《Blood to Love | 3rd year》49- Shrieking Shack

June 6th.

I awoke and got up hurriedly. Draco had already left my dorm to get ready and Pansy came back.

"Do you know yet?" I asked Pansy while turning my back to her and scribbling "Draco" on the kiss list with a quill and shoving it back into the drawer.

"Know what?"

"You'll see," I said while smirking and continuing to put my uniform on.

"Oh no! I have Draco's tie again," I groaned.

"Just wear it, he won't care."

I nodded and tied his tie around my neck, smelling faint cologne on it.

I finished getting ready and Pansy led the way to the great hall for breakfast. I sat next to Draco and he linked our hands under the table.

Blaise and Pansy didn't know about us yet so this was going to come as a massive shocker.

"We have something to tell you," Draco finally said after awhile of sitting nervously and wondering when to spill the secret.

"Go on, mate," Blaise urged.

I lifted our entwined hands from under the table and Pansy smiled brightly while Blaise gasped.

"When?" Blaise rapidly asked.

"Yesterday," I said.

"I knew it!" Pansy squealed.

I laughed at her and we went back to eating and talking about the upcoming week and how the professors would most likely die down on the school work as the end of the year came up.

"You have my tie!" Draco noticed while examining the one untied around his neck.

"Switch me then."

He untied the tie around my neck and wrapped it messily around his while handing me back my tie.

"Tie it," Draco demanded.

I turned my body to face him and leaned over slightly to tie his tie.

"What's wrong?" I whispered, getting closer to him every second.

"Don't tease me."

"I'll do what I want," I said while tying off the tie and turning back to face Blaise and Pansy.

"We'll see about that," Draco whispered.

"Off to Trewlany's," Blaise told us while getting up, not wanting to watch Draco and I flirt.

I hopped up along with Blaise and Pansy and together, we walked to the divination classroom.

"I'm so happy for you!" Pansy said while doing a small dance in the hallway.

"Well calm down. It's not that big of a deal, I've known I was going to do it for awhile but yesterday was the perfect opportunity."

"What'd you guys do?" Blaise questioned.

"We had a picnic and spent hours outside just talking and messing around. It started to rain during the sunset and I told him I was ready and we kissed."

"Aw! It was like one of those amazing moments when your kissing under the stars in the rain on a field," Pansy said, aching her romantic soul.

"It was amazing."

Blaise rolled his eyes at us and we climbed the ladder to the divination classroom.

As usual, we paid no attention in class and messed around the entire time, completely ignoring Trewlany as she attempted to engage the class in her lesson.

"Dismissed," she finally said, which got my attention.

We scuttled out of the classroom and headed to the common room to mess around with Draco.

We sat at our usual table in the common room and after a few minutes, Draco showed up.

Blaise reached in his bag for a quill so he could doodle on a piece of parchment.

"I can't find my quill," he groaned.

"Here," I said while digging into my bag and rummaging through to find my quill.

"I left it in divination," I complained. "I'll get it before care of magical creatures."

Blaise sighed and Draco passed him a quill from his own bag.

Blaise continued to ignored us and began drawing figures on his parchment of random people and things.

"I can't wait for summer," I said while giving a light sigh.

"Me too."

I smiled then pulled his tie closer to me while giving him a kiss for just a few seconds. I could feel his heart pounding through his chest.

"I love having an effect on you."

"Same," he mumbled while grabbing me by the tie this time.

Our lips met familiarly and more electrical energy rushed through me every time he touched me.

"Get a room," Blaise said.

We pulled away and laughed at him.

"Now I see why you and Pansy are always together," I mumbled.

"What was that? I'm addicting and you want to kiss me every second of the day? I'm glad we're on the same page," Draco joked.

I smacked him lightly but he grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him. I turned my body and leaned my back against his chest. I proceeded to lay my head near his neck and only slightly on his shoulder.

He grinned at me and I smiled back while straining my neck to look up.

"My birthday wish was granted."

"You weren't supposed to tell me your wish!"

"What's going to happen? We break up? I plan on marrying you, I don't care about a stupid candle."

I laughed but deep down felt massive flutters invading my stomach.

"Soft Malfoy," I whispered.

