You were wiping down the kitchen countertop after dinner humming to one of your favourite songs. Once you were done with that, you plan to refresh and head to bed where you'd sit and finish the rest of your homework.
You recently asked your boyfriend to move in with you but he didn't wanna be a burden so Taehyung has been working on part time jobs to help you guys with the expenses. This has resulted in him visiting you less these days but you were okay with it because living alone isn't easy right?
As long as you had him at the end of the day, you didn't have any objections. You also worked as a part timer at a nearby cafe after which you'd return home to eat. Then you do your homework before heading to bed.
You were busy all day except for the weekends. Being an Art student wasn't easy after all. Sometimes Taehyung would be waiting for you before you returned or he'd leave small post it notes around the house to inform you when he'd come home.
You always found it a bit dramatic since he owned a mobile through which he could easily text but he found it cool to stick notes around the house and leave since he took up multiple jobs in a single day.
The way these notes were written, the handwriting and the paper all made you feel a sense of familiarity like you've seen these before but you couldn't point out where exactly.
However today you found no such note in the usual places he used to stick so hoping that the boy would return anytime soon, you had left the windows unlocked because that's how he usually entered.
Half an hour had passed since you entered your room with the idea of finishing the assignment that you had due tomorrow but ended up watching your favourite comedy show on YouTube.
You were so into the show laughing and clapping like a seal when all the lights in the house went off at once.
"Ahh power cut!" You groan.
Your eyes land on your unfinished assignment as a sigh leaves your lips.
"Guess I can't finish the assignment now even if I want to," You shrug.
All the laughing had gotten your throat dry so you got up to get yourself some water.

You had just stepped into the kitchen when you heard the living room window slide open. You peeked your head out of the kitchen door to see the manly figure stroll in almost inaudibly.
"If you're trying to surprise me, then you failed cuz' I already caught you sneaking in Mr.Kim," You playfully laugh at his attempt.
You got no response but the sound of footsteps told you he was heading closer to where you were.
"How did your day go? Did Lilly try to hit on you today as well?" You start a usual conversation asking him about the female staff at his work place who would constantly hit on Taehyung.
You were facing the refrigerator as you chucked down water when you hear footsteps making their way to you.
"Why aren't you answering me?" You got a bit annoyed when you were the only one who's been talking.
But before you turned around, his hands held onto your hips firmly. You shuddered when you felt his hot breath on your nape.
"Don't tell me your horny right now," You roll your eyes because this wasn't the first time he showed up in such a mood.
Taehyung is the type of guy to get horny now and then but he was considerate enough to control himself knowing you're still not ready for that.
But today, his grip felt somewhat tight. And his cologne smelt different than his usual one so you assumed he changed up his perfume.
His lack of response was getting to you but before you latched out on him, a piece of paper lying next to the leg of the refrigerator caught your eyes.
You frowned picking up the piece of paper with his hands still holding your hips tightly.
And the paper read,
"Gotta work the nightshift tonight since it's Thursday so don't stay up waiting for me! Sleep tight Jagiya!
You swear your blood went cold when you read the note. Even your breath got caught up in your throat as shivers crawled all over your body.
If Taehyung is working on a nightshift, then who was the one holding behind you?
"Why did you stop talking babe?" His manly voice bore into your ears as he spoke so close.

You've heard that voice somewhere...
You wanted to turn around to look at his face but his tight hold on your waist didn't budge.
"W-who is this?" Your voice shivered along with your staggered breathing.
"Took you long enough to realize I'm not Taehyung," He chuckled letting go of your waist.
You spun around to be met with his face merely an inch away from yours. Your eyeballs bulge out when you recognized his features in the dark.
"Jungkook..."
He hums at the way his name flows out of your mouth.
"I'm glad you still remember my name," He gives you a dark smile.
"How did you-" You start but he stops you my showing his palm in front of your face.
"I know you'll not stop with your interrogation once you start," He says.
More than curiosity, fear and alarm is what ran through your blood at the moment so your hand sub consciously reached behind in search of a knife from the knife stand which you had on the countertop next to the fridge.
Once you catch hold of the weapon, you point it at him throwing him a threatening glare.
"I won't hesitate to use this on you-"
"Whoa easy there woman," He raised both his hands up as if he's innocent.
"I'm not here to harm you. Even if I want to, there's no point in doing that so hear me out will you?"
Still holding the knife in hand, you guys make your way to the chair to let him speak.
"Put that knife down, I won't hurt you," He says.
"I don't trust you," You retort.
"How the hell did you even get here!?" You question.
"I got to the Human World even before you did."
You piped your neck at that answer, not clearly understanding what he meant. Jungkook began to explain what actually happened after the fight with Taehyung on that day.
Taehyung was only capable of distracting Jungkook for a short period before the younger set fire to the Black Magic book, the only source which acted as the portal to the Human World.
When the latter found the book was on fire, he realized his time was too limited to bring you back home safely. So throwing Jungkook aside, Taehyung focussed on bringing you back to your world before the portal turned to ashes.
What you both didn't realize was, the moment Taehyung left Jungkook, he managed to make his way to the magic door that lead to the other world before Taehyung rescued you.
"So you had been here since then?!" You gasped and he nods.
Where had this guy been lurking all these days?
"There's no point in me hurting you, because I won't be able to go back anyway. Plus I already have a part of your powers which is enough for me," He smirked.
But why would he take such a chance when he knew he wouldn't be able to go back?
"Surviving in this Human society is a real struggle. Searching for a new shelter and food every now and then made me wanna give up. That's why I decided to show up and tag along with you guys," He shrugged.
"You didn't have a roof nor anything to eat for these past few days?" Your eyes grew in concern.
No matter how bad they hurt you, you couldn't help but feel remorse when you heard them struggle.
The boy looked down shaking his head making himself look pathetic. But still you were clever enough to not trust him completely.
You threw him a questionable look when he said he wanted to become your friend.
You definitely did not trust the guy but you couldn't bear to see anyone living in the streets so you ponder for a while before nodding.
"I can allow you to sleep here for tonight but we are gonna sort this out when Taehyung is present tomorrow before coming to a conclusion," You sound strict.
He nods his head smiling like a bunny.
"You owe me more explanation but I'm sleepy now so I'll listen tomorrow. "
With that you head inside your bedroom not forgetting to lock the door because for now, your safety is all that mattered.
Meanwhile, the boy outside snuggled into the couch menacing a sinister smile.
"This naive girl will never recognize a wolf in a sheep's clothing~"
