《Blood to Love | 3rd year》48- It's About Time

I awoke in my own bed at 11:59 p.m on Saturday. I jerked the blankets off of me and slipped pass Blaise and Pansy who were spooning in Pansy's bed.
Once I closed the dorm door, I ran to the boys dormitory. The common room clock struck midnight and I bursted into Draco's dorm.
"Happy birthday!" I said while closing the door and shaking Draco awake.
"Are you insane?" he growled while covering his face with the pillow that was previously under his ignorant head.
"Yes I am! Now get up! We are going to the kitchens."
He groaned and I pulled his arms up and wrapped them around my shoulder to support his sleepy body when walking.
We walked all the way to the kitchens until he began to finally wake up.
"How does it feel to be 14?"
"It feels tiring."
"Wobby, can you make a cupcake?" I whispered to the familiar house elf.
He nodded aggressively and scampered around the kitchens, ordering other house elf's to help bake.
I sat with Draco on the stools placed in the kitchen and waited patiently for the cupcake as Draco dozed off.
"Don't forget our plans at noon today," I said.
"I won't. The plan is to hang out with all three of you until noon and you can take me to the surprise."
"Good." If he could recite it when he was tired then he could remember in the morning.
The house elf came up a couple minutes later with a vanilla cupcake. Blue icing was cleanly twirled across the top and a single lit candle was placed in the middle.
"Make a wish," I said while holding out the cupcake for him.
He closed his eyes and lightly blew the fire out of the candle. Then he grabbed the cupcake and two forks.
"Dig in," he spoke kindly.
I took the fork from his hand and we ate his birthday cupcake together while making light conversation.
"What is that?" I said, looking astonished and disgusted.
"What?"
I scooped up a piece of icing on my finger and examined it for a second and then smeared it on his nose. He wiped it off with a napkin while I laughed at him.
"I'll get you for that."
I nodded in a sure-you-will type of way and went back to eating the cupcake with him.
After a few more minutes we finished it off and talked to the house elf.
"Wobby thinks Ms. l/n and Mr. Malfoy should date," Wobby voiced his opinion.
I patted the house elf respectably on the back and said goodbye solemnly while walking out and heading back to Draco's dorm.
I walked in, minutes later, and hopped in his bed next to him while falling asleep the morning.
Although my sister came into view and it was too early to stay awake. I shook and shook but she wouldn't leave this time so I screamed.
Draco was towering over me and I realized I was now awake and okay. I sighed a breath of relief and turned to go back to sleep. He did the same and we ignored the nightmares that we both experienced.
When I awoke in the morning, Draco was walking around his room and getting ready. I sat up and told him I was going to get ready as well. He simply nodded and I walked back into my dorm, running into Blaise, similar to exam day.
"Morning," I greeted cheerfully.
"Top of the morning to you," he joked.