He pushed me off of him and turned me around forcefully while shoving his face against my lips. I pulled away and he smirked at me while Blaise raised his eyebrows but ultimately kept silent.

"Angry Malfoy."

He gave me an intimidating stare and I laid back on his chest, listening peacefully as his heartbeat gradually slowed down. My heart had also been racing but it calmed down drastically as well; just simply sitting in his presence.

"Time for class," Blaise said after awhile of making light conversation.

I jumped up and headed to the divination classroom to go back for my quill, as it was my only one remaining.

I climbed up the ladder after all the students exited. I walked in and saw Harry place one of the glass orbs onto Trewlany's desk.

"Harry? What are you doing here?"

"Hermione stormed out of class today and knocked this over so I'm just putting it back. What are you doing here?"

"Forgot my quill."

He nodded and I walked over to get it and came back to where Harry was waiting for me. Trewlany popped up next to him and began speaking in an extremely raspy tone, though in a speech-like manner.

"It will happen tonight. The Dark Lord lies alone and friendless, abandoned by his followers. His servant has been chained these twelve years. Tonight, before midnight... the servant will break free and set out to rejoin his master. The Dark Lord will rise again with his servant's aid, greater and more terrible than ever he was."

Trewlany said these words and Harry looked extremely confused and scared as I stood there in complete shock, not knowing what to do with the information oozing from Trewlany's mouth.

"Harry?" I whispered while inching closer to him.

He didn't respond due to Trewlany shaking her head as if exiting a trance.

She lightly coughed and smiled normally towards us. "Dear boy, did you need something?"

Her tone changed to her usual voice and Harry quickly nodded and grabbed my wrist firmly. He led us out of the divination room and down the ladder to the ground.

"What was that?" I screeched.

"Sirius Black is coming tonight. That's what she said."

"Harry! We've got to do something!"

"You're not doing anything, stay here."

"I will not stay here," I defended myself.

"Okay, after dinner is Buckbeak's execution. We are going to go together and put all of this rubbish in the back of our minds. Trewlany is bloody insane, she probably doesn't know what she is saying."

I nodded and ran along with Harry to care of magical creatures with him at my side.

"Hagrid isn't going to teach us anything today, is he, Harry?"

"No he's not."

I sighed and began getting prepared for sitting around outside and talking to people.

As expected, Hagrid was sitting by his hut, bawling his eyes out due to the execution set in place for tonight.

I pitied him. However, Hermione comforted him the entire class period as the rest of the class stood around and messed with one another.

"So you and Malfoy?" Harry asked.

"Yes, are you mad at me?"

"No, it's just that he's a bully and you deserve better."

"I know exactly what I deserve and Malfoy is everything I've ever wanted."

"As long as your happy."

I nodded quickly and he sighed as Ron gave him a unreadable look.

Harry sent an expression back as if they were communicating through their minds but I simply ignored them and said goodbye, seeing all the students leave to head back indoors.

I linked arms with Draco as we walked back. I also told him I was going to sit with the Gryffindors so he begged me to stay. I declined and told him I had the rest of the day to hang out.

"Malfoy is an idiot!" Hermione groaned but turned red immediately as watched me sit in between her and Harry.

"What'd he do this time?" I questioned.

"Buckbeak," she mumbled.

I nodded and ate my food. Fred and George entered the great hall and George attempted to scurry away but Fred grabbed him by the collar and shoved him down in the seat across from me.

"George get yourself together," Ron protectively scolded.

George glared at him and I turned to Hermione, not wanting to get involved in the argument about me.

Lunch sped by, along with the day. I was absentmindedly walking to transfiguration class.

I sat down next to Draco and paid attention as McGonagall taught.

Draco tapped me and I looked over at him. He began writing on his hand and then he placed it closer to me to read.

"Your dorm after dinner."

Those few words were written on his hand.

"I can't," I whispered to which earned me furrowed brows. "I promised Harry I would visit Hagrid with him after dinner,"

He scoffed but then remembered Buckbeak was a sensitive topic for me so he altered the plans.

"Right after class, your dorm," he whispered to which I nodded.

"I suggest you stop playing around back there!" McGonagall scolded from the front of the room.

