"Thank y-you hyung," Taehyung sniffed as Jin didn't waste any time in pulling his head to his chest comforting the younger boy.
After what felt like a few minutes, Taehyung pulled away wiping his tears.
"I'll go check up on Jimin," He said before strolling into the basement.
Jin stood outside letting his mind wander to all the information he just received when Taehyung's panicked voice rang through his ears.
"Hyung!"
"
Jin rushed into the basement only to find the unlocked cuff hanging from the wall.
"How did he even unlock it!?" Taehyung held his head in despair.
"Shit what do we do now," Jin seemed tensed.
"Do you have any idea where he could go?" Taehyung turned to Jin.
"I'm not sure... Does he know anyone else other than us? Because he's probably planning to stay away from us till the Solar Eclipse so he can become immortal," Jin said.
"Uhm..." Yoongi walked in, "Have you guys seen Y/n? I've been searching for her for the past 10 minutes but she doesn't seem to be here."
"She might be here somewhere," Jin added.
"No I looked around well. She isn't here," He shook his head.
"What the... Did he take Y/n with him?!" Taehyung gasped.
"Fucking great."
"He must be somewhere here. There are not many places he can hide in so if we part our ways and search, we'll be able to find him right?" Taehyung said.
"Yes Tae, you go with Y/n's friend and I'll go alone," Jin said as they parted their ways.
⊹─◂▸★◂▸─⊹
"Not here...." Taehyung said peeping behind cars and trash cans.
"Yah, he's definitely not gonna be anywhere you're searching. That man is certainly clever enough to hide in a place where you've no idea of," Yoongi shrugged looking at Tae.

"I don't know anything about him nor his past but I'll try to help you. Now tell me, do you know anyone of Jimin's childhood friends?"
Taehyung stood there for a while looking up in an attempt to think. The pale boy just stood there tapping his feet waiting for the other one to give an answer.
"Ah!" Screamed Taehyung as he remembered someone.
"We three were really good friends in the past. The only person Jimin would know besides his brother and I is....
Taehyung claimed to know where Jungkook lived so he took Yoongi with him to Jungkook's place. It was just about a 10 minute walk.
He pressed the door bell waiting for him to open up.
No response.
Taehyung pressed the doorbell again waiting for a few more minutes until the door finally opened revealing a familiar face.
"Whoa, you've been working out a lot lately huh," Taehyung said eyeing Jungkook from head to toe.
"Yeah," Said the bunny looking boy.
"Oh this is my friend Yoongi. Yoongi, this is Jungkook," Tae introduced them to each other before Jungkook moved away from the door inviting them in.
"So why are you here all of a sudden?"
"That's not the question you ask your friend when he visits you Kook," Tae shook his head disappointed as Kook's rudeness.
"Whatever, what brings you here?" He faked a smile.
Yoongi noticed that Jungkook seemed shocked to see Taehyung at his door, almost uncomfortable.
"Jimin......did you see him here by any chance?"
"No I haven't."
Jungkook's reply was instant, making things look even suspicious.
"Oh..." Taehyung sighed his eyes looking around for a clue.
His brows furrowed when something near the wall caught his eye.
A star earring.
Jungkook wears earrings too but this seemed more like something women would wear. It's not my concern to bother who he brings over but that earring looked oddly familiar.

"Never knew you were the type to bring girls over Kook," I asked playfully.
"What do you mean?"
"That earring belongs to a girl, doesn't it?" I said eyeing that piece of metal.
"I uh-- that.." Jungkook hesitated to answer.
"Doesn't it look like Y/n's?" Yoongi's voice filled the living room.
"Oh yeah! I knew it looked familiar!"
"But why is it here?"
Both of our gazes turned to Jungkook expecting an answer.
"I-it's not like she's the only one who owns this kind of earring," Jungkook shrugged.
"You sound like you're familiar with her," Yoongi said.
Our heads piped in that direction when we heard that noise. It was more like something heavy fell down.
"Guys I'm kind of busy at the moment. I'll see you next time," Jungkook urged us to leave faking a smile.
"He's hiding something," Y/n's friend whispered into my ear.
"What was that sound Jungkook? Who are you keeping inside?" I asked.
"No one."
"Hold him down, I'll go check inside," The guy next to me whispered and paced inside before I could respond.
Jungkook was about to stop him but I held him so that he couldn't escape.
"If I find out that you're doing something wrong, you're screwed," I hissed at him.
"Look who's telling that," He smirked.

The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.
