❝She is a thunderstorm wrapped in a beautiful flesh
Looking to be felt and understood in a world that loves sunny days ❞
Voices. Few voices echoing and footsteps running here and there frantically, broke my magical sleepy spell.
I groaned softly shifting closer towards the source, which was giving me warmth and a sense of security. I felt the arm that was wrapped around my waist tighten.
Slowly, I opened my eyes and instantly froze as I saw Ethan's face just a few inches away from mine. Mellow lips slightly parted releasing soft snores, thick eyelashes resting comfortably against his cheeks, giving him an adorably angelic look.
Stop staring! I scolded myself and quietly tried to wriggle from his tight grip.
A slow rumble left his mouth as his eyes fluttered open. Mesmerizing hazel eyes filled with daze bored into mine. For a moment, I actually forgot to breathe, it just didn't seem important at the time. Nothing did.
"Good morning" He mumbled smiling lazily, his Groggy voice indicating that he was still drowsy.
"Yeah yeah, now can you move?" I coldly muttered, squirming due to lack of space between us.
He chuckled and removed his arm from my waist, rolling over. Sighing in relief, I quickly sat up and fixed my skirt which moved dangerously up in sleep.
Looking around the room, I saw my black heels on the floor besides Ethan's T-shirt. My head shot up towards the door when the doorknob jiggled slightly.
"It's locked" I heard a muffled noise, which I assumed was Nate.
"Yes! It is" I yelled and got up from the bed hurriedly, fixing my hair. We were going to have a long talk.
"Winter?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you in there?" Behind my Ethan laughed quietly as I rolled my eyes at his stupid question.
"No, I went to fucking Narnia" I said picking up Ethan's Tee and threw it at him. Then, I began to put on my heels.
"Oh.. wait, What?"
"Just open the goddamn door. How are always this stupid?" I yelled frustratingly, but quickly shut my mouth when I heard another muffled noise.
"Is that Finn?" I asked quickly.
"Yep" Nate replied from the other side of the door, then silence followed.
"Do you plan to stay here?" I spoke coldly turning towards Ethan, who was still lying on bed. He closed his eyes, letting out a small yawn and slowly shook his head.
Suddenly the door creaked open. Revealing the two intruders, in their lazy attire and worn out expressions.
"Do you always leave people locked in your house?" I snarled at Finn. He just grunted in response.
"Don't mind her. She's just being cranky" Ethan chuckled, coming by my side. I glared at him and when he saw me glaring, he shot me a grin.

"Why are you screaming?" Finn groaned clutching his head.
"How the hell are you not Hungover?" I asked Nate furrowing my eyebrows, after seeing how fucked up Finn looked.
"It's art" Nate winked, his eyes shining evilly. Okay then... I thought unsure.
"Whatever, I just want to back to my dorm and have some heavenly breakfast"
"Lunch. It's 12:30 PM" Nate corrected as I just stared at him in disbelief.
"Well I am calling the cleaning crew, so you guys better leave" Finn let out a sigh. I rolled my eyes and pushing past him, I quickly got out of the room.
"I am staying here, but Ethan can offer you a ride" Nate suggested following me, with Finn and Ethan not far behind
I looked over my shoulder and nodded, walking downstairs. I abruptly stopped in my tracks, when I stepped down the last stair.
Everything was a mess. Beer bottles and plastic cups were laying dead on the floor. There were small pieces of what seemed like a precious Vase scattered everywhere. And the furniture looked like, It wasn't going to be any use anymore.
"Jesus fuck" I breathed as I consumed the wild sight in front of me.
"Technically Jesus wasn't suppose to fuck" I heard Ethan chimed from behind.
"Shut up! Smart-ass"
"So Ethan you have your car here, Right?" Finn asked as Ethan Hummed in reply, lazily.
"Great! You'll drive Winter to her dorm"
Ethan looked at me waiting for me to flip or something, but I didn't. I just gave him a bored look in return. Yes, I was really desperate to leave that place.
"Sure" He finally murmured, not breaking our eye contact. His Hazel eyes steadily kept me hostage.
"Very well! Now you guys can leave...Unless, You want to stay? I mean you can help the cleaning crew" Nate called out, walking inside the kitchen
From the corner of my eyes, I saw Finn talking to someone on the phone. Discussing something very serious or at least that's what it looked like.
