"Actually we were in a hurry to finish the mission because the sooner we finish, the bigger our reward is but it was Taehyung who suggested to wait until the Total Solar Eclipse so that we could suck out all your powers for ourselves before killing you."
"I know you were in charge of this whole thing but we still agreed on sharing her. But now you're protecting her like she's all yours," Jungkook pouted to Tae, "You're even more selfish that I thought."
"And that's the reason why you've been pretending to protect me from all the evil so that you can exploit me until your heart's content?" I turned to my so called 'saviour' with teary eyes.
Basically now I felt like a bubble gum which is chewed until it's sweetness is gone and then spit out.
I forced the urge to break down in front of them. Fuck, is this what they call betrayal?
"I know you're not in the state to believe anything I say now but that's not the reason Y/n," His eyes showed remorse.
"Then what is!? What is the reason Taehyung!?" I screamed at him, "You're gonna kill me anyway so don't I deserve to know the truth before I die?"
"You won't die. I won't let you die," Saying this he tries to move from his place.
"Stop with the lies," I raise my hand.
"I'm not lying! Trust me."
"There's no reason for me to trust you. You guys don't deserve it!" I yell.
I hold the weight of my head in my hands breathing out stressfully. How am I going to save myself on that Solar eclipse? It's like that day is going to be the turning point of life.

Life or death?
Who will win?
Will things go back to normal?
I made up my mind to accept the fact that what will have to come, will come. Be ready to face it.
Almost every question that was left hanging unanswered, was coming together now. From the very beginning of my Seoul journey, the restaurant incident, Taehyung's appearance, Lisa showing up in the middle of the night, the frozen corpse, that little hangout with Yoongi--
I paused my thoughts looking down at the amulet that hung around my neck. How hilarious of me to think Yoongi and I were in the same boat when living beings were the ones haunting me here while he dealt with the dead.
I remove the amulet tossing it to who knows where letting my mind continue to wander. The two boys watched my every act with an unreadable expression on their faces.
Okay enough of lamenting about the past, how am I going to get my way out of this?
Even if not for myself, I must at least get Yoongi out of this who ended up here for my sake.
I took a deep breath to organize my own thoughts. For now, those who are on my side are Jin and Yoongi. The only person who had the upper hand here is Jin. Maybe I could go to him for help!
But wait, I don't know where I am...
"Yah! What place is this?" I asked Kook.
"Aha look at the disrespect," He smirked at my attitude.
"Answer me you--"
"Aaaahhh!" Just then an earsplitting scream of a male echoed above us.
A few more muffled voices which I failed to pay attention to earlier indicated that there were more people in here.
I immediately shot up onto my feet rushing towards the door which Jungkook had left unlocked when he came in.

I expected them to try to hold me back but both of them remained unfazed. My brows grew together in suspicion eyeing Jungkook.
He seemed unbothered.
Taehyung still sat there with the same worried expression.
A few more cries echoed through the hall above me and the more I paid attention to it, the more familiar the voice sounded until it rang in my ears.
"Yoongi!"
I ran towards the exit of this dungeon opening a door which led to a closet. On opening the closet door, I found myself in a very familiar place where I had been to twice.
The Basement!
Looking back to where I came from, I realized that this basement had yet another secret hideout inside one of these closet doors.
So I had been inside the mansion this whole while!?
Without thinking twice, I ascended the stairs of the basement but unfortunately it was locked from outside.
"Ah shit," I cursed before another idea popped up in my head.
The second exit!
I descended down the stairs again crawling out through the tunnel I had discovered the other day and re entered around the mansion through the front door which was ajar.
I was actually surprised not seeing Taehyung trail behind me in spite of leaving him untied and the doors open.
"Yoongi!?" I yelled looking around until my eyes land on the scene there knocking the breath out of me.
There stood Jimin holding a knife against Yoongi's neck until his eyes landed on me.
"Missed me babygirl?"

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.
