Taehyung was too focused on Jin earlier to notice the aroma of blood circulating the hall.
That's when he took note of the blood oozing out of Yoongi's head who laid there barely breathing.
That's when an idea flashes his mind.
Vampire blood can cure a human the same way human blood can cure a vampire.
His blood may not directly work on you but through Yoongi it would. So pricking his hand with a small glass piece there, he squished open Yoongi's mouth letting a few drops of blood into it.
And left the place hoping your friend would get you back to life.
Every other sound around me sounded muffled except my breath. Not only that he had bashed a bottle on my head but also the fact that only 50% of myself is present here now deprived half of my body strength.
What will happen if they kill me here?
Would I still go back to my body?
Are you kidding Yoongi? Of course not
Voices continued to chatter in my head as my hooded eyes watched Taehyung's leg as he spoke.
My eyes wouldn't cope up anymore so I let it close focussing on my breathing.

"Yoongi?"
"Hey Yoongi!"
"Wake up"
After what felt like minutes later, I opened my eyes to find an angelic face in front of me.
"Who are you?" I asked the girl in front of me getting up.
I expected to feel pain in my head but I surprisingly felt fine, like I hadn't been hurt at all.
Only then I realized my outfit has been changed into fully white and the girl opposite me was dressed in a wedding gown.
Wait, she is......
"You came here to save Y/n," She says and I nod.
"But I don't think I can," I hold my head frustrated.

"Only you can," She lifts my chin up smiling at me but I blink at her cluelessly.
"Human blood can cure a vampire the same way vampire blood can cure a human," She says.
"But Y/n is--"
"I know, there's a reason I made you come here and this is it. Make Y/n drink your blood," She urged me, "Save her."
Now I remember this girl
She was the one who kept appearing in my nightmares, the one who showed me the way to the Vampire World....
"What's your name?" I asked her.
She smiled placing her hand on my head.
"I'm Jihyo," Was all I heard before a beam of light blinded my vision dragging me back to reality.
I jolted awake to find myself in the hall of the mansion. Looking around, I found Y/n, Jin and Jimin lying unconscious in various corners of the room.
Grabbing a broken glass piece next to me, I bit my lip as I made a big cut on my left wrist before running over to Y/n.
I pressed her cheeks to force her mouth open and pressed my wrist on her lips letting my blood flow into her mouth.
I watched her consciousness began slipping in as mine started slipping out once again.
"Yoongi?" She croaked out and that was the last thing I heard before falling on my back slipping into darkness.
Y/n ah"
"Wake up Y/n," A familiar female voice got me out of my trance.
I creaked my eyes open to see the one person who I missed the most.
"Jisoo!" I engulfed her in a tight hug getting all emotional.
When we parted, she looked into my eyes holding my face delicately.
"You're here to survive, live your life in front of those who want to end you."

Her words impacted me a lot but one question made it all seem impossible.
"But how? They're all against me! I need to save Yoongi too. How can I do this alone?"
"You can. Keep fighting! You don't know if the chance will slip out of your hands or not but if you don't even fight for it, then you'll regret later," She said.
I blink at her meaningful words. She was almost the same age as mine when she was in my situation too. I'm shocked at how mature and thoughtful she is.
"And one more thing," She said getting up, her warmth leaving along with her.
"Unnie don't go--"
"Not all of them are against you."
She keeps walking further until she disappears into light.
"Don't leave me again," I sit and cry like a baby.
"Please take me with you..."
All of a sudden, I found it difficult to breathe, like someone was choking me. Coughing so much for air made me dizzy. Finally I fall back into the darkness I just got out from.
.
.
.
Being able to breathe normally again, I opened my eyes slowly adjusting to the lighting of the hall.
"Oh my God Yoongi," I chocked on my own tears seeing him lie unconciously in his own pool of blood next to me.
The boy had already lost too much blood due to Jungkook's hit. Now that he had an open cut on his wrist sent me to panic mode.
"Please wake up! Min Yoongi! You can do this come on," I say trying to shake him awake but his body felt ice cold under my touch.
"This can't happen, you can't die!" Tears began rolling down my cheeks as I didn't feel his heart beating anymore.
"You said we'd make out of this together!" I cried to the lifeless male on my knees.
A few groans across the room drew my attention. My body switched to alarm mode seeing Jimin getting up slowly.
Do vampires heal that fast!?
Just a few minutes ago he was lying there like a corpse and now he looked like a zombie getting back to life 10 times stronger.
Suddenly his eyes snapped to me and I
got to my feet stumbling backwards.
"Shall we continue where we left babe?" He smirked now fast walking towards me.
In less than a second, he was right in front of me but before he tried anything else, the entire place went black.
Pitch black
The power had shut down.
That doesn't mean he can't see me in the dark. Because they're vampires, not zombies.
But that second was enough to distract him so grasping the chance God gave me, I ran out of there as fast as my feet carried me.
It was difficult for me to see in the dark so I stumped my feet against a few furnitures as I tried to run from Jimin.
"Oh come on Y/n, you know I can smell, hear and see you in this dark," I heard his voice a few feet away from me but in one swift moment, my feet was swept off the ground into mid air.
I screeched as Jimin threw me onto his shoulder climbing up the stairs now. Throwing a line of curse words at him, I keep hitting his back as hard as I can but he seemed unfazed.
"Your power is all gone. Now you're just a useless little pathetic dhampir. You're gonna die anyway so why not have a little bit of fun with you?" He chuckled walking into a bedroom.

