~Y/N POV~
"So...will they put him back in?" I asked as everyone's attention was turned to the mango as he sat on the bench with a sign in his hand.
"He got the okay to play again, so hopefully," Yachi sighed as she rested her hands on the rail.
"COME ON BOYS!" I cheered as they readied their defence. Daichi wound up receiving the serve, and Kageyama did a setter dump which was insanely close to being blocked by lava boy.
"AYO HOW IS TOMATO HAIR STILL REACTING SO FAST?" I gasped as the ball landed just out of reach of their receivers.
"Gagh! That kid messes with my senses," Seiko scowled as the buzzer went off, and I looked down to see Tsukki switching out with Kazuhito.
"YEAAAA, LETS GO DINO!" I cheered as he looked up at me scowled. (how kind of him to acknowledge me🥰)
"Alright! We've got Tsukki and Kageyama back! Time to attack!" Seiko exclaimed as the boys grouped into a small huddle, probably getting a pep talk from Dadchi.
"A final serve and we're at the disadvantage, it makes me very nervous," Shimada sighed in a sing songy voice as he clutched his noise makers.
"Pssh, it's Asahi serving! He'll crush it!" I exclaimed as man bun approached the service line, ball in hand.
Shiritorizawa dug up the serve and ✨shockingly✨ set Ushiwaka.
"AGAIN?" Seiko gasped as she leaned forwards, nearly falling off the balcony.
"HIS HAND!" I exclaimed as Ushiwaka slammed the ball through his injured hand, having it rebound to the back where Asahi picked it up.
"NOYAAAAA!" Seiko and I exclaimed as Noya dug up another spike from Ushiwaka. Then, to my surprise Shiritorizawa set moss head a T H I R D time in one rally, but we thankfully got it up.
"RYUUUU!" Seiko exclaimed as Tanaka shot a ball right through a double block, putting us at match point.
"YEA BALDY! We might pull it off!" I exclaimed as Seiko pumped her fists in the air.
"GO KARASUNO!" Takinoue cheered as the buzzer went off, and I looked down too see Shiritorizawa calling a timeout. I smirked and looked to Seiko, noticing that she wasn't paying attention.
"HA WUSSIES!" I cackled people all around me tried their hardest to stifle their laughs while Seiko didn't even bother. She just slapped me on the back as she gasped for air, and I gave a cheesy smile.
"Y/N!" someone called from the bench and looked down too see Noya jumping up and down with his hands in the air.
"NOYAAAA! KICK THEIR ASSES!" I cheered as everyone in the team burst out laughing, earning us a glare from Shiritorizawa's coach.
"Oh, what's it too you. You're the same colour a dirty wall-"
"Y/N SHUT UP I CANT BREATHE!" Seiko cackled as she covered my mouth and clutched her stomach.
I snickered to myself as I picked my mallets back up, banging carelessly on the xylophone as the entire team watched happily.
"Any songf requetsfh?" I asked through Seikos hand which still covered my mouth.

"Twinkle twinkle little star!" Hinata exclaimed with wide eyes as I nodded and continued to play on my child's toy.
"Twinkfle, Twinkfle little ginmbger," I sang, my words being muffled as everyone on the team applauded my performance right as the timeout ended.
"Thank you! I'll be here all night!" I exclaimed as Seiko finally dropped her hand from my mouth.
"Aw man, you're something else kid," she snickered as I crossed my arms and nodded.
"Alright, let's kick this into gear!" I cheered as Shimada sighed and shook his head.
"Tanaka, Asahi, and Daichi have played this whole time. They're probably far beyond their limits. It's gonna be a tough one," he thought out loud as I peered down at the boys.
"They've come this far! No way they'll give up now," I declared confidently as the whistle blew.
"Well, let's hope your right."
-
"Does he seriously not experience human pain or exhaustion?" Seiko asked seriously Ushiwaka hit another of his powerful spikes.
"See. He is a robot," I exclaimed as she sighed and shook her head.
"Well, robot or not, he must be reaching his limits," Shimada added as Asahi received the serve and Hinata pulled off his crazy quick with a set from behind.
"YEA NICE ONE GINGER!" I cheered as Kageyama served just too have the ball fly back over the net towards us. He and Hinata then tried the quick again, but it was shut out by lava boy.
The score was tied up at 19 when Hinata stopped mid stride, unable to jump up for the block.
"Gagh! Hinatas almost done!" I cringed as he repeatedly hit his legs over and over again, probably scolding himself.
"Come on guys, don't give up now," Takinoue begged as Shiritorizawa served, the ball catching on the tape and slowly tumbling down.
I held my breath as Daichi tried to move forwards too get it, but his legs simply wouldn't move. Then suddenly, Noya sprinted past him, throwing himself on the floor and getting the ball up above the net.
"LOOK OUT!" I screamed as the ball hung over the net, getting slammed down by Ushiwaka. Somehow, Noya managed to get up in time, spinning his entire body around and digging the ball up before collapsing.
"OH MY GOD!" I screamed as I clutched Seikos shoulders.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?" she gasped, not able to take her eyes off the court.
"YEAHHH! GO NOYA! HAHAH!" I chanted as he looked up too the stands, smiling and giving me a thumbs up.
Oh my god he's perfect.
"Here comes Tsukishima!" Yachi exclaimed as Hinata moved too the back too serve, placing Asahi, Daichi and Tsukki at the net. Hinata served and ran onto the court before being shoved to the side by Kageyama who took his place.
