I see you😛
excuse me?
i saw you finally looked up from your book lmaoo. have a nice lunch.
Lauren's nose crinkles at the text messages, but she puts her phone down anyways. Camila is really starting to freak her out a bit. Lauren realizes she hasn't brought it up to any of her friends, so that might be a good idea now to just one.
"Hey, Dinah" Lauren says, tapping her shoulder.
"Yeah, Lauren?" she looks up from her phone.
"Do you know why Camila wanted my number? She's been creeping me out." She says with a confused face.
Dinah sets her phone down with a small sigh and turns towards Lauren. Odds are she was ready to drop a bombshell on Lauren, or something like that.
"Lauren, I'm sure you've heard of Camila's reputation. Kind of a fuck boy, but- actually, wait, no, that's about it. I just think you need to start getting a little more frisky," she wags her eyebrows and playfully shoves you "if you know what I mean."
Lauren scrunches up her face in disgust, because first of all, frisky? and second of all, Camila isn't even her type.
"Dinah, you know I'm busy with all my school work. I can't afford having any distractions. Besides, I would never date her." Lauren scoffs in disgust.
"I'm not saying date, I'm just saying...you need some stress relief."
"I'm not stressed."
Dinah gives you a 'really?' look with her eyebrows raised.
"Okay, so... maybe I'm a little stressed? But that doesn't mean I need that type of relief. It's our last year, I'll be fine."
Dinah seems to just drop the conversation, probably because she just wanted to go back on her phone, and continues eating. Lauren decides to close her AP physics textbook and relax for the little while they have left. She lays her head on Dinah's shoulder and just looks around outside. There's a bunch of people around doing last minute studying, eating their lunch, making out, and-

Holy shit that's Camila making out with someone.
Lauren stares at them for a while. Not that she likes it or anything, just because it's so appalling that they think it's okay to do that in public. They're at school, they should be studying or eating lunch, not sticking their tongues down each other's throats. Lauren has to admit, though, Camila's outfit does look...nice on her. She's wearing a black and white varsity t-shirt, light blue jeans, and light blue vans with black socks. She has the jeans rolled up a little because that's in, apparently. Lauren tries to avert her eyes, she really does, but before she can Camila, shoves the girl against the building wall and starts sucking on her neck. The girl seems to be really enjoying it, guessing by her flushed face and closed eyes. Lauren finally looks away right when Camila squeezes the girls butt. The bell rings, which snaps Lauren out of it and makes her look away. Dinah gives her hug goodbye before getting to class. Lauren has AP calculus next which sucks, but it's whatever. Before she steps in class she checks her phone to see she has one new message.
hope you liked the show, Lauren

The Children of the Divine Limit
A realistic, psychological isekai: What pushes people to rejoice, to torture, to sacrifice, to kill? What gives some the will to survive and thrive in a new land and others the craving for dominance and exploitation? What would those who grew up without power all their lives do when given the approval and blessings of God Himself? How far will someone go to protect those close to them? How far will someone go to exact vengeance against an unjust world? How far can someone go before the abyss looks back at them? "Everything in the world is about sex — except sex. Sex is about power." - Oscar Wilde “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.” - Abraham Lincoln Greed is the worst of all the deadly sins; all of human history lays out the evidence to support this thesis. Consider all of the above before reading this story: A 12th-grade high school class is sent to another world; a world of sword and magic called Omicron where other-worlders are revered as heroes given the divine blessing of the Lord God Sapiora, creator of Omicron's human race. It is currently a world at war. The humans of Omicron need these divine heroes as weapons against the Demon Emperor and the demihuman forces of the evil god Azazelin. However, two students within the class, Ajax Leonid and Shaula Seikennith, haven't been given the hero's blessing. They've been given something else, something more curious; the blood of a deity who noticed their specialness. As a result, after escaping the clutches of their summoners who tried to kill them for their lack of heroic potential, Ajax and Shaula enter the new world of Omicron with no one on their side except each other. While wading through rivers of blood, Ajax and Shaula seek a stable life, a life where they can salvage happiness. They have each other above all else. Perhaps the cost will be worth it. Perhaps not.

Alex was dying, and all the millions his father had left him meant nothing. The life he had been so eager to embrace, to do the memory of his father proud, would soon come to an end. Cancer. That ugly, terrible word. He had tried to be strong for his mother, even when the treatments left him violently ill, his body wracked with pain, his friends and even his girlfriend leaving him almost as fast as his once impressive physique wasted to nothing under the ravages of his illness. And just when he thought all hope was dead, a couple discrete referals placed by high-powered friends of his family got him an exclusive spot at the most sophisticated cryonic facility in the world. He didn't know if there was such a thing as an afterlife, but part of the package included uploading a copy of his cortex into a digital universe filled countless worlds to explore, where he could embrace whatever class or profession he could dream of. All of which sounded hell of a lot better than the miserable death waiting for him in the real world. In the end, he signed the paperwork, putting his pathetic flickering life in the hands of potential quacks and charlatans. After all, with death just days away, what did he have to lose? Even if he could never be successfully revived, he could at least adventure his heart out. (Authors Note: Books 1-6 are now live on Amazon and here is a link if you wanted to check it out!
