I wondered why you'd stare all day,

Cause you were an amazing friend to me.

You'd always know what I wanted to say,

But there was something else I couldn't see.

When I got to know there was something more,

I couldn't believe that somebody would have feelings for me.

Cause I was insecure and sore,

I wasn't proud of that fact unlike somebody else would be.

I didn't realize how lucky I was,

Until I was lost in a situation like that.

I used to think about him and just couldn't pause,

I felt amazing until I found it was a trap.

He made me feel that I wasn't good enough,

It was like all the stars went blue.

Falling out of love became very tough,

When I was in your situation, I realized what you went through.

I'm really sorry for what I did,

I should've appreciated every bit.

All I want to say is that thank you for giving me hope,

Making me proud and making me cope.