I paid attention for the rest of class. After awhile McGonagall dismissed us.

I grabbed my belongings and waited until everyone was out of the classroom, not including Draco, who was standing by my side and pestering me to walk out with him.

"Professor McGonagall," I began. "This might come as a shock but Snape won."

She brought her hand to her mouth, covering up her gasp, knowing that I was referring to the bet she made with Snape and Dumbledore.

"Very well," she croaked out while motioning us to exit her classroom.

I grinned while taking Draco out of the classroom by his wrists and into my dorm. I waved goodbye to Blaise and Pansy who were sitting in the common room.

Once we arrived in my dorm, I placed my belongings down and Draco twirled me around to give him a kiss.

I passionately kissed him as the familiar electrical current flowed through my body. His hands were curled against my chin as he kissed me and his rings triggered excess fluttering in my stomach.

"Lock... the... door," I breathed out whenever the time was available.

He kept both hands on my face, continuing to kiss me, as he back away slowly and slipped one hand off of my face to lock the door. He replaced it quickly and we went back to what we were doing.

"Where'd you learn all this?" He asked quickly during a breath.

"Ron and George," I uneasily said.

He paused for a split second but then shrugged it off.

"How about you?" I questioned curiously.

"Practice," he vaguely said.

I pulled away and we stared at each other while breathing slightly heavily.

"On what? Your pillow."

He smirked at my guess and tried to lean back in but I backed away stubbornly,

"Not my pillow," he explained while taking another step forward.

However, I took another step back away from him.

"Pansy, right?" I asked as he took one last step forward and raised his eyebrows unbelievably.

"We kissed once," he informed while leaning down to me once more to which I stepped back at a dead end against the wall.

"So it's just natural, Malfoy?" I said while stepping closer to him this time.

"I guess so," he finalized while turning around and walking towards the door.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"You obviously have a problem with me kissing Pansy so I'm going to give you space."

"Are you serious right now? I don't care that you kissed Pansy! I was messing with you but unless you have some crazy secret to tell me then I'm fine with you being a natural kisser."

"And I told you practice."

"Fine."

"Fine."

I scoffed at him and walked to my bed. I looked back at him, annoyed, and went to lay down.

"That's it?" He questioned.

"I'm tired," I mumbled while pulling the blanket off of my bed to crawl in.

He grabbed my wrist and and pulled me towards his chest.

I stumbled onto him, still slightly angry but also craving him dramatically.

"I'm not done with you," he whispered.

"That's too bad."

"What's your problem?"

"My problem? I don't have a problem."

"Why are you acting like this?"

"Why are we fighting?"

"I'm not sure," he replied.

I dropped my unwanted attitude and began crying.

Draco looked bewildered at me as I broke in front of him.

"What's wrong, love?" He quickly asked while wiping away my tears and hugging me.

"I don't know," I sobbed truthfully.

"Is it... the month?" He hesitantly questioned.

"Yes," I groaned.

"I don't know what to do with you," he panicked. "What can I do?"

I laughed through tears and hugged him back tightly.

"I want chocolate," I whispered.

He pulled away from the hug and looked at me solemnly. He used the back of his hand to swiftly wipe the stream of tears flowing down my face. He then wrapped his arms around me and picked me up bridal style and walked me down through the common room with a couple stares at me. I giggled at him and he walked us to the kitchens.

"Wobby, I need a chocolate bar," Draco instructed while setting me down.

"We've run out! Professor Lupin has been raiding the stash!" Wobby shouted.

I began to tear up again as emotions flooded over me, though immensely unwanted.

"Y/n, it's okay. I think Blaise has chocolate in his nightstand drawer."

"I'm so sorry," I said while sobbing uncontrollably.

"Darling, it's okay," Draco consoled.

Wobby began crying once he saw me and I hugged him tightly.

"Why are you said? Wobby is concerned!" The house elf croaked.

"Personal problems."

"Did you and Mr. Malfoy fight?"

"No we are actually together," I whispered through tears. "He takes care of me."

With those words, I cried even more just thinking about how much he spoiled me.

"We've got to go," Draco said.

More tears flooded my eyes as we departed from the house elf.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Draco kindly asked.

