P/N : This poem is about war. How brutal people can be and how little innocent kids react to it. Hope you like it. I'll write a part 2 maybe. :)

A sunny day had turned dark,

It seemed as if there were no sparks.

It was too quiet and unusual,

But this little girl made everything magical.

She was pure and innocent,

She was like an angel who had been sent.

Although she was terrified of the place,

Through the darkness she was trying to find a familiar face.

She thought why people were sleeping in the day,

Why were they right here but away?

She kept looking here and there,

But found nothing around anywhere.

She was moving out but stopped,

The calmness on her face was lost.

She knelt down and tears streamed down her face,

She held her father's dead hand and whispered, why did you leave without any trace?
