On nights like these

I wonder where

The sun dives among the clouds

Without a glare

Hidden somewhere

Of places unaware

Whose paths I sometimes despair

I wonder if it's a happy place

Full of solace

I wonder if that's where it goes

For by the night the sun betrays

With promising star that light up

The gloomy sky

With the moon taunting its beauty

Unleashing it's scars

And by day it too will leave us

With the ruins of last night

Asking us to proceed to the path

Where the sun goes