Reality Grants One Chance
Some people are lucky, some aren't, some - have terrible luck. Our "hero" is of the latter kind. During young age he got into an accident, which allowed him to learn the fact that he belongs to a rare group of people.. People diagnosed with lung cancer, which he, however survived. Can't say he's lucky, as his life went downhill from that point... Our story happens years later, when his fate decides to make a loop and throw him in the same kind of accident. He gets hit by a truck. Surviving the crash, suffering just a few scratches, he is ultimately "lucky" to find himself out of the hospital in no time.. however every bit of good luck always brings him terrible luck afterwards. This time pushing him maybe a bit too far.. How far? Making him vanish without a trace and find himself in the middle of an unknown forrest. Doesn't sound bad? He can consider himself lucky? Just wait and see...It can always get worse.. always.. .... Congratulations, you've made it through the intro and into the author note! If you by any chance missed the tags and didn't read the warning, please do that now. I really recommend you to. Before you jump to reading, and unintentionally scar yourself, do mind that the story is about a dark, unforgiving world, a world in which you have more opportunities to die a horrible death, than take a piss. Hero doesn't have great luck, he has dumb persistance, he doesn't go through any trial with a breeze, he pays the price of blood, flesh and tears to live..and will be paying for every mistake.. No one outright explains anything to him, just as us for the most part - he is not sure what the hell is going on.. Some real survival tactics are used as a base of the descriptions, they are as important to the world and character as any other element.. Mind that the story starts really slow, but as the stone starts rolling downhill - the pace gets faster.. Every tag for this novel has a reason to be there, so if you don't see the particular element there, don't panic.. it's either well camoufalged, subtle or simply not encountered as of yet. Big thanks to Hobbo, Enyhrye and Hveth! ...not only pointing that the description could be better, but providing invaluable input.. and being patient enough to give fleshed out advice.

There is a common line of questioning that falls upon students within their first moments at Kingsly. “Why?”. The student asks, “Why am I here?”. This is a futile line of questioning. There are those who remember, and those who do not. I’ll spare you the technical explanation — that’s what we have teachers for. The jist is as follows: those who remember are... how do I put this... more likely. They occupy more time. and the space that time has allowed them — the pertinent amount — is experienced no matter what. Allow me to offer you a bit of personal information: I am not one who remembers. There is no time relevant to me, no space that I occupy. I exist by carving myself here, and continue to exist in the same fashion. You would do well to follow suit. Why am I here? Because I force myself to be. Because the universe, the universes, for all its kicking and screaming, cannot escort me out.

Needless to say, getting back to see his little girl's youth orchestra recital's gonna be a bitch. ELIOT NESS FOR MAYOR is a short novel of magical-realist fiction, a stand-alone book in the Shantytown Cycle. Written for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), I will be posting revisions as I complete them and should be done by early 2022, though I am making major changes so the timing may be longer. This book is cross-posted on two websites: Wattpad and Royal Road. Both are reputable, high-quality sites. Do not trust this book on other websites. They "scrape" material from reputable sites, posting the stolen material as an original to lure users in, but contain links that include malicious code.
