《Here She Goes (Nishinoya x Reader)》Did I Lie? ✔︎

~Tanaka's POV~
It was officially my favourite hour of the day; dinner hour.
This was for two reasons. For one, I got to stuff my face with the marvellous food provided by the smoking hot managers, and two, Daichi had forbidden Y/N to attack me during dinner!
It was a win win situation on my side.
I sat at a table with Y/N, Noya, Hinata, Kageyama, Yukie, and Yachi. Of course, Y/N sat in between Noya and Yukie, followed by Hinata, Yachi, Kageyama and then me.
"KAGEYAMA, I BET I CAN EAT MORE FOOD THEN YOU!" Hinata declared as he began stuffing his face with rice.
"You're on!" Kageyama exclaimed, joining in on the race.
"God, do you two ever stop competing?" I asked as they continued to shovel food down their throats, only stopping for a moment to shake their heads at me.
"You two are worse then Bokuto when he goes up against Nekoma," Yukie sighed as she watched the idiots who were basically inhaling their food.
"She might have a point there," Y/N added as she got distracted by the competition in front of her, not noticing when Noya stole one of her pieces of meat.
"Hah, and you said I have a death wish?" I scoffed, catching her attention as Noya quickly shoved the food in his mouth and making her gasp with disbelief.
"You didn't," she breathed, staring at him with an overly dramatic, hurt expression.
"You're right, I didn't," he said through his chewing, earning a playful slap from her.
"Oi, how come when I do something bad you chase me for the entire day but when this bastard takes your precious meal he only gets a slap?" I asked, offended.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm her favourite!" Noya exclaimed, making her roll her eyes.
"Actually my wife is my favourite but what ever makes you sleep at night," she teased, leaning against Yukies shoulder who grinned at us with food stuffed cheeks.
"Eh, I think it's cause she loves him," Yukie teased, poking at Y/N's cheeks before being swatted away.

"Yea right, I only love three things in this world. Food, Nerf guns, and Petunia," she said sternly, crossing her arms as the table burst out laughing.
"Well if T-Tanaka keeps up with his shenanigans I bet you're going to have to make room for a f-fourth," Yachi stammered, looking between the pair with a soft smile.
"YACHI, you're supposed to be AGAINST Tanaka treating us like breading animals," she wailed, falling off of her chair and laying on the floor.
"Come on, get up. I know you didn't eat lunch because you and Yukie were rolling down the hall in the garbage bins," Noya said with a laugh as he grabbed her hands and yanked her up as a shocked expression appeared on her face.
"How'd you know about that?" she gasped, looking around the table to find who snitched.
"Oh come on. If you want something to stay a secret you probably shouldn't send videos of your antics to Bokuto, the most talkative person here," he told her as she scoffed and turned to Yukie.
"Yukie, dude, we're gonna have to tie him to my skateboard and roll him down the ramp again," she grumbled as Yukies eyes lit up with excitement.
"And there's no teachers that we know at this school to stop us!" she squealed in agreement.
"Wait a second, how did two girls under 5'5 manage to tie one of the best aces in the country to a skateboard?" Kageyama asked, finally taking a break from his competition with Hinata.
"That's a secret we'll never tell," Y/N said, wavering her voice and wiggling her fingers around like a witch.
"Akaashi did it for you, didn't he?" I smirked as the two girls paused, looking between each other before bursting out laughing.
"Hey, it's not our fault he'll do anything Akaashi tells him!" Yukie exclaimed as she slammed her fist on the table.
"He's got Bokuto on a leash!" Y/N exclaimed as she fell against Noya's shoulder, making him blush the slightest bit.

"Well, well, what do we have here? Noya? Blushing?" I asked slyly as he froze and glared at me.
"I AM NOT BLUSHING!" he exclaimed angrily as
Y/N and Yukie burst out laughing once more.
"Oh come on dude, you can hide your feelings but you can't hide the colour in your face!" I teased as
Y/N finally calmed down and patted him on the back.
"Aw come on shorty, I know I'm irresistible," she said with a wink before going back to finishing her dinner.
"I'd say he agrees with that," Hinata chimed in before receiving a hateful glance from the pair.
"Ginger, not helping," she scolded him, reaching across the table to flick the small boy in the head.
~Y/N POV~
"COME ON N/N YOU KNOW YOU LOVE HIM," Yukie teased as I burst into the Fukurodani team room, hoping they'd take her off my hands.
"I DO NOT NOW GET IN HERE AND TEASE ONE OF THEIR HAIRCUTS OR SOMETHING!" I yelled back as she happily skipped into the room.
"Hey, hey, hey! What's going on now?" Bokuto asked as he leapt up from his place against the window and wandered over to us.
"This bumbling bitch won't shut up," I huffed as I crashed onto the floor and looked up at him.
"Hey, it's not my fault your falling hopelessly for Karasuno's libero," she smirked, sitting down next to me.
"Oh I am not," I shot back as Bokuto got a stupid gleam in his eye.
"I've got to admit it lil sis it does seem like there's something going on between you two," Bokuto said in agreement as he kicked at my legs.
"Oh please, if Tanaka hadn't locked us in that room last night none of you would be saying anything," I grumbled as I shooed his foot away.
"Oh, so I guess you're forgetting about the night before in the gym? You two couldn't keep your eyes off eachother!" Yukie exclaimed as I face palmed and rolled onto my stomach.
"Akaashi, come get your children," I whined as the pretty setter made his way over to us and raised an eyebrow.
"I would but I have to agree with them. Kuroo told us what happened after everyone else had fallen asleep," Akaashi said plainly.
"Yea come on, love songs? Really?" Bokuto teased, crossing his arms and snickering as I let out a long sigh.
"I'm going to shove that roster head in a trash can," I muttered, "and it wasn't a love song!"
"Oh really," Yukie sneered as the chorus to closer by Tegan and Sara began to play.
"So let's make things physical! I won't treat you like you're oh so typical! I want you close, I want you!" Yukie sang along as I tackled her, trying to get the phone back.
"Definitely a love song," Bokuto squealed as I gave up and crashed onto the floor in defeat.
"So what, we were just singing and dancing together," I retorted as Yukie paused the music and laughed at me.
"And cuddling, don't forget the cuddling!" she exclaimed happily.
"It's not my fault it was cold in there. Besides, he's the one who started it!"
"Oh, so shortys making moves on the shorter shorty?" Bokuto asked, eagerly trying to get information out of me.
"Nuh uh! He was chasing me around the gym because we wanted to get rid of our energy. Then I stopped suddenly and he crashed into me. We just kinda laid there till we fell asleep," I said sheepishly as Bokuto and Yukies eyes lit up, and even Akaashi got a small smile on his face.
"AWWW, YOU'RE SO IN LOVE IT HURTS!" Yukie wailed as she fell to the floor, clutching her heart as if it was in pain.
"Uh huh, sure, whatever you say," I said in a mocking tone as she smirked and looked up at me.
"But did I lie?"

