak.
"We have to go and get a new partner for Sasori."
I look up and met with Itachi's eyes.
"Why can't you take Kisame with you..?" I ask.
"He claims he's too busy. So you, Sasori, and I will be finding a person named Deidara in Iwa." he explained.
I sighed as I got up. "Get Sasori so we can get this over with.."
Itachi placed his hand on my shoulder. "I know it's hard... but this is what we agreed to do, for ."
"I know.. you don't need to remind me." I mumbled.

Itachi looked at me for a bit and decided to head back to the base to get Sasori. I stood in my spot patiently waiting for them.
'Why do I have to go...'
"Let's go." Itachi said.
I nodded my head as I walked beside the two members. The journey from our base to Iwa will be at least a few days, maybe even less since we have the almighty impatient red head with us. I sighed, at least I know they won't talk when necessary... so I guess you can say, it's going to be a silent trip.
We make it to Iwa but it wasn't directly of the village. Maybe in the outskirts of it. We were told that this Deidara guy was in a place that looks like a temple I guess you could say. The building was constructed beautifully as the inside was dimly lit.
The three of us walked inside and with every step, you could hear our footsteps echo. As we walked, we heard faint laughter coming from a certain room. We all looked at each other and slowly made our way there.
"Yes! Another masterpiece!" the voice said.
We quietly opened the door, and there sat a long blonde haired person. We walk into the room and stood there.
"So this is the person named Deidara huh?" I said.
The blonde looked behind him to take a quick glance.
"The Akatsuki? What do you want?" he asked rudely.
"You are being recruited into our little organization." I said. "Now let's go."
"Sorry, but that really has nothing to do with me. The only thing I want to do is concentrate on my art.. hm." he said, ignoring us.
I sighed. 'Of course.. they always refuse.'
"Art?" Sasori asked.
"The art I create with clay that I make myself!" Deidara boasted. "It can also explode. And when it does, it makes its existence more sublime... and that's when it finally becomes true art! Because art... is an explosion! Hm."
"Disgusting." Sasori said.
'That... sounded so lame...'

"That's enough." Itachi said, taking a step. "I'll handle this.
I face palmed. "Please.."
Itachi activated his Sharingan making Deidara turn around and look at our direction.
"What? You want to fight?" he asked.
"Yes, and if I win, you'll become a member of the Akatsuki." Itachi said.
"Or I can just take him out and we can just leave..." I said.
However, I was ignored as Deidara spoke up.
"Don't underestimate me, or my art either! Hm!" he said, getting up.
"Gee, I really like your plan Satoshi.. oh really? Thank you, it's not like it's a difficult plan or anything." I said mumbling to myself.
Deidara threw his art as Itachi ran after it, allowing it to hit him. I watched as Deidara activated his bomb, but of course Itachi didn't even have a scratch on him.
"I don't want to deal with this... if you need me, I'll be reading." I said taking a seat.
"You're going to read that vulgar book again?" Sasori said.
"No.. it's a new book actually. Icha Icha Tactics... and it's not vulgar, it is greatly written." I said not looking at him.
"I see no difference."
"I don't think you could at all." I mocked.
"Watch that tongue of yours Satoshi.." he threatened.
"I'll watch it when you finally decide to stop being a stick in the mud." I said as I dodged an explosive.
"This isn't fun and games, Satoshi." he said.
"I never said it was..."
"Hn, whatever.. anyways, it seems that their fight is over."
"That was fairly quick.." I said getting back up. "Oh goody, he trapped himself..."
"What? Genjutsu! Since when?" Deidara asked.
"Right from the beginning." I said. "When you first saw Itachi's Sharingan, you were already under his genjutsu."
The light from outside, then glared ontoDeidara's face. He tried to cover it until it seemed he was mesmerized by where the light was. There stood Itachi on a pile of rubble. The light made it as if he were a holy spirit with glowing red eyes. The art that was wrapped around Deidara fell off of him and it seemed that he was troubled. He gripped his face as if he were angry.
"You have lost this fight." Itachi said.
Deidara then screamed at his loss making me inwardly smile at this. He was too overconfident... what a shame.
We captured Deidara and began taking our leave. However, as we did so... we were all called to a meeting. I sighed as I closed my eyes ready to use that hologram jutsu of Pein's.
"It's been quite a while since all of us came together like this." Kisame said.
"What's the occasion, this time?" Kakuzu asked.
"The twelfth and final candidate to join us has been located." Pein answered.
'Oh.. I know who he's talking about.'
"Finally... and?" Sasori asked.
"Satoshi.." Pein said.
"There's a new religious group calling themselves the Way of Jashin. Well, I guess you could call them a cult." I explained. "On my outings, I gathered information that recently a group succeeded in a certain experiment."
"Oh, and what would this experiment be?" Kisame asked.
"Immortality." I answered.
"Immortality?" Kakuzu asked as if it were impossible.
"The one who became immortal is a man named Hidan. He used to be a ninja of the Hidden Steam Village." I said.
"We will bring Hidan in as our newest member." Pein said. "Satoshi, Kakuzu, and Zetsu, your task is to bring him in."
"Understood." Zetsu replied.
Everyone then left except the three who were called to do the mission and our leader.
"Beware, all of you.." Pein warned. "From what I know of him... he won't be an easy one to convince."
We all vanished and I finally reopened my eyes. I then smacked my hand onto my face, growling as the others look at me in curiosity.
"What's up with him? Un." Deidara asked.
"Why..." I mumbled quietly. "WHY DO I ALWAYS GET RETRIEVAL MISSIONS!" I screamed.