I laughed and walked into my dorm room, seeing Pansy do her makeup and Daphne clean her side of the room.
"Hey," they both greeted.
"Hi."
I began getting ready for the day and dressing in cute, yet comfy clothing, which I would eventually change out of.
Once I finished my morning routine, I walked with Pansy into the common room where the two boys were chit chatting amongst each other.
"Happy birthday," Pansy said to Draco.
"Thanks," he mumbled while going back to whispering with Blaise.
"Let's grab some breakfast and then we can do whatever Draco wants," Blaise instructed.
We synchronously walked to the great hall which was filled with laughter and jubilant students.
"Waffles or pancakes?" I asked Draco.
"Pancakes."
I grabbed two pancakes off of the platter in the middle of the table and plopped them on his plate.
"If you're going to treat me like a king then maybe everyday is my birthday."
I rolled my eyes at him and grabbed myself some food. We ate while conversing and agreeing to whatever Draco said.
"Let's go outside and sit around and start to dance for y/n's entertainment."
I grinned at him and we headed outdoors once we wiped our plates completely clean.
"It's nice out," Pansy noticed.
We all nodded and sat down in the grass as Blaise came out a couple minutes later with a radio and turned on Justin Bieber.
We cackled as Blaise began break dancing. A slow song then came on and Pansy jumped up to dance with Blaise in the grass; just the couple — alone together.
I glanced at Draco who was smiling like a romantic girl as he watched the romantic couple.
"You wish that was you?" I questioned.
"If you were in my arms."
My face heated up significantly and I turned from his eye contact. I could feel his gaze on me as I turned but I refused to look back at him.
He stood up and offered his hand to me. I hesitantly took it and he pulled me up while dancing to an upbeat Justin Bieber song. We laughed and I switched to dance with Blaise and Pansy a few times as well.
After awhile we sat down and began talking about the summer, again.
"Come stay with me," Draco offered.
"If you're serious than I will," I responded.
"I'm serious, just not Sirius black."
I shook my head at his response and glanced into the fields near Hagrid's hut down the hill. The view was amazing and I wanted to live this moment forever.
"I'll probably stay with you then," I accepted.
"It's almost noon, off we go!" Draco suddenly said to me.
I waved goodbye and rushed into my dorm with Draco at my side.
"I'll be right back, Malfoy."
I ran into my dorm and grabbed a cute dress out of my closet. I changed into the dress quickly and applied some light makeup then hurried back outside.
Draco raised his eyebrows at me and I smiled at him.
"Why are you all dressed up?"
"You'll see."
I led him out to the quidditch pitch. I set up a blanket and a few baskets filled with food. I also placed goblets and drinks on the blanket for a picnic in the middle of the grassy field.
"Do you like it?" I nervously asked.
"It's more then I deserve."
"I agree. But today is special."
He laughed and sat down while digging into the food and talking about random events in our lives.