Blood Quest - A LitRPG
Leon's family has been diagnosed with a new type of incurable blood disease. It's an absolute death sentence and when it turns aggressive, you only have a few more years of painful life left to live. His mother has just begun the last years of the disease when a person supposedly comes back from death with supernatural abilities. He talks about a choice you get after death--get an extra chance to come back to life, or die. Even with Leon's diminishing life span, he won't consider the option of going there, until he meets another survivor who had the same goal as him and succeeded. Leon has a choice to make—die now for a chance to save his mother, or die in a few years, where the disease rapidly melts his muscles from his own body. He enters a game-like world, a sort of limbo, where his ultimate goal is to climb the tower of Katastroph before his mother's time runs out. There are a few problems with this though. The tower is almost impossible to beat, if you die you won't revive, and only three people in over twenty years have actually made it back. Leon has two years to climb the tower, with the help of the few people willing to try, while Ai, the tutorial guide, makes things harder for them. ***** The story starts pretty dark but goes onto a lighter tone. Then (more) dark again. Disclaimer: This story is an experimental project and I hope to get any and all feedback you can give me. Warning: First draft. Chapters tend to be between 3400-4100 words long (about 8-11 A4-pages). Mentioning it since I've seen it in other fictions :P Sometimes they're shorter, sometimes they're longer. ******************************** CHAPTER RELEASES UPDATE: As the first "book" in the series is done, I'm going to release coming chapters somewhat sporadically, and when Writathon ends, I'll probably go back to publishing one chapter per weekend. We'll just have to wait and see! I hope you enjoy the story! I really appreciate all comments and feedback, so if you have anything to say, feel free to voice it :) ************ [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

8 206Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
8 177Beyond The Sky
This is not a battle between good and bad, in a realm that defies those things, good or bad were counted on which intention to keep. Ansel Cakara and Maven Kalila once had an encounter between two gods who fight against each other for the greater good. Maven, who was traumatized by the encounter, wrote her experience in a web novel. Ansel noticed it, and then they met and discuss the event. When they discuss those things, something happened. They were transported to another world, where those gods reign. Unfortunately, not only Ansel and Maven were transported, their friends too. Thabit promised if they fight for the greater good, they could be taken back to their world. The problem lies whether which greater good that they have to choose.
8 55Cascadia
Corvayne, a warrior exiled from his desert village, ends up in the backwater colony city Cascadia. He meets a strange girl, jumps through a portal to another world, and starts a journey to protect her and discover the secrets and treasures waiting in the mysterious rifts they call 'Towers'. Follow Corvayne as he fights throngs of monsters and explores totally-not-Seattle with Wick, his foul mouthed girlfriend. Along the way Corvayne will accumulate a rotating party of friends and misfits, journey into through dungeons full of dangers and loot, and learn to use a bevy of strange powers as he faces threats inside the mysterious 'Towers' and through the city of Cascadia, which hosts secrets of it's own, all while trying to unravel his tangled past. Updates: Mondays + Whenever I feel like it. ****************** This story features: -A cast who are mostly good friends and mostly good people, despite exploring weird and dangerous worlds. -A mix of dungeons, dragons, and exploring the pine scented city of Cascadia. -Very light LitRPG elements that slowly seep into the story. Learning the system is a challenge that takes the characters a long time. -A strange universe with a mix of both standard magic and powers that twist reality itself. Some wizards know how to cast fireball, but a few can curse someone to be lost for eons. -No explicit sex scenes. Warning is for implied sex scenes and some nudity. -Lots of blood, mostly monster blood. -A long planned story and long character arcs. I have the ending in mind as I write. -Single character PoV, with plans to add bonus chapters for other characters. [A winner of the Royal Road Writathon challenge.]