"The centre!" Seiko exclaimed as Shiritorizawa's setter set the ball too the middle blocker.
"ONE TOUCH!" Tsukki screamed as the ball was slammed against his injured hand and went flying backwards.
"Is Tsukkishima reacting faster?" Yachi gasped as Ukai nodded in agreement.

"He just wanted a touch. That's all you need when you read block a quick attack," Ukai instructed as we watched the ball get passed up.
The boys went into a synchronized attack, and Hinata got the set. He leapt into the air, slamming the ball against Shiritorizawa's block, causing it too slowly fall next to him.
For whatever reason, Ushiwaka decided now would be the best time for him to start passing, and dove for the ball. He flicked it up with his wrist, scrambling too his feet and getting the set once again.
"HINATA!" Yachi shrieked as the ball was slammed down, getting received by Hinatas...face. (real talk tho how does this kid have any teeth left??)
He collapsed to the ground as Tanaka rushed in and got the ball, followed by Kageyama who passed it to the very back corner.
Of course, Ushiwaka got the set. He almost appeared to have a strange, white aura firing up around him as he ran in for the kill.
Tsukki, Daichi, and Asahi used a three man block which forced Ushiwaka into hitting a cross court shot, having it rebound off of Kageyama's hands.
"GET IT!" I screamed as Daichi threw himself across the court too get the ball. Asahi followed up, rebounding the ball off the block which was received by Tanaka.
One last time, the boys dove into a synchronized attack, this time with Hinata matching his timing with everyone else so the blockers couldn't read where the toss was going.
I watched in amazement as the toss went up, every player on the court leaping into the air and holding perfect form. It looked like they were all flying, hovering above the ground as Hinata swung at the ball.
The sound of his skin contacting the ball rang. through the gym as Shiritorizawa's libero barely missed the pass, shanking it and sending it flying back.
Everyone froze as the ball hit the ground, the only sound in the gym being the refs whistle as he called the point for Karasuno, and the ball tumbling up and down.
I felt my breath stop, and I stared at the ball, not able to make any sound as the scoreboard was flipped, and the entire gym rung out in applause.
"OH YEAAAA!" I shrieked as Seiko pumped her fists in the air, stretching out one arm too catch Yachi who nearly toppled over.
"T-they did it!" I stammered, feeling tears fill up in my eyes. I didn't even bother to try and keep them in because I was so overjoyed with the outcome.
Daichi slowly turned from the net, a completely stunned expression on his face as he, Suga and Asahi collapsed into each others arms in a fit of tears.
The first years all stood in silence, not quiet adding up what had just happened until the second years came bounding onto the court and tackled them with huge hug.
"We're...going to nationals!" I cheered as the tears flowed down my face, and I jumped up and down in celebration.
Wait. Oh my god. I have to tell him. Today.
I froze as the thought entered my mind. I assumed I'd be terrified, but now, I felt completely overjoyed that he'd finally get to know.
I smiled too myself as I watch Noya and Kageyama drag Hinata too the base line to thank Shiritorizawa for the game.
"And so the crows fly too nationals once more," Ukai sighed happily as the teams thanked each other, moving down to thank each other's coaches.
"Oh, right! Now you and your grandson are the only people to have led Karasuno too nationals!" I exclaimed as he nodded happily, gazing down at the team as they dragged themselves back to their bench.
"I guess it runs in the family," he said with a wink before standing, and walking back up the staircase.
"That old fossil sure is something else," Seiko sighed as the boys wandered towards the cheering section, bowing before us and thanking everyone for coming.
they called in unison.
"NOYA! IM SO PROUD OF YOU!" I called out as he looked up and smiled.
"THANK YOU Y/N!" he called back as I waved, frantically trying to wipe the tears from my face as the five of us cheered for the team.
"C'mon Y/N! You got this!" I encouraged myself as I threw a few punches towards the bathroom mirror.
The awards ceremony would be finished any minute now, and I could feel the knot in my stomach growing tighter by the second.
The next time I walked out the bathroom door, I would be confessing my feelings for Noya. I shivered slightly as the thought lingered in my mind, and I continued to try and hype myself up.
"C'mon! You got this! You're a bad bit-"
"Y/N? O-oh sorry!" Yachi exclaimed as she peaked her head into the washroom.
"YACHI! I need your assistance!" I exclaimed, grabbing her hand and dragging her inside, licking the door behind her.
"Uhm, o-okay. What is it?" she stammered as I leaned against the door and stared ahead.
"Gagh! It's a long story but....I made a deal with Noya and now I have to confess my feelings too him," I whined as her eyes grew wide.
"Y-you love Noya?" she gasped happily as I groaned and nodded.
"But what if he doesn't feel the same way? I mean, it could mess up our friendship but I really don't want to lose him I just don't know how I'm going to do thi-"
"Y/N!" she exclaimed, interrupting me as I looked up at her.
"You'll be fine! Don't you remember what you told me?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. I slowly nodded as she smiled and pulled me off the door.
"You don't get afraid to say things because you know you're just being yourself. If he can't see that then I don't think there's a single person in the world who can," she declared happily as I straightened up and looked her in the eye.
"Yachi! When did you become so inspirational!" I sniffed, pretending to wipe a tear from my face as she smiled and turned me around.
"Like you always say, I learned from the best!"