"Can we dance?" I asked after getting bored of eating and talking.
He stood up and I jumped up next to him. Luckily, I brought along Blaise's small radio and I turned on a slow song.
"Cue dancer Malfoy," I demanded.
He began swaying with two hands on my hips and my hands connected from behind his neck. We rocked back and forth in each other's presence with my head buried into his chest, drowning in his expensive cologne.
After dancing, throwing food in each other's mouths, and talking, the sun began setting and the day was coming to an end as time passed quickly in each other's presence. It was wild how fast the time flew when you were with the person you enjoyed most.
"We can lay here and watch the sunset and count the stars or whatever."
"Okay," he mumbled.
We laid on the blanket, watching the sun fall further down while radiating a orange tinted sky. As the moon creeped up into space and the stars appeared, I turned to Draco who had already been looking at me.
"I have something to say," I blurted out.
"Say whatever you want as long as it doesn't ruin my birthday."
"I want to say —"
"Go on."
The rain began beating down on us but I laid still and he did as well, waiting for my response.
"I'm ready," I whispered.
He stared blankly at me for a few seconds and I grew anxious that he had moved on or that he wasn't prepared for this moment.
"You're sure?" he whispered back.
I nodded and he stood up. He proceeded to grab my arms and pulled me up with him. He pulled me closer to him while kicking the picnic basket away from near our feet.
"I've waited for this moment for months."
With that he closed his eyes and leaned in. I did the same and my stomach twirled as my lips connected with his.
My hands rummaged through his hair and his hands traveled down my back. The flutter in my stomach grew stronger as each minute passed. We gasped for breath every few seconds and his touch caused an electric rush to flow through my body.
His breezy hands grabbed my waist and picked me up. He lifted me in the air and the wind blew in my face as I smiled like a child on Christmas morning. He set me down after a second, lips connecting eagerly as if they were meant to touch all along.
The rain continued dripping down our bodies but we took no notice of it as our lips were locked and it was just us in the moment — all outside factors disregarded.
"Malfoy," I whispered during a breath.
"Hm? he asked quickly before connecting his face back against mine.
"You taste different when your awake," I whispered in between another breath.
He stopped for a moment. I stood in the grass nervously as he cocked his head sideways.
"It was a joke, Malfoy."
"I hope it was," he said while grinning and pulling my chin closer to his for the third time.
We had a shorter kiss but it still sent an electric charge through my body.
"Flustered?" he asked while pulling away from my face.
"Definitely."
I ran through the field with my arms spread out wide and the rain pouring down my face and soaking my dress to the point where it stuck to my skin as if it were a leech.
Draco chased after me so I threw off my shoes and dodged him left and right.
He finally caught me, all the while laughing dramatically and truly happily. He spun me around once and gazed at me fascinatingly.
"This is the best birthday wish a guy could ever ask for."
"My presence is amazing."
"Yes it is."
I blushed at his compliment and he wrapped me in a tight hug. I gave in, weaving my hands under his arms and connecting them against his back.
I began unexpectedly laughing.
"L/n, why are you giggling so much?" Draco questioned, although not letting go of me.
"I'll add that one to the list."
"You better. That was the best kiss I've ever had."
"Out of how many?" I asked while pulling away and looking him directly in the eyes.
"Two now."
"Three," I whispered, remembering when Pansy told me her kiss list and his kiss with Hermione during truth or dare.
He nodded hesitantly and I squealed with joy, not able to contain myself.
"You're bloody insane."
"You still like me," I responded while raising my eyebrows slightly.
"Do I?"
"Seeing as you waited all this time for me..."
"So we're together now," he questioned while picking up my shoes and handing them to me to put on.
"I guess we are."
"It's about time."
I smiled at him and ran away back to the blanket. I picked up all the stuff and rushed inside with Draco following after me, damp shoes squeaking loudly on the castle flooring.
He sprinted until he reached my side and we walked together back to the common room.
He grabbed my free hand and linked it together. I squeezed his hand and got distracted, not noticing the trio and twins suddenly standing in front of us.
"Hey," I awkwardly greeted.
They all glanced down at the hand in which Draco was holding.
"So that's new," Fred broke the silence with more awkwardness.
"Oh — yeah."
Hermione gave her best fake smile, as did Ron. Harry looked slightly disappointed and George stormed away with Fred following after him yelling at him to wait up.
"Congratulations!" Hermione finally said, growing more comfortable by the minute.
"Yes, congrats!" Ron said, representing the supportive friend he is supposed to be.
"Brilliant," Harry muttered, looking disgustedly at Draco.
"Well we better go, see you all tomorrow?"
They nodded and I hauled Draco back into the common room while mumbling to myself.
"Why is he so mad?"
Draco ignored me as I muttered questions to myself and stopped in the common room.
"Pansy and Blaise are in one of our dorms. We have a fifty/fifty chance of walking in on them as always," I explained.
"We'll go to your dorm."
I nodded and we walked up the staircase to my dorm. I took a deep breath inwards and stepped through the doorway. I let go of my held breath and smiled at the empty dorm in front of my eyes.
"I'll be back, you probably have a pair of plaid pants on the floor or in my dresser or somewhere."
He smirked at me. "You know me well."
I stalked into the bathroom, changed, and brushed my teeth quickly.
Once I finished my usual nightly routine, I walked back into my dorm and watched Draco slip on his night clothes.
"Looking good," I complimented.
"I always look good."
"Can't you just accept a compliment?"
"No," he said while walking over to me and lifting up my chin.
It was more than an electric charge shooting through me, it was static, friction, and any other energy you could think of. I couldn't help but smile.
My stomach whirled as he leaned in once more. I closed my eyes and gave him a quick kiss.
"Flustered?" I asked when he pulled away from my face.
"Always have been."
I laughed and walked over to my bed with him following after. He took a quick stop to grab my diary and I sighed.
"No need to be so annoyed, I don't mind seeing the young you."
"Well I do."
"That's really unfortunate."
He flipped to where we left off and began reading.

October 31 1992
Dear Diary,
Hey. It's Halloween and Malfoy thought it was funny to go around scaring Blaise and I all day. News flash: not funny. I can't wait to get revenge. However, something has been happening to Harry. He's been hearing voices and off venturing out with his geeky friends again. Apparently he is the "Heir of Slytherin" which I don't quite believe. Hopefully things get better in the future for Harry, he is noticeably overwhelmed.
Much love, Y/n

"Aw, I bullied you," Draco said while poking me in the side.
"Shut up."
He flipped to the next page read the next journal entry.