"I'm fine, I assure you. Just an unusual day of emotions."

"This is a first," he whispered while walking me back to his dorm.

Blaise and Pansy passed as well and saw my tear stained face, causing them to follow after Draco and I.

I entered the dorm.

"What happened?" Blaise asked.

"Nothing," I said, growing annoyed at all the questions.

Pansy nodded knowingly at me and sat down.

"Boys, I'm about to teach you a lesson," Pansy declared. "When this time comes around for a certain lady, you better treat her nicely and make sure she is comfortable. You both are rude and narcissistic which isn't going to work in this case. Be kind, give her what she wants, and you'll stay alive."

Blaise and Draco nodded immediately, seeing how serious Pansy's expression was.

I laughed at them and laid down in Draco's bed while taking a quick nap until dinner came along.

I awoke to Blaise bringing me some food while still laying in Draco's bed.

"Thank you," I groaned while eating the food slowly and remembering to meet up with Harry.

I jumped up and walked into the common room and then near the great hall. I was about to walk in and grab the Gryffindors but I noticed them outside through the large window so I quickly sped up to meet with them.

Draco was running away from the trio with Crabbe and Goyle at his side. He completely disregarded me while sprinting into the school, holding his nose.

I furrowed my brows but caught up with the Gryffindors who were rushing down to Hagrid's hut.

"Wait up!" I yelled and they all turned back and synchronously stopped in their tracks.

"What happened to Malfoy?" I asked once we began walking in a group of four.

"I punched him," Hermione mumbled and I gasped.

"He was being a git," she reasoned.

I shook my head but continued walking with them down to Hagrid's hut like I promised. Buckbeak was on a chain leash, surrounded by pumpkins, yelping every few seconds.

Once we were settled into Hagrid's hut, Hagrid and Harry stood by the window, overlooking the view before the execution.

"Good man Dumbledore," I heard Hagrid say to Harry as I sat in Hagrid's enormous chair with Hermione and Ron across from me.

"You lost him!" Hermione bickered with Ron.

"What are you guys on about?" I asked.

"Ron's lost his rat!" Hermione said angrily.

"I did not! Your bloody cat ate him!"

I sighed at the two but Hagrid's eyes lit up slightly and he rushed across the room.

"Ron look what I done found!" Hagrid beamed.

We all turned our gaze as he handed Ron scabbers.

"I think you owe someone an apology," I whispered.

"I'll make sure to let Crookshanks know," Ron spat while cooing Scabbers.

Hermione scoffed and turned away but a small jar shattered on Hagrid's table.

Hermione picked up the small shell that was thrown but Harry groaned loudly and rubbed the back of his head.

"Hagrid, they're here!" Harry said, enducing panic within the room.

"Yer lot better get on out o' here!"

We all scurried around and exited the back door as Dumbledore and his squad came rushing up to Hagrid's house.

Hermione led us all behind a large group of pumpkins that were surrounding Buckbeak's large body.

Hermione turned forcefully as if she heard rustling in the woods and she lightly gasped.

"What is it?" Harry asked, noticing her sudden jumpiness.

"I thought I just saw — never mind!"

With that we scrambled back up the path to the castle and stood at the top, watching the executioner bring out his knife.

Ron stood, looking bewildered at the executioner and the large weapon in his hands. Hermione was crying softly right beside him. Harry stood beside Hermione, looking skeptically at the scene unraveling before his eyes. I was on the end next to Harry, tears streaming down my face as the weapon made its way closer and closer to Buckbeak's head.

The weapon was dropped on Buckbeak's innocent head and I grimaced as more tears fell. Hermione tackled Ron in a hug and cried on his shoulder. Harry glanced at me as if about to make a joke about Ron and Hermione, however he noticed my tears and pulled me into a hug, all while wiping off my eyes softly.

Ron screeched and we all turned to him.

"Scabbers bit me!"

I noticed Ron's rat jump out of his arms and Ron instantly chased after him. I sprinted quickly away from Harry and followed after the rat with Ron, knowing he was going to complain for a long time if he lost his pet again.

Harry and Hermione's footsteps echoed behind ours. Ron dived down to grab the rat and he was extremely successful.