"Fuck off" I huffed turning on my heels and went towards the front door of that amazing house, which was now a mess.
Instantly greeted by warm air and merciless Sun, I walked out. I heard footsteps following me closely.
"Man! It's sure is hot outside" Ethan grumbled. I rolled my eyes at him muttering a 'Dramatic ass' obviously he heard it as he narrowed his eyes at me, while unlocking the car.
"Come on now" He spoke, opening the door for me and gave me an impatient look.
"Although I could've opened the door by myself, thanks"
I got in and settled comfortably as he closed the door shut. Then getting in the driver's seat, He put the key in the ignition.

"Is your seatbelt on?" He asked just as he was about to start the car.
I glanced at the seat belt, then slowly turned my head to look at Ethan. He looked at me sternly, as I again glanced at the seat belt then again at him.
He was running out of patience, I could see it on his face as he gave me a steely look. Sighing I reached for the seat belt and buckled it. He mumbled something under his breath and started the car.
The window was opened, letting the wind in and mess with my hair. The sun was glaring at us from the sky. Cursing us with it's raging fire.
I rested my head against the seat and took a deep breath. Although I was in a moving car, the wind was warm and it was a hot day. But, It felt oddly calm and peaceful. Like in that moment I wouldn't be anywhere or doing anything, except that.
"You are awfully quiet" Of course! He couldn't see me happy for a single moment.
"I am always quiet. You are the one who speaks nonsense" I cite back, coldly and closed my eyes.
"You are being so mean towards me" He let out childishly, I couldn't see him, but I knew he was probably pouting or something.
"I am mean towards everyone"
"Never mind. You were better quiet."
Opening my eyes, I glared at him "I am just going to ignore you. You are really infuriating" I muttered under my breathe
"You can try. But, you're gonna miss me in about five minutes" He said, glancing at me and shooting a smirk.
Letting out a huff, I crossed my arms on my chest and looked out of the window.
"You know, I am right"
"When are you ever wrong?" I retorted sarcastically as I watched the city running with us. I heard him chuckle and didn't bother to say anything further.
"I want to ask you something, Though.." He said slowly. He tone lost the amusement, which laced in it before.
Suddenly, strange tension filled the atmosphere, killing the fun and retorts. If there would have been someone else, they might have gone crazy with the thick and screaming silence, which was prickling on our skin. But, I was used to it. Maybe worse than that?
"What is it?" I asked, turning towards him. In his outfit from last night. He was sitting in the driver seat. His hands were on the steering wheel controlling the movements like a pro. Every now and then, his hand would move on gearshift, teasing it.
The dim rays of sunlight sneaked through the window and decorated his face. Clearly enjoying the art, it would create.
As sunlight shone on his face, the Hazel that was his eyes looked almost green. Precious green emeralds. That stood out on his face like gleaming sparkles in the water.
"About Last nigh-" He glanced at me one more time and began to say carefully. I knew where this was going, so I quickly spoke up.
"Don't talk about last night. It was a fucking mess, never going in a party again" Although that sentence may seemed like a joke, but it wasn't. My tone was hard as steel, clearly indicating that I didn't want to talk or hear, whatever he wanted to say.
"Okay..." He trailed away unsure, furrowing his eyebrow and focused back on driving.
Throwing one last glance at his direction. I closed my eyes again and leaned against the seat. Inhaling the smell of some kind of car air freshener, filling the air.
~~~
"Do you have like a thing for sleeping in my car?" I heard an amused voice.
Groaning slightly, I opened my eyes and squinted it. When the brightness practically killed me. Tilting my head, I saw Ethan smirking at me. Arsehole.
"I am sick of you" I murmured softly. Just as I was about to be deep in slumber, he woke me up.
"Well then, take some medicine" He chuckled. I glared at him through narrowed slits, unbuckling my seat belt and opened the door.
"You forgot to thank me" I heard him called out, just as I stepped out of the car.
"Save some dreams for the night" I snorted. Turning around, I walked towards our Dormitory.
I heard the roaring of an engine, followed by his familiar quiet laugh, then it slowly faded away and became a distant memory.
I looked over my shoulder and saw Ethan's car gone. Letting out a sigh, I entered the dorm building. Desperate for a shower, to wash away all my stress and anxiety from the previous night.