December 25 1992
Dear Diary,
I forgot about this journal for awhile. I'm back! I swear I might kill Malfoy if he speaks to me again. He's extremely annoying. Anyways, I'm at Hogwarts for Christmas with Blaise. You probably know why: stupid parents. Note to future self: stick up to Malfoy and stop caring about your parents.
Much love, Y/n
————————————————————
"Kiss me or I'll read another," he threatened.
I leaned over quickly and gave him a peck.
As I began to lay back down, he set my diary down and grabbed the back of my neck, forcing me back onto him.
Our lips connected perfectly once again. We deepened it slightly and he subtly slipped tongue into my mouth.
He pulled away after a second and opened one more journal entry as I gasped at him.
"I can't stop reading now! It just got good!"
I scoffed as he read the final entry for the night.

February 14 1993
Dear Diary,
Hello and happy Valentine's Day. Malfoy caught Pansy's eye and they were sending notes to each other in class. Blaise and I sat in the common room. We are getting pretty bored here. We need new friends and new information on the "golden trio" who always seem to be up to something. I suppose no news is better than dying every year. Stay safe, future me.
Much love, Y/n
————————————————————
"Is that enough?" I questioned.
"For now."
He grinned at me and tried to lean in but I turned my head out of playful annoyance.
He grabbed my chin and twisted my head around and try again. However, as he attempted to kiss me, I turned my head again and his lips hit my cheek.
"You don't want to do that."
I rolled my eyes and gave him a quick kiss.
"Clingy Malfoy," I whispered.
He scoffed and turned away, displaying how dramatic he truly was.
"I like it," I added briefly to which he immediately turned back around and smirked at me.
We stared into each other's eyes until mine became very heavy. I tried to keep them open but the battle was too difficult and I closed them gratefully while beginning to fall asleep.
I felt a hand intertwine with mine and officially drifted away into the dark realm of sleep.
"Night, love."
That was the last thing I heard before my mind went blank and my surroundings exited my brain.
I dreamt of Draco and I dancing in the common room, similar to real life. It was quite a fuzzy dream with dancing and Justin Bieber that I was sure to tell him when we awoke in the morning for an eventful school day.

Condemned
“The human body is a fragile thing. But the soul... The soul is malleable. Easily tainted. All it takes is one drop of blood to dye it all red.” Long ago, in a time remembered only by a few, the seven lords of Syvernia, led by the Great Hero Ludwig, ended the Great Calamity that plagued humanity for as long as time itself. It was the dawn of a new age of man. . . until the thirst for more poisoned the new lords. Slowly, the thread that held humanity together loosened and a thick haze consumed the lands between. Mysterious vanishings, supernatural forces, and silence warns of a looming threat inside the coat of fog. Though the struggle of the realms did not interest Leor, for he was condemned as a Purblight, until he took a seemingly simple job: escort Alden to Lightendale and collect the handsome reward, a reward that would let him live the rest of his life with ease. But it’s never that simple, especially for someone who denounced the Gods. All his life, death followed Leor everywhere he went, cutting down his friends and family. When his first love died at the hands of an agent of light, he was prepared to throw everything away until a mysterious voice promised him a chance for retribution and a chance to bring her back by completing the seven trials. Thrown into the realm's struggle against the approaching haze and themselves, will Leor, a Purblight and an acquaintance of tragedy, use the very power he disdains to accomplish his goals? This is the rewrite of my novel: Condemned; I changed it to past tense and added/ took out some ideas from the original. This is essentially the first draft since I'm writing as I go. Also, there might be or might not be Gore, Sexual, or Traumatizing content. I only put it there for a disclaimer in case I want to add it. I have no set release schedule yet, but I'll try to post once every 2 week. Thanks for your patience.

But Ren however, was given something else entirely. “[Loner] title activated, declining invitation to heavenly dome. Remaining in current world…” _____________________________________________________________________ A/N: Ok, so for those wondering about my other fiction, it's still alive. I plan on continuing it, and I plan on posting the next chapter for it about on or after Christmas. The reason for it was because all of my plans, layout, even outline, as well as some chapters I was suppose to release were deleted thanks to a mishap by my classmate. That really triggered me so I got unmotivated, but I plan on continuing it so don't worry. Also, I plan on writing this new series, much more because there is no more classes (CHRISTMAS BREAK HERE I COME!!!), sadly, I still have to take a removal exam because I failed one of my subjects (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!) Well anyway, that's enough for me, enjoy!
